A lovely area that we wish we had more time to explore, but happy that Feathertop and I were able to put our names in the log here, thanks
The three of us were spending some time on Yorke Peninsula, and today Mr Tardis went out for a caching run south of Port Vincent.
While I was searching, a flock of pelicans arrived near the shore and were hoping that I had some food for them. I didn't but I sat and enjoyed the view for a while.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache The X-Trailers.

A short walk from our camping spot, and yes the views were fantastic today. High tide, clear-ish skies and a light breeze. Perfect for a coastal walk.

This weekend, I headed to the Yorke Peninsula. The goal was to visit Innes National Park for the Saturday to find a few of the oldie geocaches, but also to enjoy a different vicinity for geocaching. I used Edithburgh to base myself for the weekend's activities. On the drive to/from Edithburgh, I visited Ardrossan, Port Vincent, Wool Bay, and Coobowie, and also visited as far south as Sultana Point and Troubridge Point.
Today, I took the long route home back to Adelaide from Edithburgh, but did multiple detours along the way. I initially headed south to Sultana Point, followed by Troubridge Point; Two areas that I hadn't visited in all of my historical Coobowie Yorke Peninsula trips. I then drove north following the coastal route, stopping off in Coobowie, Wool Bay, and Port Vincent. A highlight was visiting the white clay mine just north of Stansbury, and it was a nice walk along the beach to get to.
I parked just nearby, and walked to GZ where I managed to find the cache reasonably quickly. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks The X-Trailers and [@earthlight](http://coord.info/PR39X1P) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

No one was around here this morning making for a nice and easy find. Cache is all good
A quick overnight trip to the Yorkes for 1.5 days of solid caching. I did a bit of the geoart by myself before meeting up with Davidwazza for a majority of the day caching around Innes National Park. With an event in the evening in Edithburgh headed over there before going for a nice walk along the water front for the evening. Day 2 I made my way from Edithburgh along the coast line and back home by lunch time. A total of 169 caches for the trip.
Thanks for the cache

Spending the long weekend on the Yorke Peninsula. I parked the car in Coobowie and I set off on my bike towards Edithburgh. A great path between the two towns makes for an enjoyable ride and perfect for geocaching. I picked lots of geocaches along the way.
Once at Edithburgh, I explored the town and grabbed a couple more caches south of the city before returning back to Edithburg for some dinner.
One or two were difficult finds, but the vast majority were found without problems. All caches were in good condition.
Thanks for the cache The X-Trailers and Earthlight.

We have a small team travelling to The Yorke Peninsula from Canberra. It was decided by the group before we left that our team name would be DTY, although I act like the boss, I rarely am and so the initials actually stand for - dty73, Tankengine & Youban.
Today was the last day on the Peninsula before we head hone tomorrow. So the team decided that it was a “tourist day” and we would go have a look down the coast a bit. But of course like true geocachers we couldn’t help taking a caching route as we went. We ended up getting a lot more than we expected, but we did have a good time.
I was expecting with the T2.5 it would have been more of a ledge. But glad it was easy. Tftc earthlight and The X-Trailers!!!

Found with dty73 and youban on our Yorke Peninsula invasion! All logs signed DTY (dty73/Tankengine/youban). - Had a great day today, in that we didn't do any of the power trails! That was a very nice change! So a nice variety and some very nice locations! Thanks!
As this is a generic log comments relevant to this cache will be placed at the end. On a caching trip with Dty73 & Tankengine to Yorke Peninsula. Team signed as DTY. Thank you all the cache owners who have put so much effort in placing and maintaining these caches. Our last day on the peninsula so we decided that we would explore the area around Edithburgh. The weather had turned chilly and the odd spit of rain came and went. The views around here are eye catching. Cache all good. Kutgw
Our last day in Edithburgh, but we have been waiting for the promised sunny day of light wind so we can head north along the coast. Some great scenery and caching is hopefully in store.
Sorry-the logs are starting to get a bit repetitious but we are having a great time, walking in the sun and the breeze, collecting caches as we go, enjoying the scenery and appreciating the series. It’s nice that the hides are not too onerous, but just subtle enuf to make us work for a few of them. Others we have found pretty quickly. Life’s always more interesting if things don’t come too easy!
The seagull muggles weren’t too happy with us looking for this one, but we didn’t let them stop us finding it.

Yorke Peninsula Day 3: A small break for power trails (after a quick 60 caches from the fishing line...). Then we collected caches around the Yorketown and Edithburgh area and in the Innes National Park. Some spectacular scenery to take in, strong winds to battle on top of cliffs, and another exhausting day. Signed as SWAG-JJ. TFTC!
Travelling down from Queensland with my fellow cachers Snickersallan, Waz and Vik, Ardom, Gcoven and JooJoo57. We have planned a week long adventure to collect all the geoart, the fishing line and anything else we can get. Thanks for the cache!
Day 3: A bit of a slower day today, did a smidge of the powertrail, a swag of traditionals and a few other randoms along the way.

The SWAGJJ team has embarked on day 3 and are enjoying the caching pleasures of the Yorke Peninsula! So much on offer and such a wondrous part of our great land! So many caches makes for a busy and fun filled day! Amazing views today and rather windy ! TFTC

Today we explored Yorketown and then travelled to the southern end of Wool Bay and through to Coobowie and finished at Edithburgh using Geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way with Roostaman and this was one of them. An easy find at GZ.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Hi there The X-Trailers.
We found your cache **"Where Ancestors walked by the Sea-Bay Views"** at 10:48:00 AM today. (This makes our find count 16888).
We cached around Coobowie today, & thoroughly enjoyed our tour around the area. We ended up finding a variety of container types and sizes hidden along the way. Today we found 12 caches (& DNF'd 1). Thank you for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
**Dropped Trackable:** "Fruit Salad apple".
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Quick trip to the lovely Coobowie to explore the YP. Of course it was also a perfect chance to fit in some caching and given it is my birthday the family could hardly say no.
Visiting SA for a week before going to Red Centre Experience in Alice Springs. Out with joojoo57 and Snickersallan doing caches on Yorke Peninsula then back towards Adelaide. Thanks to all COs for your cache hides.
Before attending the Red Centre Experience event in Alice Springs we're spending 5 days in SA mainly around the Yorke Peninsular. Appreciated the variety of containers and places they were hidden - it certainly brought us to places we certainly wouldn't have stopped at. many thanks to all the COs for your time and effort in the placement of your caches.
After two days of geoart we are having a sightseeing and caching run around the middle section of Yorke Peninsular.
