This one has gone missing again, I think it has become to well-known for the youngsters that frequent the area. Time to go.
Found this one but the cache was a little out of reach CO is going to look at it but if you attempt this one before then you may need a tool to extract TFTC
At first this one had eluded us at dusk, second time back and I spotted it where I was looking the whole time.. signed log and let the geosons play a bit of cricket. 41 degrees recorded today so it was nice to go out catch a breeze and enjoy the airconditioned drive around town..A muggle had turned up to fly his drone - one of those expensive ones with goggles n all and now I have Mr johnwillem adding one to his wishlist..ha I might have to hit him with something if he comes home with one lol. Tftc!
**# 17349** Found on the Qld leg of our 2017 winter escape trip.
Another perfect sunny winter day for another drive around while shopping.
Not many muggles around and a not so quick find here.
It blends in well, and I had to use extra resorces to retrieve it.
Thanks for the cache Slow Puncture (LJCC),

Mr RoddyC had a job to do in Morayfield today, so what better excuse could one find to go geocaching with Selva Girls in the area.
By the time we were ready for this cache, Mr RoddyC had finished his job and joined us in the park to located this cache - which he did with aplomb!
Log signed & replaced again. Found at 12.35pm on 17th May 2017. TFTC. Slow Puncture.

Parked up and wandered over to GZ all the time being buzzed by a 'gentleman' and his model aircraft. Took a while to find because of the low level of the sun but got there in the end. TFTC Slow Puncture (LJCC)
Today, I met up with Mrs RoddyC to clear a few green boxes in the area. Mr RoddyC was still with us. We parked and walked a short distance to GZ. There, we all let our fingers do the walking. Mr RoddyC was the one who located the cache. TFTC
Well zero credit for this one... I was way off... haha ducks disease doesn't help. Tftc. Great hide
Took so long to find. But great hiding spot. If it wasn't for placing fingers and hands around wouldn't of found it
Loved it!!
Was a fun drive by & I did have to hunt around, I think you guys are teaching me how to camouflage & hide well, giving me ideas to think for my first cache.
I've hit 50 yay!!!

This one took a while as gz not were I finally found cache. Go on a weekday as very quiet and you will need time to search around
Made a quick discovery on this although the actual retrieval took a little longer. TFTC!
This one took a bit of searching and once we found the hide the next problem was how to retrieve it. Covered in spider webs we braved it out and added our name to the log before a quick game of hide and seek. tftc
@nd attempt at this one as the first time I was here with the m-i-l and we obviously had cache blindness although it is very well disguised. After a few mins of searching we found it. TFTC
Found whilst visiting from NSW and catching up with family in the area.
Mr Staybe grabbed the cache whilst Mrs Staybe stayed at the car with the sleeping geokids.
Luckily he had found the cache and was returning to the car as a stream of cars started to arrive.
Thanks for placing the cache, we used to live in the area and drove past the grounds thousands of time well before we knew what geocaching was!

Felt all around but nothing today / will have to come back with a lesser vertically challenged
Out and about in the area finding all of those caches I have not found on past visits.
After finding the 'new ones' around Ewen Dam I am now heading south and home.
But it could that all day with all of these caches to find as I zig-zag my way through Caboolture.
Another short search before touching this one.
Thanks for the cache.

When I arrived, gpsr told me to go out onto the playing field. That can't be right. I meandered back to the covered area then looked at the hint. Within a minute or so I had the container in hand. I found it by touch, not by sight. Log and container are in good order. TFTC SP.
I thought better to grab this one, before school and sport activities are returning. Tftc

Out and about early this morning on the last possible caching day of 2015 and getting ready to start a new one, Headed South down towards Burpengary and Narangba to try for a few last caches before the new year. Great cache thanks for bringing me here and for the adventure. And also thanks for the musical memories Ian Dury & the Blockheads were one of my favourite bands.

Took a bit to find as gz is the tree. But common sense prevailed and eclipse tins are metal. Tftc
Wow, first I had an idea where this cache might be, well the GPSr changed that thought quite quickly as I almost walked past the area for GZ. Then I spent to long looking at the object closest to the coords, and coming up with nothing. So I tried a different approach on another object and after an extensive search the cache was soon found. I got my name in the log and soon onwards to the next.

Camped at Caboolture for a few weeks, and headed out to enjoy the beautiful weather.
There was a good of variety of hides, some a little tricky.
This cache was found after a short search, and in good condition.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Slow Puncture (LJCC), for us and others to find.

A Happy Mothers Day to all.
Today is our last day at Caboolture, after the morning at the markets we headed out to find the caches closer to town. We found all but one that we had placed on out to find list.

:D Happy days, I have finally converted this frown to a smilie with the assist of geoniece no 4
Find #1815
Another foray into the sunshine coast hinterland was on the agenda for today.
Let's see how many more smilies we can coax out of the region!
Ample parking, very quiet here today.
A couple of muggles parked nearby but both payed no attention to my brief foray into the grounds.
Arrived at GZ with my 'rhythm stick' but found I could do without it at a stretch.
A nice quick find, log signed & cache replaced as found.

Hard to find but glad we found our first location! Hint is accurate! Don't give up!
Very hard to find, use a stick to run around the edges, near a cross section.
My three month Brisbane adventure has started. Day 25, Redcliffe.
I didn't do much with geocaches yesterday. I gave Mum a hand with sorting instead. Awful day it was, hot and sticky, and eventually wet. Today seems much better. I need to get to Costco today, so the GeoSchnauzers and I are heading in that direction to go caching, then I'll do the shopping. It promised to be a much better day than yesterday for caching, but we got saturated on one cache. We had almost got to it after a 150 metre walk, when the heavens opened, with no actual change heralded by said heavens. It must have been waiting to get us in the open!! We didn't knock off, though. I turned on the car's heater and did park and grabs until the rain stopped and we dried out. In the end, I reckon the dogs and I got about 4km of walking.
No 14 of 26 today. Thanks, Slow Puncture (LJCC). It's more likely to be a hockey stick one gets hit with here! Good hide, took me a while. The GeoSchnauzers are in the car, as they're still damp, and it's raining slightly anyway.

Visited today to sort out this double container business once and for all. Now sorted. Only ONE container remains.
Updated the D/T rating as well.

Got it! Was odd the as there were two containers present with two different cache numbers.. I signed both logs anyways..

{:(] Could not find. Right on ground zero and nothing. Will try again in a few days.
If the placement and co-ords of this hide are accurate, then the D/T rating should be higher. Even a 6foot+ person standing on the bench would struggle with balance searching for it, let alone someone of my average stature. Resisted an attempt using something I’d brought with me (noting there were some height issues in previous logs) and in the end used a long stick to poke about until I felt something, knocked it down and then was grateful the magnet was strong enough to catch as I threw it back in place.
Took us quite awhile to find this one , had to look high and low and get a feel for it
Heading to Brisbane today and decided to grab a few caches around the Caboolture area on my way. The cache was a quick find and after signing the log all was returned as found.

11:15 Heading home, we knew what we were looking for, and where, though this one kept us guessing for awhile. Eventually found cache, (well, there are 2 of them actually!) ..... signed both logs and returned as we'd found them.
We arrived to visit friends nearby - we managed to get our caravan into their yard (only just). Then it was time to head out and find some caches. We look forward to doing as many as we can in the week or so that we are here. Nice one. We found the cache after a short search.[^][^] Thanks to Team LJCC.
Someone has placed this tin to where the m&ms container is from the grey lady
Took a bit. GPS had us 20 odd meters from the cache. But looked HIGH and low and found it.
We were up in Caboolture to visit the Oldies this morning and used the drive home to grab some caches up roads we don't usually drive on. Didn't have a clue what the cache name was about until we got to GZ. Cute. We actually found two caches so we signed them both. Luckily it was drizzly so nobody was out and about this morning so we had the place to ourselves. Thank you Team LJCC for placing this cache
Good Lord, finally we drive past this one and there is nobody here , better "swing" in and get it while we have the chance (see what we did there? )! After months of waiting the anticipation equalled the satisfaction of having a smilie where a lonely little green box used to be. Thanks for another cache, and another song to sing as we continue on our caching way Team LJCC
Out doing a bit of caching on Mothers' Day. This one had beaten us previously, but decided to give it another go. A word of warning for the clumsy caching like me - the concrete is rather uneven - I managed to roll my ankle while walking backwards as I was looking up instead of down! It didn't take too long before Marco spotted the hide - how on earth had we missed that one last time?!? TNLNSL TFTC
Despite looking for an hour with help from 3 muggles (who are now cachers) we did not manage to find this one. Even after looking at the photos now on the computer we checked that area thoroughly and still had no luck
I can still think like a cache hider even after a bit of a break from finding caches. B^)

Came to the hockey fields for an imaginary game of hockey with maverick. After winning 3-1 we decided to see if there were any caches in hight. Tftc
Parked in car park and was the only car there. Walked towards GZ and was the only person at the fields. Arrived at shelter and was soon in a position to look for container. Spotted very quickly in its clever hide so retrieved it wrote in the log and returned it to the spot found. Found at lunch time. Very overcast and light rain falling. TFTC Team LJCC
Finally found a muggle-free day and the cache was gone, as reported. Now replaced.
Went to check on recent logs of missing cache but too many cricketing muggles! Will check again this afternoon.
