As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Looked high and low for this one, but didn't know where should be looking. Hint a bit vague.
interesting area. Didn't find this one but we searched for a while before reluctantly giving up. This one proved to be hidden well.
Last morning up this part of the country so a final chance to grab some caches before work in the morning. This presented itself as a nice little trail and so it was.
The roads were all quiet and only had a single vehicle pass while completing it (Rural Post). all caches were quick finds and nice to find some reasonably sized caches out here.
pleased that I had the photo so as to work out where to begin
thank you for the work required to complete and maintain this trail
Thank you for the placement

What with plenty of scrub all looking the same in the dew laden early morning sun,i had to resort to the hint..sadly it wasn't a hint at all but a referral to a photo which us standard GPS users with a GSAK preload GPX file are never going to be able to see.. then turned ot the smart phone - but of course no signal either... = no clue
Found with Redants while on our Far North Road Trip to the Winterless North. We found ourselves in some interesting places that we would not have visited had we not been searching for caches. Thanks to all the cache owners.
Almost got caught out, we were looking for a micro. TFTC

We found this cache on a 2 week trip around Northland, visiting such locations as Opononi, Kaitaia, Cape Reinga, Russell, among many other places. Another good Tiger cache, TFTC
Out and about on a tiger hunt today, the trail was still fresh so didn't take us long to track this one down TFTC.
Drove over this road in the summer holidays, but didn't want to bother the family stopping so often.
Back in the area for work today.

Decided to do a bit of a day tour of Northland and grab some easy drive-bys in the process. Thanks.
Found this with a little help from Hotrod Pete, this is another one I drive past twice a day. Looked like rubbish.
This is still a favourite cache due to the sneaky hide.
We are on a caching mission to show the Jordan Five how geocaching works from loading their GPS through to logging their finds. Hopefully by the end of the day we will have some more converts to the game.
Today we have a good range of caches to find with the Jordan Five - large, small, and sneaky.

Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We are in my old home town of Whangarei, visiting family for Easter and decided to go out for a wet afternoon of caching. After a few caches around Glenbervie / Whareora, we decided to take Mt Tiger Road to Parua Bay and pick up the caches along there. The rain got heavier along here, so we tried our best to dodge showers as we grabbed caches – but we still got fairly wet! The phone didn’t load up the spoiler photo, so we didn’t know what we were looking for – which is probably just as well, as we may have thought twice about looking for it! Found the cache soon enough – a hard case hide! Thanks for the cache – a favourite!

The CO, tikitour, who happens to be my sister has been very busy hiding caches. Being in town for a few days, I was very lucky to have the CO accompany me on my quest of all her Tiger caches. Geobuddy, Flowernz was also there to find the few she still needed.
Rise on Tiger got a rise from me....that's when I first realized there was a micro hidden in the woods...but in the end it just gave me a smile...a clever hide!!
Thanks tikitour, my smiley numbers are adding up!

Decided to go and find this series, it was a hot afternoon but really enjoyed ourselves. TFTSeries
Rounding up the tigers today, a fun series and a great day to enjoy the finds.
Many thanks.
Many thanks.
Parked at the Rise on Tiger and wondered what we had got ourselves into when we saw the place and read the logs. Gave it a go anyway and were pleased to eventually make the find. Considering what we were looking for we were just pleased that it had been so well camoed. Have to give this one a Favourite point.
This cache also happens to mark our 5800th find. Thanks.

On viewing the photo's on this cache (thanks to the iPhone) there was an audible gasp of sheer horror but off we traipsed to commence searching. We were starting to wonder if the cache owner had completely lost it, when we discovered the cache. Phew!! We are giving this a favourite point because we are just so darn pleased with ourselves that we managed to locate it. Thanks for the fun cache! TFTC

The showers cleared for a bit so the Smith Family went out on a cache hunt. This was the last cache on our Tiger hunt today; a little trick cache that had us fooled for a short while looking high and low for the micro mentioned in the description and spoiler photo. TFTC
gosh, you nearly got a Rise from me as I was already running late, unexpectedly having to shift some cattle this morning before leaving home for the Heads... so thought, oh blast! I won't have time to search & search for elusive little caches.... but decided to read the Description & Logs a bit carefully 1st, so rose to the occassion and found the cache fairly easily. Great fun Thanks!
10.20am. I wondered how I was going to find this nano in the bush. And when I arrived I almost gave up before starting! Then as I stood on the edge of the bank wondering if I should go down I just happened to notice something that seemed to be worth a look. This one gets a favourite point from me.
Thank you. David.

Good on your Riser5. Did wonder if I was chasing your tail and would meet up at one of these new caches .
Looked and looked and looked and looked, but I couldn't find the darn thing. Micro's are never easy in the middle of the night. Looked everywhere I thought it would have been. Nothing. Sent a txt to the cache owner. Well asleep... didn't see that coming, but a slim chance. Well 3 FTF for me in a night is good. Good luck to who ever gets this one. Difficulty would be up I think, A micro with so many trees around.
Was there on placement so can't claim a FTF - come on Nick - go back for a visit before it's too dark - you can do it!!
Was weeding our sons garden at Poroiti today and as it got a tad toooo hot this afternoon decided to take a drive and check out these new caches. Was an interesting find in dead. loved the great camo thanks Titour. Has given me an idea for a wee hide. Thought someone had been about as a small geo trail was close by. YES an empty log book too, so a nice FTF made my day.
Good on ya butchie bum. I had a good look around last night with no avail. Looked around where I thought I would have found the cache. But I was looking in too much of a rush that I didn't see the cache for the plants around it. Thought I would be looking in the trees. WRONG.
I had my blinkers on and looking to hard for where I thought it would be.
Came back this afternoon, and was still looking for what and where I thought it would be without looking properly once again. Not remembering a cache I had done recently that was similar to this one. I should have clicked. Phoned the owner and they gave me a hint. Once I opened my eyes I realized my mistake. I look forward to more along this way.
