Found nothing to resemble a cache with in the tree or on the ground. A bit of a shame as I was looking forward to this one.
I was hoping to be guided to GZ by a brilliant blinding light but I went in the daytime . I however found the lighthouse and I must say what a splendid work of craftsmanship it is. Worth every penny.

I was very thankful that this cache was located not as high up as I had imagined and it was a doable retrieve even in jandals. TFTC

Once again found in the ground the opposum not happy with lighthouse near its house.
Beacon was on the ground but a fun find on this beautiful Sunday morning. TFTC
This cache was on the ground to popped it in the tree not sure where it was suppose to be. Thanks for a great cache.
Found it. But had no pen on me. I live local, so will be back to sign. Nice spot.

Nice find with woolwood9 today.
We enjoyed the drive / walk around the area.
Stamped logs as tm/ww NZ which may just look like a black smudge on plastic logs!
TFTC
*Nice walk along the beach.*

Located the lighthouse though the beacon is a little low and I think the solar panelling needs replacement for a good strong beam. Signed larger log as we guessed the micro log to be full. TFTC, a good adventure here!
Found at much lower altitude than the cache info lead me to believe. I wasn't sure so returned it to where I found it. TFTC
Had to do a 350 degree sweep of the tree to spot it, at least it wasn't twice around.

Out with family enjoying the chance to look at this great area. Got some newbies with us. TFTC
On A road trip with Dee+ME from Tauranga. Have been having a poke around here and there and been taken to some great places, many thanks to all you COs for your placements. This was easier than anticipated. Maybe over thought it Found at base. Returned as found. Cheers
Out and about with McJandals.
Thanks for the walk in finally sunny weather. Over thought this one. But thinking it may have once been a little or alot higher.
Cheers

I was staying in Pahi with the Jags and Aiden29 for Easter so plans were made to collect as many caches as we could in the area. A quick find was made here, we signed both logs, though the original log is full
We decided to get way for Easter and stay in Pahi with Merlot58 and Aiden29. This was quite a quick find although log was full.
Headed up North with Jag50 and Merlot58 to stay in Pahi for the long weekend. We were at Marsden point, and headed up this way to find caches along the beach.
Nice walk along here and easy finds. Great to do earlier in the morning before the sun was too hot. Thanks.
2nd cache along the way and another nice quick find here. Original log book was full so signed the extra piece of paper that was in there. TFTC
Never been here before. Certainly a lot of demolition concrete etc along the beach, which I guess is helping with erosion control. Quick find at GZ.

I was on a completely different tangent looking for this. I extricated myself and turned around to find lighthouse lying on the ground in the open. Put back in safer spot. Thanks for bringing me here Rednuam6
Should have ce on St Pats day for this Irish find, but it was raining. Better late than never! TFTC!
I liked the back story (read it on our way to the cache). Once we located the cache the clue made sense.
A wonderful day for geocaching. Beginning with a few geocaches on some back roads going up to Whangarei. quick find and still dry feet from low tide. tftc
Out and about for the afternoon with CB to find a few caches in this area. We had a great day out and had quite a bit of fun. A couple of finds proved quite eventful too, I explain what happened on those logs. Thanks eveyone for the hides.
Stopped off here about a hour or so ago but the tide was still to far in to be get along the beach without getting to wet. Decided to grab a few other caches before returning. This time around the tide was much further out and we could get along the point without to much issues.
No trouble finding the cache but had a bit of issue getting to the log. Had to get some tools out from the bag to get the log out of the container, but only to find that the log was full. Someone had leave another log so had to sign that one. This might need some TLC.

Found with the help of HappyFacedBandit's GPS as my phone decided to quit on me. What a cool little cache this is!
Big Geocaching day up at dawn and not home until dusk. #30. Ha Ha looked up from gps unit and saw a fello geocacher replacing the cache. Nice camo. Log was full but we popped a piece of paper in. TFTC.
Spotted Steeveb replacing the cache as we arrived. Had a quick chat before he had to return to work. Love the photo of my sister-in-laws boat on this cache page. She was given the boat and was hoping to restore it. As happens, lack of time and money meant the boat project didn't get completed. Kids did enjoy clambering around on it. A fun day out, thanks
[green]Hereby, I am disclaiming my find by signing the enclosed log. Thanks to the cacher highway that lead me to the right spot.

Too busy chatting on way out, we had gone too far passed cache before we realised, so did on way back.
Dad cleaned inside and out of the lens, however the bulb will need to be replaced.
Loved the storey, giving cache a favourite for this and because it was my 2900 find. TFTC

With three DNFs out of four hides so far along the beach, we were hoping for better luck finding the Irish Lighthouse. We were very pleased when the GPS led us straight to it, and we could see it on approach. Haha very funny! Giving this one a favourite, thanks.
#476 PEC still need to replace the bulb but the light house has survived the recent cyclone. TFT(inspiring)C.
A Waitangi weekend road trip to collect a few puzzle series of caches that we have solved over the last month or so - plus any other caches that we can find on the way!
A quick find. Log extraction bead challenging but we got the little sucker out in the end!

Despite it's design, this must be an effective light house as no orca have been known to get stranded here while feeding on stingrays.
I had nearly given up finding this one of it wern't for my 'light of my life' partner spotting this one. Signed in minumalist hyroglifics

Had a good laugh, nicely done... now we know what an Irish Lighthouse looks like, TFTC.
I can confirm that there is definitely a lighthouse on site. It might not quite be to the specifications in the plan. Thanks for the fun cache.
Thought this was going to be a hard find but quickly spotted and log signed. Muddy encounter as the tide was receding. TFTC.
Loved this!! I wish more caches where so cleverly thought out. It made for a good challenge and nice find. TFTC
Did a maintenance run tonight and found this cache on the ground. Please just undo the top and leave the base wedged in the tree. Its not possible to tie it there and it will stay put if not removed. Its now back up, shining brightly!
Awesome story, description made it sounds like it was going to be hard to obtain but was just sitting there. Owner might need to check
Was busy reading the big story when out from behind the tree come the 5yo with cache in hand. Not sure if it had fallen or was supposed to be this easy. Tftf.
I had something in mind what I would find here...but I was wrong! This well designed cache & story earns a favorite from me. Thanks
Replaced the batteries so there should be no more problems going forward.
TFTC, a fav

[Nearly searched for this one the night it was published, but tides were wrong so twas not to be... but today had the Luck of the Irish with this one- it was Much easier than I thought it would be] am wondering if Nodo might be right about cache creep? perhaps due to a muggle? but replaced as/where found
[Red is quite the shannachie! Really enjoyed this wee scéal & cache. Great fun, Thanks! ]

Spotted this from the beach with my head light. Nice easy grab for me. Very nice container.
Last one for the night for me. Thanks

3.10pm. Took a while to find this one. (But still only ten minutes since the last find) We were put off a bit by the description as the need for agility didn't apply. And neither of us are tall. We were searching too high. Has it crept already?
Thank you. David and Noeline.

A secondary reason for coming up north besides the primary one of attending an event was to have a nice walk along a beach picking up the odd cache along the way. The series along here suited it well.
I had a grin on my face which lit up when I saw the camo on this cache. Well done.
Cheers for the cache.
That was not an easy task for a person of my build ESP when I had to do it twice. Forgot the writing stick
Easier than I thought it would be,liked the creative story that builds you up to the cache.
Arrived at 9.30 am as car in garage. So great way to spend the morning caching . Tide just right I reckon so off I set for an enjoyable walk along the water line. WOW great "Irish Becon". Had a good read of cache page and did wonder JUST what was in store for me here. Spotted/ Hmmmm Now for Agility! Okay I can do it . At least try. So try I did. Managed to squeeze and pull/ signed yet another empty logbook/ replaced and enjoyed the views. TFTC and fav point here.
