It has finally come time to archive this series as the council is not going to keep the walk maintained and it has been diverted to no longer going in a link. There is another cacher who has been just waiting for me to archive this one so he can place one nearby. Well its all yours now. LOL You owe me.

We tackled this series as part of a Geelong (and Ballarat) group assault on Bacchus Marsh.
While some members headed off track to climb a peak, I walked back to the car along the rest of the trail.
I originally missed this one on my own as I was looking in the wrong spot, but returning later with a group effort the log was soon signed.
Thanks for the series, sorceysal.

This was find number 33 on a huge day of caching spent in and around Bacchus Marsh. We started out in Lara with an early morning flash mob event and then hit the road, caching our way towards The Marsh where we added a couple of the Ballarat crew to our number. And so with Na'wal, Frog_Lady, ThePacman, The_Tritonz, Roads75, Wozzle68, ST37E, DAB and Jacko83 we drove, walked, waded, scrambled and slid our way to a total for me of 36 caches.
After an unexpected hike into the nearby hills, we were running short of time so this guy became a quick drive by as we wound up operations for the day.
Thanks sourceysal !

Found After tackling a nearby ridge and the walk back to the geo vehicles, we were wanting an easy one. Lucky for us, this was a quick find.
A group trip including Frog_Lady, Buckleysbabe, the Pacman, the Tritonz, Roads75, Wozzle68, ST37E, DAB, Jacko83. It was a fantastic day that we had traveling from Geelong into Bacchus Marsh. Some very clever hides were found, plenty of laughs and great company.

A Saturday morning . A river walk. Absolutely no one about. Off we go...
A very enjoyable series. A chance to stretch your legs without having to hop over boulders.
A quick find with an eye for local traffic. Now to walk back along the track to the car. Luckily a little sun has finally broken through.
Thanks and cheers!

On a visit to Bacchus Marsh, we were able to make time to seek out a few caches. We took the drive-by option today. It was interesting to see what could have been a distractor close to where we parked.
TNLN .. . . . SL . . Thanks to sorceysal for the hunt.

Well, the final hurrah in the series !! Was quite an enjoyable little walk. Didn't spot any slithering creatures on this warm day, which was a bonus [^][^] TFTC and thanks for the series sorceysal. Well done.
We didn't know where the links walk started, so parked at the golf club. Oi, there's a cache just 20 metres away! It turned out to be a quick find for Australia Day. TFTC, now where does that walking path start?
Easy find thanks to the hint and yay a proper logbook

Out finding a few local caches with GeoHusband. This is a great walk along a beautiful river. Be careful of the condition of the track at the beginning. Lots of muggles, hint was very helpful.
Had to be careful about getting this........the place was packed, but we could see it straight away so it was easy to get.
Found on a days caching with LumpyJRB who was visiting from Katherine in the Northern Territory.
The sign said the track was closed. Oh well I thought, just add another star to the terrain difficulty LOL. I really enjoyed this little series. I liked the variety of hides and effort put in. TFTC.

Easy find as it was sitting on the ground, not even trying to hide. Replaced how we think it should be. Cheers.
We headed out for an afternoon of caching in Darley.
It was a whole family trip as we brought our dog Lucy along for the walk which she loved!
Thanks for placing the cache series we had a great time finding them all.

Plenty of muggles in this area today. Are you sure that Lerdies Links walk is only 3.8 km? It seemed to be further! Anyway, enjoyed the series with its variety of caches and their hiding places. Thank you. Found with vacachin, Kinkell1 and Tilley TB. TFTC

It's Torment Your Daughter Day, er, parent-teacher interviews, so Miss Teenager and I have the pleasure of each other's company. As her idea off a good time is with her nose in a novel, she may as well be in the passenger seat of the car as lounging around the house. So, let's start on the great number of hides in Bacchus Marsh.
If the teenager thought she was just going to laze in the passenger seat of the car all day, she was dreaming. I needed a bit of a leg stretch, which meant guess who would be accompanying me. This, after all, is the reason we've come this way.
Ten caches in a four klick loop? Perfect for a fine sunny day.
Miss Thirteen was definitely running out of steam as we walked along the street to this last hide in the series. It was obvious where the cache would be as I approached a familiar object, so the suitably themed container was in my hand before the teen caught up. Thanks, sorceysal, for a good workout, some fine views, and a great variety of hides.
Tenth and last cache of the series, and eighteenth for the day. It's shaping up to be a bumper caching day.

Finally, my caching partner in crime SedgwickDave had returned from a trip out west so it was time for another caching run, this time in Lerderderg State Park, hopefully to grab a FTF and a D / T Combo that both Dave and I had not yet been able to get. The weather forecast was looking good with a max around 25, so Dave picked me up from my place for an early start.
This was the last of this series, a different hide to the others, it took four guesses to locate the container but we got it in the end.
Thanks again to sorceysal for the cache. TNLN.

Having spent the morning in Lerderderg State Park hunting some high terrain caches with Ahomburg, we still had some time to hunt for some local caches before making the drive back to HQ. After refueling and having lunch had a local Fish n' Chip shop, spent the following 2 hours walking around the local river and golf course collecting a number of good caches. By now the weather was ideal with temperature around 25 but it felt warmer then that and glad I had the sunscreen on.
The last to be found in the Lerdie Links Walk series to date and a nice hide too. Enjoyed the hunt and the 3.8km walk today which was more like 5km due to the extended walk back to where the car was parked. Enjoyed the walk around the area and long the creek, thanks for showing me around. TFTC sorceysal

Had a call from my caching mates the suscoe team was the ageing Bushfire up to a day of caching up here in the Eynesbury area and then on to Bacchus Marsh.
I did not have to think about this so the answer was "What Time" We had spoken about this series before and I had found #1 on a recent trip to an event at Melton.
In a previous life Bushfire was a wool classer so the Eynesbury series bought back lots of memories of twenty four years out in the sheds and in the wool stores in Geelong.
After a break for lunch in the Marsh it was back on the trail of a few more smileys.
Arrived here and after a short search the cache was in hand and log signed.
Thanks to sorceysal for placing this cache, that's three in a row.

Found on a morning out geocaching with my dog. Left a tiki from my recent visit home. TFTC.
Finished all the Lerdie Links Walk caches on foot, in order. Some nice views of the river at the beginning, well it was pretty dry at that time of year, so it was more of a rocky creek bed And the flies got thicker towards the end of the walk, annoying buggers. Only saw 1 group of people on the walk, which was some kids and their dog at the very beginning.

Christmas day always seems to be a balancing act. Married kids usually have to decide whose parents they will celebrate with each year. Some even have to juggle their timing so that they can visit both.
We have solved the problem for our kids. We have our Christmas celebrations a few days earlier, so they can visit the "outlaws" on the proper day. This of course means that we are free to go Geocaching - - -
We started off by parking in the car park, but a groundsman/gardener in a ute started to give us dirty looks - so we parked on the street.
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (<2 metres)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.

The last The Demolition Crew night caching run for the year started in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne (as usual) and went all the way to the Melton / Bacchus Marsh area. Caching during the day and into the wee hours of the morning, the crew had a great laugh as we drove the roads and grabbed the caches. The highlight of the night was definately the high terrain caches in the area, which were attempted at night. I appologise to all the CO's for this generic log, but as I was away from a pc and internet for some time I have several hundred caches to log, and I cannot remember them all. My thanks to you for the cache placement.
Another legendary TDC (The Demolition Crew) night caching run with the crew being myself, Quasar3671, TrailRunning and RebelActs, which took us all over the place... Starting in the Eastern Suburbs and then headed out west as far as the Bacchus Marsh area, and even took in some more of the harder Werribee Gorge caches. A large bag of finds for the night, great company as usual, and lots of laughs and great stories. My thanks to all the CO's for their great hides, which as usual, made the night possible. Apologies for some generic logs, I will do my best to remember all the finds.
Went for nice night walk to these 5 caches in the series. Thanks for the entertainment on finding and walking to these caches.
Went for nice night walk to these 5 caches in the series. Thanks for the entertainment on finding and walking to these caches.
Myself and my fellow TDC mates (Rebel Acts, Trailrunning and Blacklegend) had planned a big night of caching which had us starting in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne and moving on through Bacchus Marsh and on into Werribee Gorge where we did some more challenging caches. We had a list of solved puzzles to collect along with the usual plethora of trads.
The weather was perfect for caching during the night and we all had a great time finding the various range of cache hides and types. We did a fair bit of walking / hiking during the latter part of the night, especially around the Werribee Gorge, which we found to be extremely challenging and well worth the effort.
We walked and completed this short series of caches tonight. We had fun looking for and finding each cache as we made our way around the tracks. Thanks sorceysal.

This was, cache # 54 of 58 finds for the Day/Night on another big run for the TDC, once again we had lots of laughs, saw some great places and some excellent caches. A great night was had by all. No one around at this time of night so we had a nice quick find. My thanks to sorceysal for the cache.
A good walk, achievable nice sized caches that are larger than a wart on a paramecium...a favourite for the series from me....a couple of additional caches would have been even nicer. Thank you sorceysal,
Featherdown was waiting for me here but I had not been away all that long as I had jogged most of the way. Cool slightly humid morning, sweating profusely. Found a few hidden like this before. Added featherdown's name for the first time today.
Thanks for the series of caches.
