Logs
Disappointing to see a cache in a nice spot like this archived because it needs a new log. Looks like it is regularly visited so don't really understand the reason given. Besides, you will have to visit anyway to collect the container so it does not become geo-junk, right?
Out for a walk today with Mrs gonefishing. Very pleasant stroll, and a very quick find here. It must be a couple of years since I was donwn here last looking for a cache.
Log is full.

Dog needed a walk and I needed a cache so this fitted the bill. Plenty of people on the track today. Straight forward find. Log book is full but managed to squeeze in at the bottom. Thanks for the cache.
Found it. Log book very full, but found a space. Very busy track today. Lots of people about including other catchers.
Nice concise clue quickly led us to the cache.. well it would have if I had read if carefully but luckily DjaliDjinn found it anyway..
I was exhausted after a crazy cross-country excursion in search of another cache (DNF) so I had a cursory search at GZ then flopped down to rest while Yosser9 took over the hunt. Best thing I ever did!* The cache was right there A lovely walk and a smiley to boot! Tftc.

I found my very first geocache just over two years ago on a clockwise loop from home to Cornish Street, Korokoro Dam, Oakleigh Street and back home again. This wasn't published at the time (and I don't think I would have thought to look for it). Today I did the same loop except in the other direction to finish picking up the Korokoro Valley caches. TFTC
Out on a walk today stretching the legs.
Really enjoyed the walk down to the dam. A really pretty area.
Thanks tmann421 for bringing me here and TFTC

Found it! Last time I tried I didn't read the clue, and my old GPS went a bit haywire, but this time no problems. Might need a new log soon?
Tftc!
Nothing quite as frustrating as a constant stream of runners from the local harriers club to disrupt ones caching run!

Find #1990. A day catching up on caches in the Korokoro area on a cool, damp day. Amazing how busy this area is even in such weather - millions of muggles and muggle pooches. Quick find. SL TFTC
A quick find on the way back up the hill after visiting a few caches down the bottom. Really nice area in here and good bridges/walkways. TFTC !
Pleasant morning's amble to the cache site. Didn't meet a soul. In view of comments for next cache on circuit did a 180. Will return with &Co in the spring/summer.
Beautiful spot: I've never been here before. Dodgy reception meant I checked every hint object on the way down. Finally got there after narrowly avoiding being muggled. TFTC
Decided the weather was too nice not to head out towards the hills. Glad to find this one quickly between groups of Muggles as I DNF'd the two caches further along the track. Nice walk though.
Cache # 1,651 - a nice lunchtime stroll with DownUnder Wanderer through the fog of the hills. Lovely walk, and easy find. Dropped off a TB. TFTC!
[green] Down visiting my sister in Wellington and it turns out the kids have a teacher's only day. As they are not teachers, they get the day off. So we all headed off to walk to Korokoro dam as something to do. Nice, perfect walking day. Cloudy, cool. We get to the dam but I could not find the cache there. (Actually, I think I know where it is, just didn't want to get it), so master 7 and I headed off to find this one, while mum and miss 9 rested at the dam. Like the fool of a Took that I am I forgot to drop off a trackable here . Carrying too many of them, got most from this cache's owner!
Day 168 - The trouble with keeping a streak going is that some days you find yourself heading down the same track as yesterday. Especially when you have just realised Daylight Saving ends on Sunday and those caches you were saving for after work would be in the dark next week. At least its another beautiful Wellington day. TFTC.
Took our Japanese student for a walk and introduced him to caching on the way. Grabbed TB. TFTC
Went walking today with Kev the Kiwi to the dam, set GPS going and it led us close to where the the cache was, luckily the hint gave us a clue of where the cache actually was. Dropped off a trackable to the cache as well.
Found it with Brocktk, it was a nice resting place for my little legs on the way up the loop.
Out for a loop walk, this was the last cache found. Needed the hint as the GPS was not being cooperative. Mrs SoBad with her sister - and neither of us had a pen here as the one we started with was dropped somewhere on the track. A photo has been taken of the log, the CO notified and we hope that will suffice. Really nice walk - and we recommend the loop, as, although longer, the bush on the otherside is also great.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks to the Co for accepting our situation. We may well do the walk again on another visit to the area and will sign then as it is a recommended track.

Nice quick find today. I really like the track too, its in very good condition. TFTC
A pleasant spot I always enjoy coming to, thanks for giving me a reason to come here. #5650
Forgot to take a pen with us so didn't mark the log. Nice night for a walk in the bush.
Got Mrs 1Grunta to drop me at the top of the track and walked down to Cornish St.
Nice quick find due to the excellent hint.

Quick find, and first find of the day on a wet Sunday afternoon walk with the geo-sons. Couldn't ask for a better 3-hr walk on a rainy day, just love the Korokoro Valley.

Just a revisit to pass the time. Horrible motorbikes who said that they could bike here tho. To small to fit my trackable in though, so I put it strawberry patch
While doing some maintenance on another cache in the area, I got this one on the walk out of the park.

I have been here a few times before but the track seems to have been upgraded since my last visit. I quickly found the cache which is in a very good hiding place.
I am surprised that so few people have found this cache. It is a terrific place for a walk.

Nice spot of native bush and easy walking track to this one. We completed the 'loop' and visited another cache down near the dam. All in all worth the visit indeed and a new spot for us.
Cache find was straightforward, all in order, log signed and safely re-hidden. All done with pauses between walking, running and biking muggles who were out and about enjoying the warm and sunny late afternoon.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

#3734. A nice walk down the track. Quick find. Had to wait a minute to replace, while a couple of walkers went past. Otherwise quiet at GZ. TNLNSL. TFTC.
A rather surprising 3TF. A relatively easy walk and as mentioned by the CO an excellent track. Just as I arrived there was the sound of someone approaching, turned out to be a heavy footed jogger. It was fortunate he made such a noise as otherwise I could have been muggled just as I grabbed the cache. An easy find, glad this one was here as I couldn't find the one at the falls. Never been down to them before so thanks for bringing me here and TFTC.
With three new unfound caches in the area, it was worth coming here for a walk this morning on a perfect Wellington day. This was the first time I had done the loop walk and I was surprised just how enjoyable it was, I started at Oakleigh Street, went to the Korokoro dam, then to Baked Beans Bend, and finally to the Belmont Trig before completing the loop back to the start. This was the first of the three caches, a quick find in the first place I put my hand. Signed log, TFTC and for giving me the excuse to come here!
We spotted this cache about 30 mins after it was published, when we returned home after an afternoon out and about so decided it would make a good postprandial outing tonight and thus be a FDF for one of the papers for the Doctorate.
It was a very pleasant walk, no wind and nicely cool after a warm day. We managed to miss the cache on the first pass (it was pretty much where we started our search) and only got it on the second, despite the co-ords being spot on. Very surprised to find a blank log a whole 2 and a half hours after publication. Where are the usual suspects?
I hope another cache here will encourage more people down to the dam as it's well worth a visit.

#4807 (FTF #98). We thought we'd finished our caching for the day, but it was a nice evening for a walk, and the FTF was a nice bonus. Third time down this track; first time we didn't go all the way to the dam. Nicely tucked away. TFTC.
