Travelling across from Edithburgh to Warooka and stopped along the main drag to find these caches, dog was loving it as we kept stopping and she got to get out and have a good sniff, apparently everything must smell a lot different than home.Managed to sign the log carefully, replaced carefully also. Thanks Vulturistic for placing the cache.
We found it and it took 1 minute as per the 5yr old.

I have come over from NZ to visit family and do a lot of caching. I am now on the Yorke Peninsula doing the trails and other caches close by. Have been out here before but there are lots of new caches now. Time to change camp so not as many today. Had a few aims for this trip.
Good find on our honeymoon but was soaking wet, put back together and put back, needs to be replaced TFTC
A couple of hours caching towards and in Yorketown.
This was our first stop. It looks like an animal had opened and chewed the ziplock bag here?? We found the lid nearby in the long grass, replaced the ziplock, signed the log and returned to GZ.
Many thanks for the hide Vulturistic

A very chilly and wet day out caching with iluvtrekking. After doing the Gone Fishin series we collected others along the route. Thanks for the hide.
I’ve no idea what this cache is supposed to represent, but it was on our way back from doing another 90 of the Gone Fishn’ Series this morning so feathertop stopped to add our name to it.
Thanks Vulturistic.
Thanks Vulturistic.
Many thanks for this cache which Cybergran and I found on our way to Yorketown.

Thought we would come & check this Cache as nearly 12 months since logged as DNF. No luck searched high & low both sides of the road, so decided to leave a Replacement Cache & Log with a few swaps. TFTC TNSL hope this is O.K. with C.O. Thanks for bringing us here.
Replaced this with CherryRose after looking thoroughly on both sides of the road. Had not been found for 12 months and we’ve replaced in obvious spot. Hope this is all okay with CO signed new log.
A quick stop here today. The cache was easily found and Is all good but the co ords are on the wrong side of the road
A quick overnight trip to the Yorkes for 1.5 days of solid caching. I did a bit of the geoart by myself before meeting up with Davidwazza for a majority of the day caching around Innes National Park. With an event in the evening in Edithburgh headed over there before going for a nice walk along the water front for the evening. Day 2 I made my way from Edithburgh along the coast line and back home by lunch time. A total of 169 caches for the trip.
Thanks for the cache

All logs today were stamped as " Mystery Randoms ". The team was sir_spectre, mogni, allister w, Aussie M & M, JJ52 and Gizmo Gang.
Yesterday was mogni's last calendar day to fill with 10 in every day. We completed the whole geo art in one day. So today was slowly going back home with only the Anna Tommy geo art planned. A casual pace was set for the return home.

We have a small team travelling to The Yorke Peninsula from Canberra. It was decided by the group before we left that our team name would be DTY, although I act like the boss, I rarely am and so the initials actually stand for - dty73, Tankengine & Youban.
Admittedly we came for the power trails to make up some of our statistics, but we also wanted to check out some of the traditionals as well. This was obviously one of those we wanted to pick up.
I can now say I have bin ere and done that. Although a quick find was made there is a hole in the bottom of the container. I will try to remember to log a needs maintenance when I return home. Tftc Vulturistic!!!

Found as part of My Annual leave SA adventure, I had a great time touring the Yorke Peninsula and other areas of the state. This was My last day on the Gone Fisin trail, I sure was glad to get it finished and go look around a few towns, I was a bit over looking at wheat and canola. Thanks Vulturistic (F=470 H=13) for the cache.
Yorke Peninsula Day 3: A small break for power trails (after a quick 60 caches from the fishing line...). Then we collected caches around the Yorketown and Edithburgh area and in the Innes National Park. Some spectacular scenery to take in, strong winds to battle on top of cliffs, and another exhausting day. Signed as SWAG-JJ. TFTC!
Travelling down from Queensland with my fellow cachers Snickersallan, Waz and Vik, Ardom, Gcoven and JooJoo57. We have planned a week long adventure to collect all the geoart, the fishing line and anything else we can get. Thanks for the cache!
Day 3: A bit of a slower day today, did a smidge of the powertrail, a swag of traditionals and a few other randoms along the way.

Before attending the Red Centre Experience event in Alice Springs we're spending 5 days in SA mainly around the Yorke Peninsular. Appreciated the variety of containers and places they were hidden - it certainly brought us to places we certainly wouldn't have stopped at. many thanks to all the COs for your time and effort in the placement of your caches.
After two days of geoart we are having a sightseeing and caching run around the middle section of Yorke Peninsular.

An easy find on what became a day of caching in the rain, in the good company of fellow Geelong cachers Suscoe. After three days of geo-art, conventional caches were a pleasant change.

Suscoe and Phetlern headed out today for an adventure across the foot of the Yorke.
It was quite a wet day really with steady rain for much of the day.
We found lots of caches as we wandered the back roads of this area.
The countryside was green and the crops were looking good.
Thanks to Vulturistic for this cache,

First we must appologise for the generic logs.
We have been caching here for a week now and have been fortunate not to harm any animals or have them harm us.
We came to Yorke Peninsular with Speedmistress who hails from Queensland to cache our little hearts out and this we are doing.
We solved loads of puzzles prior to coming and with all the earth, multi, trads and puzzles there are here we were never lacking in variety.
When we found caches that needed repair we have done our best to do what was possible, unfortunately we have now rum out of spare containers, so no more repairs can be done. We have enjoyed the scenery, the walks, the animal life and the challenges that was encountered while traveling the Peninsular. Not all the caches have been attempted due to time restraints but those have been earmarked for future visits.
We also would like to thank Speedmistress for supplying our geocaching chariot.
A huge thanks to all the cache owners for placing these caches for us to enjoy.

On this occassion, I am doing a generic log. I have travelled from Queensland to meet up with Muff1 for a Geocaching extravaganza on the beautiful Yorke Peninsular. Our goal to Cache, Cache and Cache. Each day our "finds" have been growing in number, some days more productive then others. We have also been careful to take time to appreciate the natural wonder of the areas we have visited. The variety of caches was interesting, some very clever, some the quick grab they were designed to be. A big thank you to all of the dedicated Cache placers who have made this possible.
Easter Weekend - Yorke Peninsular - 3000kms - 640 caches - 4000 cache milestone.
After discussions with Gonefishen07 and Bounty Trackers a plan was hatched to visit the Yorke Peninsular to tackle the fish geo art over Easter. We set out Thursday lunchtime heading to Bordertown, a side trip to Minyip to check out Coopers Crossing was made. Friday we turned off at Murray Bridge and headed to Gawlar to check out Gawlar's Fort Knox, we had lunch at Port Wakefield before heading down to Marion Bay to meet everyone. The group Geo Nerds comprise of Gonefishen07, Zobo04, Bounty Trackers, KTCvic, de ja vu, Velocachu and BorisB&Natasha. We cached locally on Friday afternoon and hit the powertrails in earnest on Saturday where we finished on Sunday lunchtime. We then visited a number of caches on the coast to see some magnificent views. Monday saw us depart Marion Bay heading up to Balranald through Renmark grabbing a cache in three states in one day! A detour to Tocumwal then the drive back to Melbourne saw a fantastic weekend end. Thank you to Leesa, Zoe, Ash, Rob, Kate and Sioux for the fun, frivolity and friendship that made the weekend so great!
Sunday we completed the remaining Fish Tales series and completed the Boat as well. During the Boat Gonefishen07 completed her 4000th cache find milestone, something we achieved 10 caches later. After the power trails were completed we headed west to grab a few caches near the lighthouse and to take in the views before heading to Brentwood to visit the old cemetery (a must do).
Quick find in a nice quiet area. Surprised to hear previous finders had to resort to a PAF (snigger snigger) that happens when you have a girls look!!!
Thank you for all the placers and cache owners we had a fantastic time!!!

Our third and final caching day on the Yorke Peninsula. After our massive day yesterday we were able to enjoy some sight seeing in the afternoon and 2 milestones of 4000 were also achieved. Cache logs were signed as Geo Nerds, (Bounty Trackers, KTCVic, Gonefishen07, Boris&Natasha, Velocachu & Zobo04). Thanks for placing this cache.
Found with Zobo04, Borisb&Natasha and Bounty Trackers. Heading on our way to The York Peninsula for Easter and to catch up with the rest of our group. Sorry for the late logs life sometimes has an uncanny way of getting in the way. I was busy trying to get in front of KTCvic whom we are meeting up with. So lets get as many caches as we can along the way so for 5 minutes I will have more finds. Nothing like a little friendly competition. Thanks for making our trip fun and TFTC

Geo Nerds Yorke Peninsula caching exposition consist of Borisb&Natasha, Zobo04,De Ja Vu, KTCvic, Gonefishen07, Velocachu & Bounty Trackers.
Gonefishen07, Zobo04, Borisb&Natasha and myself Bounty Trackers left on Wednesday morning with one objective, to get Gonefishen07 cache finding count higher than KTCvic who was about 100 cache in front. We spent 2 days straight chasing caches all the way from Gippsland in Victoria to The York Peninsula in SA, where we finally got 8 caches ahead of KTCvic. The smile on Gonefishen face said it all ( I think the comment was made CATCH ME NOW Trenty ).
Along our journey we made a side trip to Gawler to get the multi Fort Knox cache which was on our hit list. What a brilliant cache. Well worth the detour. It will be getting a favorite point from me.
On Friday Velocachu, KTCvic & De Ja Vu graced us with there presence and it was time to start the Yorke Peninsula Geo Art Starting at Hook then Jellyfish, Fish, Anchor, some of Fish Tales,Sammy Starfish and most of the Boat, we then did Sally starfish, and the rest of Fish Tales and then finished with the leftover boat.
Milestone achieved
Velocachu 500
Zobo04 2000
Borisb&Natasha 2000
De Ja Vu 3000
KTCvic 4000
Gonefishen07 4000

A BIG THANKYOU to Kate,Rob,Sioux,Katy,Trent,Leesa,Campbell & Zoe for a fun filled Easter long weekend, I had a great time with lots of laughs, thanks again.

I have never cached outside of Victoria, nor in a group and I was really looking forward to it.
Every single one of us achieved a very memorable milestone made even more special because they were achieved with very special friends.
Thank you so much to the many COs for the time and effort in placing their caches. I'm sure it enables many groups like ours to get together, have lots and lots of fun and form life long friendships, all in the quest for little pieces of treasure.

Hi there Vulturistic. We found your cache **"Bin Ere Done a Hoppy."** at 1:05:00 PM today.
This was our 78th cache find in a caching run of 78 Finds & 1 DNFs today. (So this now makes our find count 13461.)
Day 5 of our attempt to clean up the Geo-Art on the Yorke Peninsula.
Our plan today was to complete the "Boat" and "Sammy Starfish" series, but we also had to find this one. It's not part of the series so it deserves a finely crafted log, not one of the crappy cut-n-paste ones that usually are associated with power trails.
###Thanks for not placing an eclipse tin or a 200ml Sistema here. Once upon a time caches seemed to be "regular" sized, and well stocked with goodies for kids to swap. Nowadays it seems like every other cache is small and devoid anything to induce children to enjoy the hunt. It made us feel really good to find this cache in a "special" place.###
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache exactly where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The cache container and log book are in good condition.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A smiley badge & a supermarket card thingy.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.
