Logs
Not sure why this one has been archived? Using torchlight in the very early morning, and walking around as per the clue, I saw the container quickly and exactly as per the GPS. Signed the log and continued on my way to the V8's as an official of the meeting. TFTC josh 991
2nd cache for me...yeppi! Nice camo....luckly got there on low tide. Thanks again and looking for some more... p.s. log needs maintenance
10:14:00 AM. Nearly a driveby form the Officeworks side now. Nice and quiet around here and the better half came up with the cache. Log signed and returned. Thanks josh_991 for placing this cache.
Quick easy find while taking pooch for a stroll. Log full, didn’t have a replacement with me this time. Took coin, left fairy. TFTC.
Hi there josh_991. We found your cache "RRPT- Beware pneumatophores" at 8:45:00 AM today.
This was our 7th cache find in a caching run of 12 Finds & 0 DNFs today. (So this now makes our find count 9817.)
[Blue]
We are trying to log at least one cache every day, so we can add to our streak of "Most Consecutive Days Cached", which we started on New Years Day 2014. Our route today took us to some really wonderful & scenic locations.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stroll to GZ today. [/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: Container is in good shape The log is full. Unfortunately we didn't have anything to replace it with..
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Another great spot. Little worried about trolls but ok in the end. Log is almost full. Thank you very much.
Eventually found this with some aerogard on and with geo-dog Schamie. TNLN TFTC
First day of holidays for geoD and, with geoP still at work, he was flying solo organising a dinner suit for this weekend's dinner at the RSL. Picked the nearest cache in the GPSr and let it guide him to the cache which, as usual, meant the nearest pint navigable by road. This had him parked on the wrong side of a creek line that was still damp in the bottom. Had it been a different time of the day he can imagine the tide stopping his access from this point.
Ignoring the Plovers he wandered over to GZ and began the search, quickly resorted to the first log and rapidly had the cache in hand.
A pleasant afternoon for a stroll and a cache.

Quick find as coords are spot on by me. No one around late in the afternoon as the sun sets , nice time to cache up here. TFTC
Find number 39 of 39 on our cityside RRPT caching day! 41.6km over 7 hours. Many thanks to ICP for lending us their bikes [^].
And the last cache for us today! Woohoo, tired and excited to be nearing home and a well-deserved shower! I assumed the wrong type of pneumatophore and it only clicked just now thanks to the omniscient google . Was wondering what blue bottles would be doing up here... The log is getting full on this one too. Sorry again.
Thanks josh_991

Our first find for the day. This end of the PT sure is a lot more open and dry than the other end. Sure are a lot of trolls in Townsville.

Google - pneumatophore (so I am aware of them). Answer - hmmmm interesting. Saw plenty of them but they didnt look like they were about to attack (lols) - maybe it was the spectacular weather we are having in Townsville at the moment?? TFTC TNLN.
Day three caching with pprass.
We decided to do the town area, as we thought there would be a few less muggles.
Another easy find.
Thanks for the cache, josh_991.

Found at 11:55 AM in the company of The Drovers GAFF1. We bravely walked in not knowing what we had to be beware of - sometimes it is best not to know what is there [:o)].
Odd that the container has remained there without any attachment.
Thanks josh_991.

#314 fourth for the day, and it was still raining. nice cache...
I came over to this one from RRPT Tree Grove, as my sisters had an art class at Entropy in the Hyde Park Centre nearby. I walked from the carpark, and after deciding against crossing the canal to get to the Paintings in Townsville cache there, ended up here. I searched for a while for this one. I knew how to find it, and it was only about ten minutes before i found it. I got it out and went to sign it, and then realized i had forgotten my pen. No problem, I just borrowed the pencil from my unhidden cache that is in my bag. Signed the back of the What is Geocaching paper, and then found the log, so signed that too Replaced and headed off for the next one.
Thanks for the cache josh_991! TBs enjoyed their visit...

Looking where I thought gz was, then my GPSr changed its mind and I got it. TFTC.
Starting to get light. Early morning and muggles are starting to stir. Didnt spend muc time here. but will do so next time around
We parked as short walk away from the GZ. Only one or two muggles out exercising various animals to content with while we explored the structure.
After a brief search, where the angle of view seemed to be most important, the cache container was spotted.
With the log signed, we were off to continue our RRPT experience. Thanks heaps Josh 991.

Nice easy find on this morning's geocycle around Townsville, once the dog walking muggle had left.

Got a new GPSr for Xmas so thought I'd hit this side of town and find a few caches and work through the new system. The terrain today is a little more forgiving than the mountains near Cairns that I did yesterday.
Cache located quite easily thanks to my geoferals.

Another morning and another Cache and another stroll along the creek. Cache sighed and returned. Cheers.
My old friends the pneumatophores!
Continued my evening walk along the power trail as sunset approached. This one wasn't too hard once I got in position to spot it. Signed and replaced.
Thanks!
