Couldn't find it, this was the third time we came back to try and finally tick it off the list but no luck. GPS brought us to GZ and we searched along water and nearby areas but all we found was the mean ants but no cache.
I started look way to close to the river, so made this one harder than it should have been but had the cache in hand doom enough! TFTC
Find number 38 of 39 on our cityside RRPT caching day! 41.6km over 7 hours. Many thanks to ICP for lending us their bikes [^].
A quick find and we were on the home stretch!
Thanks josh_991

Not thirsty enough at the start (that came later) so didn't mind it being not potable today.

What a lovely day to go caching in Townsville, a little warm but not too hot and not too humid. TFTC. TNLN.
Found with SommerVilles. Almost found by 10 year old. H found after brushing aside the wildlife.

North Qld 2013. Day 11, the Third full day in Townsville. Today was the second day of Ross River Power Trail caches. A fair bit hotter today. After setting my bike up, I set out and visited a large range of caches along the river. It was a good range of caches some easy, some hard. I did not do them all but enjoyed everything I managed. Thanks.

Day three caching with pprass.
We decided to do the town area, as we thought there would be a few less muggles.
Another easy find.
Thanks for the cache, josh_991.

Found at 12:00 PM in the company of The Drovers GAFF1. Love to know what the origins of "potable" is. We see it on signs in toilets and parks and wonder what the tourists nd backpackers from o/s must think?
Thanks josh_991.
Thanks josh_991.
#315 a nice quick find as I worked my way down this part of the RRPT
I came over to this one from Beware Pneumatophores. I was soon nearing GZ and I think it was starting to rain a bit harder. I found it in like 20 seconds, as there was only really one place it could be. No ants around at all, so I had the log signed and the cache replaced in not such a long time at all. This was a pretty easy cache.
I was on a pretty good caching roll for the day(according to my standards anyway) as this was my 5th find....
Thanks for the cache josh_991! TBs enjoyed their short visit.

Found it. Still at GZ though moved slightly. Josh kindly relocated the man eating ants to the river.
Found this one as the last hunt for the day. Didnt have a pen with me so I'll come back and sign it at a later stage. TFTC
Only a short walk along the concrete path and we arrived at the GZ.
The pressure was on for a quick find as a muggle walking a dog was spotted headed our way.
A few possible hiding spots were examined before we had the cache container in-hand.
Log signed and we were on our way with a smile and good morning acknowledgement to the dog walking muggle.
Thanks Josh 991. Only eight more RRPT caches to find.

Finally beat the Geobillylid to one today. Found the cache by finding the ants, bit of reverse logic there. TFTC
Very large unpleasant ants at GZ did manage to find and replace cache without being bitten.
The nearby water wasn't potable, but the enormous ants at this one certainly thought I was edible. Quickly signed log and replaced container, all whilst doing the ants in the pants dance.

Got a new GPSr for Xmas so thought I'd hit this side of town and find a few caches and work through the new system. The terrain today is a little more forgiving than the mountains near Cairns that I did yesterday.
Cache located quite easily thanks to my geoferals.
TNLN.
TFTC.
Keep the caches coming Josh. Glad to see a new cache placer in town.

Out for our early morning walk with the dog and a Cache. There are many places to hide a small container but it was able to be found without to much searching. We would have thought that this type of container was classed as a micro. Cheers.
Headed further down the mini power trail and this one was where I thought it had been. The Mastotermes darwiniensis had done their job some time in the past! Removed, signed and replaced.
Thanks!
Thanks!
