Had a look in the all troll places and surrounds. Pretty sure this one is gone. I don't think the CO is active any more as most of his caches are being archived.
Checked all the typical places but no find. Perhaps muggled. Notice some chocolate foil that was not from a troll. I'll be watching the logs on this one for another attack.
Today we were targeting caches in the West Pymble area, setting out after lunch to continue our "mini" streak, fill yet another calendar gap, and to generally add to our cache "found" tally.
No luck for us today at this one. Looked all around GZ but came up empty handed.

Today I was around the university on caching. This was my 9th found today.
That was a quick found.

Luckily the trolls were on strike today and left the cache unguarded. None of the listed TBs here but did discovered an unlisted one. TNLN. TFTC

Trip trap, trip trap. Thanks for the cache. We couldn't help the resident TB on its way, so left it for the next beer lover who comes along.
Found the cache completely vacant of any boarding travel bugs. I left a beer tb, which wants to visit beer gardens. The bowling club is close enough.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Thankfully this was a nice, quick find right where I expected it to be at 12:50.
TNLNSL. Thanks Wakko Akos.
PS: As I sort of expected, there was no sign of any of the 1970's Boss Mustang, Chales & Diana pink ribbon, Jake's World Marble, Noaberevent Geocoin or Bells Angels/Santa Christmas Plunge trackables in the cache. {:(!] The CO of the cache that a trackable listed as being in is able to mark it as missing by going to its listing and completing that action. Maybe it's time to do so for these ones.

Found at 12:41pm.
This was my second visit to this cache after going on a rampage of caches in West Pymble and a few around Killara as well.
The first search back in May proved to be unsuccessful but I ultimately found out that the cache had indeed been MIA which I suspected given the nature of the area at GZ. There wouldn't be too many places to conceal it and the obvious spot (to me anyway) revealed nothing.
Today was a different story and I knew exactly where to go. Within a few seconds I had CIH and proceeded to sign the log which gave me great pleasure.
Thanks for the cache Wakko Akos

Was much easier this second time round. I can't believe you found it in the river!? Some kids came as I was making the find so I had to pretend to be a troll.
Streak day #264 - I survived another Monday of work. Yay. Now it is time for ice skating. Tonight, as with last week, I will be doing my figure skating followed by a casual game of hockey. By the time the hockey is over it is too close to midnight to find a cache which means finding one along the way. This week I decided to give this cache a go. I missed the turn off at first, but luckily I was able to turn around at the next street. Driving in to the park I was surprised to see so much there. I have gotten a few caches in the area, but none this far in. There is a bowling club and an aquatic centre. Parking next to the pool it was a short walk towards the GZ. After reading the hint I knew exactly where to start looking, but I had to wait for some muggles to pass before I could get into the correct spot. There seemed to be a lot of muggles coming and going with their children in tow. I think a nearby class must have just finished. Once as the right level I was able to make a quick find. I was disappointed to find no trackables, but I signed the log and put the cache back as I found it ready to receive more trackables. TFTC. Time to skate.
I had some spare time this morning before my work commitments commenced so I decided to go for a bit of a walkabout in this area. Last cache for me this morning. Time to walk back to the station and head to work. TFTC, Biggles.
Glad someone went to the effort to return this one - nice find for us! Left a few little swappable toys. Tftc
Found very easily. Glad to see it is back where it belongs not having a dip in lane cove river
Another cache that we had a DNF on.
After reading the recent story, we headed back and made the quick find.
Last time we looked the cache was definitely not there as we checked that place many times.
There was only one TB in the cache which we left for someone else to take.

Found on my visit to Australia.
A bit of a scramble to get the cache, but a quick retrieval. A good cache to have on a warm afternoon. TFTC

With a mystery cache in Strathfield requiring a minimum of 100 movements of trackables, geo coins, bugs, the like, I headed here to log six TB's and was surprised to find five missing. So Dropped off bear, took Dragonfly TB, thanks W.A
Found by Jack pirate (aged four) who says i really like your place where you have hidden it, and this is the second i have found already today.

Out and about on a geotour of west Pymble with Opa-Shrek and GeoJorjy today, I was surprised to see a TB hotel pop up when I had just dropped one on the other side of the park thinking I might not see another regular! Oh well - we came upon GZ, it all making sense how this may have ended up in the river after the decent storms a few months back, so I'm appreciative Jilloh for spotting, retrieving, working out where it came from and getting it back in place for us to find
Finding a sole Geocoin inside, Opa-Shrek swapped it out for a TB and we headed off on our way.
Thanks for another decent sized cache around here Wakko Akkos

It was nice to come across this TB Hotel during our geo-tour of Wakko Land today ... particularly when we noted that it had recently come back from the dead after being found floating in the Lane Cove River!
A straightforward find ... I took the opportunity to drop off a TB (Dragon Fly) that had been with me for a few weeks, and to pick up the only trackable we found in the cache, an Australian Flag Micro Geocoin. All the others trackables listed in the inventory are missing ... and perhaps should be recorded as such by the CO.
Thanks very much for this cache, Wakko, and for the smiley.

It was nice to finally get this one done. It was one of my closest unfound caches and has been bugging me for ages. Thanks for replacing the cache.
Put the cache back after finding it in Lane Cove River. All dried off and with new logbook.
I found this cache today floating down the Lane Cove River, from my kayak, several Kms away from its home. It's waterlogged, so I'll replace the notepad and try to put back in its correct location in the next week or so. Just contained one trackable, which allowed me to work out which cache it was
Looked for this one with the geo-kids during a bike mounted, post 15 year anniversary of Aussie caching event assault on a few West Pymble caches. Alas, no joy for us even after the geo-son did his best troll impersonation. We will be back once we see its been found again
Searched for this for over 30mins which means we passed the 'fun or frustration' threshold. Sorry. You hid it too well. But the new bridge seems pretty sturdy.
Perhaps if your not going to replace it you could at least take it offline. Frustrating for people visiting to make the trek and find it missing then read the logs.
Be back up and running soon, sorry for the long wait, I have alot of assessments for school at the moment.
Stay Tuned
Thanks

Pool is open and there is no construction around the bridge. Cache needs to be either replaced or archived.
Can I suggest you take this offline until replaced so that it does not show up in pocket queries? Cheers w6r
Hi Everyone, Yes thank you for pointing this out to me as the bridge is currently under repair getting ready for the grand opening of the New West Pymble Swimming pool opening in October. This cache will be replaced one the bridge is finished and unfortunately, the cache has been either trapped behind a rock or squashed because of the bridge maintenance. Will keep you all posted.
Thanks

A new replacement for this cache will be put out very shortly please, stay tuned.
Sorry for the wait.
Sorry for the wait.
Given that the bridge is closed with some work being done on and near it and noone has seen it for some time, the cache might need archiving until the works are completed.
I like this park, I will be back once works are done. Had a look for 5 mins, but wasnt too hopeful given the logs and the big sign saying bridge closed.
Despite our best efforts, The Rats, steeba and I could not turn up this cache during our tour of the Northern Beaches.
We searched here. And searched. And searched. We really did not want to let this one beat us. However, sadly, beating us is exactly what this one did.
Cheers

In what should have been a straight forward find, we had no luck locating this one.
Maybe next time

I was sent by the king to retrieve this treasure that had eluded many before me. I fought long and hard but was defeated. I drowned my sorrows in the nearby tavern. I have brought shame upon myself and my family.
Only had a quick look but would assume it'd be a straight forward find. Considering the previous logs, I'd say it's not here anymore.

There were no trackables in the cache. Someone who knows how needs to annotate those listed on the page as gone missing.
Not the first place I looked, but it still didn't take long. I didn't trade for any TBs, but it's still nice to get the smiley and visit yet another troll. Long day caching, with too many DNFs for my ego, but this park helped put things right again. TFTC!
Fee fy fo fum. Only one trackable was found, so I dropped off a new one to help rejuvenate the hotel. TFTC!

12 months later found it!!!!!!!!!!!! Easy find by geosons, I love finding a previous DNF , love the hiding spot. Leaving a trackable
Visiting our Sydney friends pkeew, this TB Hotel was very near where we met for a play. There was one TB inside but as we did not have one to leave, we had to leave it there. Great spot for a TB Hotel. Took us a few minutes as the cache blended in with its dark environment. Caching with Tomstache too.
todays finds 3 of 9
