Out and about with IolantheK on a Whacky Wednesday. We had met up in Fig Tree Pocket along with T-Tech to do a stage of a rather evil puzzle. After the obligatory coffee and cake we were now chasing down the few caches we both had not done in the area.
We were doing a nearby multi and had to walk by this one. IolantheK let me stop to hunt. Hmm, not there and not there either. IolantheK looked at the picture she had form when she found it, and it was where I had been looking. We both had another look just in case, but no luck.

Couldn't see this one anywhere. Signs of flooding - grass and sticks caught under the bridge so maybe it's washed away?
As we were heading to Kenmore to attend an event, we picked up some caches on the way.
We saw one large lizard, lounging in the sun. Cache was found quickly, but log is very wet.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Blackspades, for us and others to find.

Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga2 at 11:05am. The cache was found quickly after chasing all the lizards away. TFTC
Geo Wife & I were up this way picking up a bird cage for our daughter so we couldn't JUST do that and we have only found a few in the area so we had lots to choose from.
Geo Wife wasn't too sure about this cache, when she read the title, so she was on the lookout because she is no a fan of lizards.
Living up to its name as we approached GZ there was a lizard currently in the lounge and I was blessed (not so sure about Geo Wife) when we were metres of GZ we spotted another lounger heading for a free spot.
I can see why there is a lounge here it is such a beautiful outlook we really enjoyed the visit and I enjoyed the lizards!!!
Thanks BlackSpades TFTC SL Favourite Point coming your way.

While doing the multi, I decided to do this cache. Nice easy find in a lovely area. TFTC!
Lovely area, came with geokids and geobubba and were impressed by the lizards and turtles. Tftc.
No lizard was at home but nice bird life around and turtles spotted in the water. Thanks for getting us there through geocaching.
Headed down the path and enjoying the area.
Noone around today.
I think it is too hot for anyone out.
Soon came to GZ and there was a beautiful specimen of the name sitting guarding the cache.
He just moved aside but kept an eye on me telling me I had to put that back when I had finished with it.
I assured him that I would.
All the birds came to check me out such as an eastern swamp hen and bush turkey.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks Blackspades and Geo sapiens All good wiith this cache

Out for the day with Mischievous Maverick. This really was the lizard lounge. We spotted a handful of good sized water dragons and a few turtles. Thank you Blackspades for placing this cache
9 of 22 in today's cache run with Mrs The Green Geckos.
I know why this one is called the Lizard Lounge! We saw several fine looking specimens sunning themselves on the rocks (guarding the cache, too!), on pipes, and even on the walking paths.

Found it. Thanks for bringing us to this lovely healthy waterway. So many turtles and birds.
Was driving past park and decided to see if it was 'muggle free' Joy!! Quick dart in, found cache and out again. TFTC!
Another beautiful park that I never knew existed... tftc... left some Russian coin....
#5 on a perfect roll with Dr_Pepi...again, pleased to say I found this one quite easily - reminiscing the very difficult time I had locating "Gnome Place Like Home" at the Botanic Gardens! Sat on the nearby rocks to fill in the log and along came Mr P Officer who we crossed again several times while on our adventures....no questions asked, log signed and returned TFTC.
Number five is alive! (does that show what era I come from??)
Fifth cache find on a day of epic wanderings with the lovely trin_007. Something a little bit different this time. We were wandering around the bike paths trying not to look suspicious as a police officer went past us two or three times…… obviously we succeeded as he didn't stop us to ask us anything! Thankfully the hint stopped us from swimming in the swampy duck-poo filled water over to the island, and kept us dry on main land. Bit of a search around, and Trin had her hand on just the right thing She got a congratulations lick from a friendly husky who happened to be walking past shortly after.

I have been in Sinnamon Park for a week cleaning up and renovating an investment property. Today is my last day and the first chance I have had to do local caching. This was a great way to explore the local area, there are some many parks. Next time I am up this way I will make the point to explore some more. Anyway, a quick and easy find, TFTC.
Overrun by Muggles this morning. School holidays may not be the best time to search Will be back to try again!
Beautiful lake, lots of bird life, thanks for bringing us to this lovely area. TFTC!
Loved this one! Fed turtles, water dragons, ducks and other assorted birds before grabbing an easy find. TFTC!
Not having been in the area before it was a pleasant surprise to have such a nice easy bikeway to cruise along with some nice views as a bonus. This is a good spot to take a break and check out the wildlife!
No problems with the cache and log - waited for a muggle free moment .

A couple of quick caches before the light dies and I need to go feed my face. Waiting, waiting, waiting .... will these muggles just hurry up and walk off .... finally go in for the search and a thankfully a quick find.

On the hunt for archived caches this one wasn't far away, I'll bring the kids to this one as the love feeding ducks, the lizards were every where what a nice place tftc
Love such a well planned lake system .... Great new found picnic area ... TFTC
If feel like I'm walking through the Stepford Wife's landscape ponds with all type of wild life turtles and amazing lakes and ponds at every bend. Perfect manicure lawns and homes. It's exactly like the movie!
This one had is lying on the bridge looking under. Kestal made the find . A smiley for us! Tftc
Found with angloj after lying all over the bridge. I finally took a squat and said hello to a cache guardian and spied what I was looking TFTC
Easy find. Lovely park. Nice to see lizards lounging on wall. Also terapins in water and ducks on top. Log was dry. Supplied new zip seal bag.
I think we chose a terrible day to attempt this one. White Ghost Raven and I set out during SUPER heavy rainfall and localized flooding brought water levels in the area WAY up. Could find the cache, but that water under the bridge now.
at 13:34 after going back to our car having a picnic lunch and then moving our car to here.
Once again TFTC Geo Sapiens. This cache is also in good order.
(We left the car here while we got 5 more caches. As we got each one we discovered there was another one just a little further along the cycle path.)

Day 30 of the 31 day challenge, with Ed and Barb Bowman, on a day out of caching. This one looked like it may elude us. On another scout around, and after reading the previous logs, Barb soon came up with the cache. TFTC.
out on a day full of fun and caches with Gullivers Travels54
not sure what those 2 boys were doing
sometimes you just have to touch everything

Finally get to tick this one off the list. Have walked past here numerous times, but there have always been muggles around. Had a few moments in the day when I thought it would be muggle-free and took the opportunity. Was rewarded with some time to myself to find this one at last! TFTC!
Out with IolantheK for the day. Nice location, team work to spy and retrieve cache. TFTC
Out and about with karenhippo. We kept walking along the bike path to this one and loved the area around GZ. We each took a side to search, and karenhippo spotted the cache on my side, and directed my hand. TFTC, geo sapiens.
had a fair idea where it was ,lots of muggles so wait my time till coast was clear, grab and head up to the tables to sign the log now sneak back to hide it again TFTC
No lounging lizards to be seen today I do love the random dragon plop into the water. With Net88, Whint and myself all on the hunt, it wasn't long until we had the beastie in hand and signed the log. A lovely little spot for a cache.

Grabbing a few in the area with Net88 & Nyssaflutterby... Nyssa came up with the goods pretty quickly for this one
Upon approaching GZ I realised I recognised the area.... I once had a cache nearby but it kept going missing... hopefully this little lizards lounge life is long lived

Found this cache whilst out for a day of caching with Nyssaflutterby and Whint and Bad Dal. We were so happy that it wasn't raining for once that there was not a chance we were going to miss out on the opportunity to find some caches whilst staying dry. Once we got to GZ we all started looking but Nyssa came up with the cache first.
Thanks for the cache geo sapiens.

Hard to spend time here because of other people around. Will have to come back.
Found on a morning stroll and scoot with MrsAnt24 and the geo kids.

There was no lizards lounging here today, so I just made a little sort of lounge for myself here while I searched for the cache and signed the log. More so because I did not want to look to strange to the mother and kids over yonder near one of the tables.

This park is a favourite with our kids - they love the playground, water birds, and tortoises (though we didn't see any tortoises today).
No evidence of the geocoin.

(I submitted this via my phone yesterday, but it hasn't appeared. Hopefully I won't have a double log now.)

After getting another Cache close by I headed for this one. A lot of bird life watching me but no Muggles. Nice quick find. TFTC.
Left this one at first as there were too many muggles. So I wandered off and did another close by, came back, there were still muggles around, but it wasn't too hard to sit and look like I was enjoying the scenery (which isn't too hard as it is beautiful) spotted a lizard nearby and lots of ducks, reached around, there you are.
You're way too nice. I would have put it on the island for sure!
I was taking a detour on the way to the shops to nab some animals for my alphabet collection. I was behind schedule (being delayed a little by the previous cache) but I stopped myself from rushing so I could enjoy the spot.
The eponymous water monitors were out in force along with all sorts of other fauna and the lake was host to some magnificent lotus flower. (Lucky for my animal collection that you didn't go for 'Blue Lotus Lounge' instead for this cache name. )
After pausing to enjoy the bridge, and wait for the muggles to pass, I jumped down to make the find. All is good at the Lizard Lounge. Didn't spot the traveler though. TFTC Geo Sapiens.

After 2 DNF so far today I was glad to sit here and find this one as well as take in the spot. Now for just one more DNF before I go home
Met some fellow cachers looking for this one too! We thought we were too late but I luckily put my hands on this one first great to meet you guys! Keep up caching!
Thanks for this cache!
Thanks for this cache!
With the help of some very suspicious looking people (that turned out to be geocahers too!) we can log this find. Needs maintenance as I pulled the magnet of the case. Is still functional though!
Found today with BCF88. Met swellafungus and friends who were also looking for the cache.
Replaced with new container - this is a hearing aid magnet - no where near as strong as the last one but should be sufficient - happy hunting
Tried this one about an hour or so ago but there where muggles nearby. Those muggles have moved but others have taken their place. Too close and inquisitive to search properly.
Thanks anyway.
Thanks anyway.
There were a few muggles around on the playground but they were far enough away to not be a problem while I searched.
Luckily I picked the right spot first up and then struggled against the forces to extract the cache. It certainly is powerful.
Signed the log and snapped it back into place.

Don't know why you would be worried about losing this one to the flood, this would be the strongest magnet I've come across yet. Located quickly but then thought I'd made a mistake as it wouldn't come free. Finally managed to pull it off and sign the log. Thanks geo sapiens
YAH, it is still there, although we have removed until the water subsides.

Much better luck this time with only a couple of muggles in the nearby playground. I approached GZ applying the new coords which were much more useful than the last, which wanted me on the nearby island... In position and with a swift movement of my hand, I detected a container. Right, now to get it out... HOLY MOLY, the geosapiens really didn't want this to go anywhere... I nearly broke my wrist trying to get it out... Well, almost... [^]
Name in the log, I tucked things back and headed off. A nice spot that I have enjoyed visiting on a number of occasions...
Cheers geosapiens.

I had big plans for today, but you know how the best laid plans end up with geokids . I feel the need to write a DNF here as I had a quick look/feel but Mr T was so over it at this point that I couldn't conduct a thorough search. I'm sure it's there (since you only put it back yesterday )
We did get a chance to check out the turtles and lizards under the bridge which was cool. And a brief play on the nearby park was enjoyable before the tireds hit critical point.
So we must come back to this spot, lovely park!
Cheers Geosapiens

Just removing cache whilst council workers are clearing/checking/chopping dodgy trees - cache was in surprisingly good order after being flooded
This cache was totally submerged overnight. We went to check out the park this morning (Monday) and the cache was accessible, albeit with a chunk or two of weed backed up against it. The log is okay, but drenched. Pen still works. The horse has already bolted, but I put in a new plastic bag, and will drop in some silica gel later today. The log could probably do with a good dry out... Thanks!
Thanks SgrA* for checking the cache. We are just over the road and grabbed a picture last night of the water over the bridge
The log is on waterproof paper so with a little dry out let's hope it is ok. Will drop by this arvo and check it out. Cheers

DOH, left my run on this one a fraction too late. Muggle central when I got to GZ and no chance of moving in for any type of hunt without looking odd. I'll be back another time for this one... [^]
We'd parked near here before but somehow missed looking for this one - might not have been in the GPSr. Anyway, today we dropped past and were soon zeroing in on GZ. The numbers seemed to point over there - so a quick hop step and a jump and there I was (obviously not the first). After a short search, it was back again and a widened search - and Ms CF soon had the container in hand - our 900th. TFTC.
I am on my way to Brissy, so I left home very early to stop via a few caches on the way in.
Like the previous finders the co-ords are a bit out (over on a near by island I think ) but the cache is an easy find.
