Up early and with a couple of hours before picking up The Seagnoid, time for some local caches.
Parked up in Froude Street after nearly getting stuck at the Polytech?. Snagged and tagged this one while walking along this path. Cheers. Some amazing trees here.
Day 11 - Monday - Rotorua to Dessert Road. The Team is back together and heading south.
The Seagnoid, Zara and I are on another epic caching adventure for the next two weeks, starting with the Wellington Mega, then East Cape, Tauranga, Waihi, Rotorua and back to Wellington. Its been an awesome journey, over 2500 klms later, visiting many amazing places. Thanks to all COs

after reading the logs I thought I would try my luck, as others have confirmed cache is all good and log is fine. thanks for the placement
#2703 Out for an afternoon wander while in town and loved pottering along the stream. Cache was very tricky to spot but got there with some persistence. TFTC!
It's there, so you can enable it, almost ready to give up and I spotted it.
think owner has disabled the wrong cache.

Nice find for the geokid. Icy as air at 5pm with a clear sky. Gonna be a cold night. Tftc.
#2472. We are staying up in Rotorua for a couple of days with family. I had some free time this afternoon so headed off to pick up a few of the local caches. This one was a reasonably quick find once I started looking on the correct side of the path. The log was dry. Signed and returned cache as found. Thanks for the cache.
Last time we were in New Zealand and spend our holiday on the Northern Island – that was fantastic!
We landed in Wellington and from this great town we went through the island – we were near Mt. Taranaki, in the Tongariro Nationalpark, on Lake Taupo, in two Thermal Areas, in Rotorua, on Coromandel Peninsula, on the Bay of Islands, on the Ninety Mile Beach, in the Sand Dunes, on Cape Reinga and in Auckland.
All the time we visited there the main attractions – but we wanted to do our hobby (geocaching), too.
So we looked for the boxes next to the highways and on all the wonderful places of this very nice Island.
Here we could found the box very well, we say thanks to the owner and thanks for the cache.

I've had a lovely time exploring this trail. Quickly located this one and headed home. TFTC
Tricky one. Had to look at a photo and dodge all the muggles driving by. Nice hide spot. TFTC
Enjoying a weekend in Rotorua catching up with friends and family. Out for an early morning walk and finding a few caches along the way. had to wait for a few muggles to go by but once clear cache was soon in hand. This looks like a nice reserve to explore.....thanks for the cache
My 1st ever cache find was very easy and I actually live across the road from it. I was going to put a pen in, but it was too long so when I find a short enough pencil I will go and put in there. Ty Cach Hunter1
I done this Cache during a little walk in the evening.
Nice Spot and perfect weather.

Found on a morning run during my two night work trip to Rotorua. Noted down the clue to a mystery cache, hoping it's still up and running. Easy to find once I read the clue and not many people around on a Saturday morning. TFTC
A nice quick find while on a caching trip around Rotorua for the day. Thanks Cach Hunter1
This was luckily a nice quick find... I could've been scrambling around for a while but thankfully it was the first place I looked. Log book is full so I added another piece of paper. TFTC!
Second cache on a leisurely ride along the river trail. Love the area, wish we had tracks like this at home!
A straight forward find at 1425Hr on 5 Nov 2015. Log is full. Left a 1962 6d.
FIN (laalaa, janahola, temyllyl, kapeka) holiday in New Zealand. I love this country. Wonderful landscape.
Greetings from Finland.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks for the cache.
Found it with Team FIN [janahola, kapeka, laalaa & temyllyl]
We had fun with caching few weeks here in New Zealand. Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was pretty good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and really scenary country!

16th day on our geo-roadtrip in New Zealand, and caching our way towards north. Logged using our group nickname FIN with janahola, laalaa and kapeka. After having a blast in South Island and in Christchurch Mega event, we had to start heading back home. Fortunately we still had few days left to spend in NZ while driving to Auckland.
On a geoholiday road tripping to Christchurch MEGA and around beautiful New Zealand. Our four people group (temyllyl, laalaa, kapeka and myself) from Finland used group tag FIN to log the caches.
Welcome to MEGA Finland in 5-7 august 2016!
Today our trip continued from Taupo to Tauranga. Of course with some caching on the way. We had lots of fun and saw many nice places and caches. Thanks for the cache!

Found on a lovely day in Rotorua while down for swimming champs. TFTC. This kind of paper does not like pencil so had to just about engrave it in the log.
After visiting our daughter in Melbourne and traveled to Sydney we flew on to New Zealand.
We landed in Aukland and rented a car . We typically run on the right side so it was an adventure to drive on the left side.
First night we made in Rotoroua . After a good night's sleep so we went out for a walk with geocaches in sight.
Found this one aswell. Tftc

Quick find in the obvious place. Junior members of the team were excited to be the ones to discover it Probably only enough room for a couple more names on the log book
Late log, my friend looked at the photo and made us find it too fast, next time look at photos as a last resort, but that's how we learn , but the walk was great!
A nice quick find in a logical place.
Weather is starting to turn for the worse, but that means less muggles to deal with!
Cache and log in good condition.
Cheers

Thanks for the easy find. Needed it after a wipe out on the bike! Unfortunately we were without a writing implement so you'll just have to believe us!
Good tip to park on the road to the WPS. Needed the hint to find but that led us straight to it. Then we carried on to the Redwoods for a Sunday morning run. Find #12. Thanks!
17th find here for Philip.Perry and myself.
Parked car and walked down to this one and found quickly thanks to hint.
Signed log and replaced with a bit of natural camo.

I think KmanNZ posted a photo for the previous cache we found - never mind. This one was found just a fast. But I think we're gonna run out of time for the final. Cheers again Cach Hunter1
First time geocaching. Took awhile to find it but the hint made far more sense once we found it! Good one.
