Geocaching with jesswrigley on a nice Autumn day. The plan was a hike around Hale Conservation Park that took a few hours, which was a nice walk seeing mica deposits, a dry waterfall, and views of the surrounds, followed by a stop for afternoon tea at a Kerrsbrook cider place.
I knew this had been archived some years back, but with post finds and us being in the area, I thought I would test our luck. After some looking with jesswrigley and previous research, it looks like this cherries shed has changed from a wooden structure to now steel. I suspect the various construction has disturbed the old cache location and consequently been removed. Cheers anyway.

Popped by last week and the spring grasses are flourishing, will reassess cache placement in a few weeks
The cache hide was in a berry unusual place. If the stand is being used it would be impossible to get without being seen as it is .... well you will have to find it to know.
Found on our Sunday arvo drive through the hills. Wasn't expecting to find it in this position.

An easy cache find when you have a previous finder riding shotgun. No fruit today.

Took advantage of a public holiday to take Mum for a day caching. I haven't had much time lately, so I decided to knock off some of those I've been meaning to do for ages, as well as the Team Lolly ones I heard so much about. Nice of the Cherry people to join in the fun. TFTC
Quick find on the way into Kersbrook to check the mail. Looking forward to the summer cherries!
Almost 2 weeks into my holidays with hardly any caching. I really was crook. [B)] Phoned Mrs. M who said she could spare a couple of hours in the morning so picked her up and off we went. No cherry tasting today - just a cache. Thanks KittyKat
Nowni am craving some fresh cherries - need to make the trek again in the summertime
No berries being sold today. Suck it up.
Thanks to ~*KittyKat*~ and clear skies from TeamAstro.
A drive around on a day off with Go Vans to collect some caches that we never seem to be able to get around to. Thanks for the hide - awesome size!
Out for a drive on Anzac Day to see the countryside that our service men and women are keeping safe.
A very big thank you to them for putting their lives on the line everyday. Dropped off geogecko to continue of its way hopefully back home by december 2013, happy travelling. TFTC

A great family day out today as we had to go to a scout camp, we decided to spend the day caching our way up there. The day saw us get our individual 100th caches and our sister got her 200th cache, other sister got her 100th cache. We saw the chocolate factory and big rocking horse and finally got to camp in time for mum to hurt herself. Thankyou for the cache, we had a great day out.
stumbled across this little cache whilst looking for a little frog... came up empty handed for the frog but was happy to have this in hand SL TFTC
Thought we would pick this one up on our way home from an evening out. A quick find, tnlnsl and a moment to reminisce about the tasty cherries we buy from here every Christmas - YUM! TFTC
Yes on our way to williamstown through Gawler aim for 20 today. Had a great day with some new geocaching friends
First for the day and it's always good to start with a find .
All quiet at 7:00am. TNLNSL.
Thanks ~*KittyKat*~.

This was our actually our 2000th find (although I've logged a couple more before this for the same date, oops!). We wanted to get the milestone on our 2nd anniversary of caching so we waited a day or two to make the find. There were a lot of roadworks right next door to this area today but a quick find and sign was completed and a photo taken. TFTC KittyKat.
I drive past here most weekends to go spend time with my 16yo son.
We buy cherries at Echunga, because we like to "Buy Local", but now I know the guy here is "Cache Friendly" I'll make sure to stop and purchase some next season.
Ingy came out with a Geocaching Australia travelling frog, asking me if that was the cache here. When I reminded her of what these are, she was quickly back with 2 more GA travellers and the actual cache.

I was falling asleep on the way home so this was the perfect pick-me-up! Didn't have the coords so I jetskiied in and parked right next to the cache without spotting it! I was about to drive away when I spotted it out the corner of my eye so I stopped again and swapped out the green jeep TB for a gnome TB and a bunch of GCA moveable caches. There an original MCA, a gnome, a frog and a car so that's about 4 years worth of moveable caches all in one place!
Passing by so checked on container and dropped in a green JEEP TB
Cherry season is over now so muggles won't be a problem ...

It looks like we picked to right time to tackle this one as there was no one in sight as we approached we had a hunch where it would so we approached without GPS help and lucky for us we were right TFTC
Found on the way between home and the swimming championships for the oldest Miss E. Nice hide, not open today thankfully. TFTC
I'm pleased to hear that some great geocachers have had a quick chat with the property owners they are lovely people
Just a heads up that cherry season is coming to a close very soon, so while the cache is available year round, this may be the last week to try out these scrumptious festive berries.
Happy caching,

We called in for some cherries and, of course, a cache Picked up Thong Aims for NZ GC and dropped off 2008 Groundspeak Volunteer GC and USA Flag Micro GC. We had a brief chat with the property owners before heading off to our next find. Took a police car and left a seal (the swimming kind!) TFTC ~*KittyKat*~!
Found with CP on 22nd, but came back and logged it today as I wanted to clean up all my blank spots around Christmas. TFTC

despite muggles everywhere no-one noticed us as all were to intent on their purchases!! Thanks KittyKat for the hide!!
Went for a drive with Arthur and ttrogg many hours after this was published. Who's that? Ahh its locus cache logging a FTF. A silver for us, a chat and on our way. Thanks KittyKat.
Funny, nearly 4 hours after publishing, ttrogg, gadanga and myself drove up in the hills, and who should we run into trying to log a FTF? locus cache of course. Signed our names, gabbed away for a while till locus was called away home. Thanks KittyKat, happy with silver. TFTC
Woohoo! FTF! Woohoo! FTF!
Saw this get published on my way from Adelaide back to work but then I had calls to make, so I didn't leave work until about 6pm.
Left work & then raced to my chiro appointment at Gawler at 6.15pm however I had to wait over an hour, as they were running late.
Finally left chiro, filled up with fuel so that I didn't run out in the boondocks, then started the trek to the cache.
I had a rough idea where in SA this may have been and sure enough, when I did locus cache, I had been right!
What a gorgeous evening, cool and orange and some showers on the way to the cache!
The only thing spoiling the evening was that I was too late to take some Festive Berries home with me as they were closed for the night.
Had SL & replaced cache and was just trying to log this on my mobile when guess who turned up: ttrog, DPA & Gadanga
Took one of the TB's.

Had been far too busy with festive things when this came out.
Finished that, had tea and even spent some time in the second smallest room in the house.
Needed a cache for the day and headed out this way and was surprised to miss FTF by just 10 minutes.
Nice to meet up with locus for a chat.
