Logs
I came to New Zealand with my wife on honeymoon
It is hard to log all the caches, I found here in New Zealand, so excuse my mass log for caches around Orewa, please
At first i started with caches around Estuary Cycleway, then to Red Beach, Hatfield´s Beach, Millwater and Silverdale. Some of the caches are now disabled as i can see, and some of them were disabled, but were on place.
After consulting with owner I made maintanance on some of disabled and missing caches.
I found many really nice caches...it was awesome, but i think, that some of them (for example Bison caches) have too low D/T combos...but owners are really helpful, so I managed to find each of them. I usually borrowed bike from my brother in law and then in the early morning, or in evening went geocaching. I really liked that routine. So I´m really thankful for all the caches on/near Estuary
I need to write here, that I really like nature in NZ...its a big difference between Europe :/
So – TFTC, guys, and especially The Wonder Stuff for placing and G-2 for placing and hints...and sry for mistakes in my poor English...have a nice day(s) there and u should come to find some caches here in Slovak Republic

Heading home from Whangaparoa we found a sneaky park and headed to gz. Cache was quickly located in an obvious spot. TFTC
I walked on from #3 and made a quick find here. The log is very wet but I managed to scrawl my name on it
NZ Travellers have a big milestone in sight and a cache they are aiming for so they need to get their numbers up a bit for the stars to align at the right time. A plan was devised to hit this general area and a bonus of an event today! Weather was foggy when we started but the sun came out and we had a great day!
Amazing this hasn't been found for almost 2 years! All there and still in good condition.
Thanks for the cache.

We are working our way to our milestone 6000th cache find and are planning a trip up north in October to celebrate, therefore a caching day, to get a few numbers, was planned with Keylev and Laval. What started as a foggy and/or cloudy day (we couldn't decide which) turned into a glorious sunny spring day and after caching our way to Long bay for an event, we headed north to get some power caching done!
Had to park in a drive way and MrsNZT made the find here. TFTC!

I came out today to work my way along to the Whangaparaoa Peninsula to clean up several stragglers.
I was all ready to move my Geovan closer to GZ when I realized that I was only 80m from this one. I had to dart across the main road in morning rush hour traffic. This is not for the fainthearted.
Cache was in a good place, but I spotted it right away. TFTC.

Parked up off the extremely busy road by someones driveway. Then I walked a short distance back to the cache, this was spotted immediately upon arrival, seeing this type of cache many times now. Not that I didn't enjoy finding the cache TWS! Thanks for placing.
Out on a caching adventure with tikitour and riser5 to get 100 geocaches for the hidden creature souvenirs. Logging at T18. TFTC
Out for a days caching with Remaker13 and Riser5 - logging as T18. Sorry about the same log...TFTC
Took me 2-3 mins to find but once I did it was fairly obvious. I have even seen this camp before.. duh. Anyway tftc
Sunday morning run to Red Beach for kiwscots SLS lesson. Traffic very heavy , exacerbated by the fact this piece of road is down to one lane heading West due to maintenance. Managed to park off road and wander along. Had a 20 second window to seach and was pleased to come up with the cache. Daily streak nearing 3 years this month. Little did we think we would get this far! TFTC and helping us get there!
Tried to out guess this one and do it quick...mistake when your on the WRONG side of the road...after I believed my gps cache soon to hand...well on the ground actually. container all but gone and log disintegrating quickly because of missing lid...magnet struggled to hold so managed to wedge cache in...needs some tlc...cheers V.
Managed to park briefly near by, and quicky walked to GZ. Cache was spotted on approach, and soon logged before heading on my way. TFTC
Tonight we had a very enjoyable Christmas dinner at the home of one of our daughters who lives in Albany Heights. Afterwards we headed straight home to Whenuapai, with just a "slight" detour to Whangaparaoa to pick up a cache.
Parked in a nearby driveway and walked to GZ where the cache was soon spotted. Signed the temporary log and, Ho Ho Ho.

Log is not just soaking wet, it has turned to mush. I put in a new log in a small plastic bag to survive in the interim. TFTC
Good fast find here thank you TWS!
Sorry to report that the log is soaking wet ....

The last find in this area today, a bit of a reach to get this one, another clever hide
11am - On my way back to Auckland and as we need a couple of caches for today thought I would grab them on the way. Was very surprised that this cache hasn't been logged since last June, only thoughts are maybe the busy road as I found it hard to find parking. Eventually got to GZ to find a very damp log but lucky I was still able to write on it. SLTFTC
Parked between these two and walked the busy roadside . Soon had this in hand. Thanks
Todays caching day was supposed to be all about 4WD along Muriwai Beach and grabbing those letterbox hybrid caches along the beach. The weather was favourable, tide timew was good as well and the geomobile full of fuel. Only problem, no company. My intended travellers pulled out one by one leaving me alone and, sniff, sad.
Nothing for it but to call off that mission and come over to Silverdale to grab a few easy caches to push the numbers along. There are absolutely loads here and in a new area that's always a winner. It also means I can park in one place, walk a loop grabbing 4 or 5 or 6 the go and move the car again to tyhe centre of the next cluster. Managed over 30 today which although not massive numbers was a nice gentle trip and back here at a decent time with time to log them and do all the humdrum extras before work again tomorrow.
Moved the car up to nearby and walked another loop of 6 caches.
Tricky to get to, so low down. No problems though

Loved the disguise. Managed to conceal myself from that savage traffic!

A super quick find here after I improvised some parking. Log is very wet and tore a bit as I attempted to sign it. Cheers for the hide!
Found during fozzmiester's MEGA 2013 road trip.
Parked just down the road for a short stroll back and a quick find. TFTC

Found the cache after a bit of searching. Very cleverly hidden though. Good find TFTC
Another trip up to Silverdale in search of the final cache in this series. Like others we now know a lot more about the development that has taken place around the area. We parked up the road a bit and walked back for this cache. Didn't take too long to locate despite it being dark by the time we made it to GZ. TFTC.
Last one in the series today for us...thanks for the nice little mini trail...we feel we are getting to know Silverdale very well !

Tried to do a park and grab for this one but couldnt find it, so instead found a place to park and walked up to the cache. The better caching eyes of this team spotted the goods straight away. TFTC
Thiought it easier to park and walk back, soon had the cache in hand and continued the walk along to Take Three #3

It is off to Silverdale to pick up a few more caches in the STC series. I was off on Shank's Pony to pick up the others in this mini-series.
Cheers for the cache.

This one took longer than it should've but Miss Geckoh was on the ball and claimed the find. Now off to the last one! TFTC

Not able to find this one, too much traffic going back and forth for a long search.
Out and about grabbing the Silverdale caches. I thought that Id park and walk the caches to see how long it takes. Took me 2 1/2 hours. I was interrupted by a phone call, I stopped for lunch and then continued. Thanks.
Left this one on the eastward journey as a contractor was measuring something, all clear on the way back.

Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
Decided to stop and look for the latest STC caches on our way home this evening. After a quick drive by of the series first, we decided to park in John Dee Cres and walk the trail from there. We did the trail from 1 to 5 in a leisurely 15 minutes - not out to break any records! Quick find, thanks for the cache!

A nice easy find. Parked the GeoRav off this busy road near #1 and had a nice leisurely stroll to this one. Now off to find the last one. TFTC.
Parked in the patient car parking at the nearby health centre and since I figured I'm quite a patient person, this parking was designed for me. Wandered along the road picking up the mini power trail and although we won't be FTF (Fastest to find) we will happily claim FTF (First to Find). TFTCaches Took about 15 minutes from leaving the car to the last cache which of course we completed in reverse order.
