Logs
I was walking past today and it has been stolen again for the third time even after moving it twice so I will now be archiving it. It lasted a bit over 10 years which is ok.
Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to spiffy- for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

Found with seagul_lad. We were looking in the wrong tree but found it eventually..
Out with traccas_b today, we looked for a while where we thought best matched the clue, with no luck until I decided to look where traccas_b was looking and found it was staring right at them! We had a laugh and signed the log. Tftc!
Coords didn't like us much on this one, didn't want to settle down. Once found, a brilliant location for a hide in a nice peaceful area. Tftc!!
Found it! But what I found was the scrolled log sheet on the ground with no container in sight, hanging or otherwise. I signed it and placed it in a spare zip lock back I was carrying and left it tucked into the hollow of the dead sticking up branch amongst the green branches. I put a stick in top to keep it secure. Hopefully the CO can recover and replace the cache to it usual condition. TFTC SL. No floods here today!
CO may want to check on the cache as only the scroll was found on the ground. See log for more details. I took a photo of where I left it if you need it. Cheers.
I was a bit worried about the previous log saying the whole tree was dead. I thought the council may have removed it, but all is well here. Cache is still fine.
Neat hide , found a couple of days after birth of granddaughter as looking after other granddaughter nearby and first chance to go hunting

So here's a place I wouldn't of normally discovered! Nearly went A over T on the muddy path lol! Signed log. Water is raging today!
I received a message saying "geocache is broken" so I went and checked today and everything is fine as I thought it would be. I looked up their profile and they had 1 find .... hmmmm. Maybe they meant they couldn't find it? Oh well, I will never know, they never responded to my question.
With reports of a full log from the last finders I walked over and replaced it today.
After completing the nearby AL we decided to take a walk down the footpath in the general direction of this cache. It was a pleasant day for a stroll, especially after all the weeks of rain in Sydney -- Melbourne was actually sunny.
We found the flood stopper -- a lot shallower than the one where I live, but I'm sure it serves its purpose just as well. Then we headed up towards GZ and cursed a bit because hides like this can often be very tricky. But after a relatively quick search I spotted the container -- I was expecting it to be a bit higher, and it reminded me of the expression, "knee-high to a grasshopper". I was definitely relieved to make the find so rapidly so that we could continue our walk to one more cache for the day.

Only 1 spot left on log
Thank you for bringing me to another area of Melbourne that has bush land and connecting pathways

Found it at 9:30am I get a hell of a fright here, after the find and log complete I walked back across the dam wall only to find that my bike was gone, oh shit someone has stolen it now what am I going to do started waking back towards Waverley and there it was, leaning against a tree some 100m away, maybe someone thought it was stolen and put it where people could see it.. os that was a good start to the day but ended well with 10 finds for the morning. I remember this cache. I'm a lazy cacher, no doubt about it. I'd walked up to this one before, saw it was on the other side and walked back to where I came from. Today in the glorious autumn weather we walked a bit further and, to my surprise we could walk a path almost to GZ. You never what's on the other side of a hill until you climb it Once there the hunt was on and the little treasure was spotted and signed. Thanks spiffy- for the cache that proved that laziness just makes me more active
A bit tricky. Don’t give up trying to find it, just keep searching around the trees.
Upon getting close to this one, I wondered if PrezDough and myself had entered the wrong way.
Fortunately we could skirt around the Flood Stopper and get to the cache.
The cache, container and log are in excellent condition.
I visited 5 TB.

Smart cache hiding and the color is quite a CAMFLAGE.
There was quite heavy storm just after we found it. We.were stranded around the dam cabin for more than 10 minutes. We were all wet. What an impressive experience!

A nice walk through here. Very slippery, and had to take some care. Was very wet in some parts under foot. Relative quick find at the GZ.
Searched and searched and almost gave up then reread previous logs which gave me a little bit more of an insight. Then what do you know, there it was.
What a pretty little spot that I never knew existed.
Thanks for bringing me here.

Imgeojoe found it - this guy is too clever. What a great hide, after 2 other assumed spots, found it nearby in an unassuming place
Back to caching after a 8ish month hiatus and a nice easy cache to start again, although it was lower than I thought it was! TFTC!
I have come here about 6 times and found out Ive been looking in the wrong tree 7th times the charm though and I finally cracked it today!
I ride along the scotchmans creek all the time and pass this structure - first time I have actually headed over to take a look! Nice evening with the dog and a quick find
Cold afternoon in Lockdown. Have run through this area many times. Didn’t bring a pen so will have to return. Thanks Spiffy. Nice cache.
Wow this is some flood stopper. This cache was found quickly and easily which was a relief as I had already spent more than half a day doing the caches in Valley Park.
Found @14:24 #7624
A nice quick find and the horny teenage muggles rolling around in the flood way was just out of view of GZ for a safe retrevial. Nice!!
Day 254 of 365 completed.
