I was determined not to be another statistical failure, but after 20 I gave up and failed. Mad as its my first DNF in a while.

FITW GreenMenace
FINALLY!
Had logged two DNFs on this one, but I think I had been at least three times to this no-name park before, trying to find this cache.
Even though last time I already had an idea what am I looking for, I could not spot it. This time it came surprisingly easy!
Last find half a year ago, yet cache still all good and findable. No tools required.
Oh, I'm really happy to have this one knocked off, after years of DNFing

Pretty sure we found it - no purpose to it there! couldn't get the end to turn and were without tools.
For our milestone cache #2000 we decided it had to be a nemesis cache. This time, on our fourth visit, we came with one extra clue from the previous finder, the info they had had from the CO. With that plus a thorough reread of all past logs we came to GZ, looked a little higher than before, and made the find within seconds. Considering how long we have spent here previously, the title is apt for the mental dedication required to find this one! Another favourite of course. TFTC!
Wow! I have probably looked for this on 4 separate occasions, but I had to message the CO for a clue because I still couldn't get it. But with a little help and another look after work the cache was in hand. This is a great one!
I got some ewarning about this one from the CO at the previous hide, so I came equipped with extra patience! After a lot of wlking and dancing around I spotted it! Great hide, TFTC!!
I was passing by and thought I'd have another go at this but alas no joy but I did find a perfectly good ball as a consolation prize.
Yes this is still here safe and sound . We live just up the road and check it frequently.
We came prepared for a challenge given the struggle others have to find this camo. We had a good hunt, prod and poke for a good long while, but decided that we had to join the ranks of the blue faces; today at least.

Another visit, another "I have no idea" moment.
Someone mentioned that the coords are pretty accurate. But they just point to the field about 8m from the wall...

Absolutely no idea so far. Read all the comments and stil can't understand this.

I've been looking for caches with lots of favorite points for the October souvenir, and this one fit the bill. Thanks for the cache!!
Was briefly in the area today picking up a purchase, so decided to grab a cache before heading back to work. Saw this one had a few favourite points so thought I'd give it a go. Had a rough idea on what I could be looking for, but it took a few minutes to locate it. Seems to be missing it's original camo though? Thanks for the cache.
#15625. Last cache of a lunch time bike ride. Even though I'd located the cache before, it still took a while to spot. The cache container has been pushed out of shape by the tree, and the lid no longer fits. There was no log sheeet, so I wrote a log on a piece of paper, and put it into the cache container. TFTC.
Despite my GPSr not settling, I had a fairly good go at finding this cache. I remain defeated for now.
TFTC Finally found after a few attempts, however cache needs looking as as log is missing,
Great cache. The coords are slighty off.
No log in cache but we definitely found it.
Made me think of Pinocchio.

I just had to get this one another try after meeting the cache owner at another of the caches. After the generous hint of which way to look I found it. Thanks for the hint and especially the water.
This one had me stumped on the first visit. Before a return visit I PAF for some advice and got the hint that the GZ was a bit further south than indicated. That was a help. Finally found the neat little container. Great effort. FP for the creativity. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. BJ25.
We decided to tackle this one on a Sunday afternoon which was a good plan because the area was deserted. As it was, the cache was a quick find for us. Good camo job. TFTC.
Very worthy of a favourite. Extremely happy to finally have the find after previous looks. I need to be more observant! Tftc.
Found with StreetWalker (who is leaving the paperwork for another day) on an after dinner expedition to find three caches to bring my finds count for 28th Sept to a nice round 10 .
I had looked for this cache previously but a cold southerly saw us abandon our search after a short search. Pretty sure I hadn't looked at this spot last visit, as my GPSr was pointing several metres further north and didn't get the chance to investigate further afield. A good, if different use of this type of container and you need to be at the right angle to spot it.
The last cache, time to head back home. Thanks, sweetandsour, always appreciate the extra effort you put into your hides. TFTC.

first clueless. was more busy not to step into dog s**t. I hade a vague idea what to look for but did not find anything. reading some logs confitmed my idea.. more searching. after about 15 min I had it and signed my name
Very clever hide and I thought about the name and had a hunch. The hunch was right but still took a little to to peg it down. Well put together. Note the log is damp but still able to sign it. TFTH
Beauty. What a find. Out with Rayzr2 and he had attempted before and thought extra eyes would help it was him that found it anyway. Will give this a favourite tftc found with Rayzr2
Found after my third attempt and about 2 hours of searching I am so glad to tick this one off with the help of team_macdonald TFTC and a favorite from me
This is still where it should be. We check it on a regular basis. Good luck next time
We stopped by on the way home for a looksee but the cold wind soon drove us back to the warmth of the car. With no finds since Feb, it would be good to have a CO check, please.
Came back with Troodles to take a second look, but no joy second time round either.
Not much of anything where my GPS led me. Garden has been cleared. But I could be blind!
Had a decent look, but came up empty handed. Will have to come back with reinforcements (Troodles).
Have to log a DNF on this one searching for the best part of a hour left me empty handed
Found this one after about ten minutes searching! Very clever & worthy of a favourite point from us! TFTC
TS and I just _had_ tro try this one, even with 2 DNFs a month ago..
We poked at everything, climbed trees, inspected every detail with keen eyes, but came up emptyhanded...
Gave up at 01:55 PM

Very tricky. There is a similar cache in Hanmer. Gps was out. Only when I read log saying gps out 10 m did I lock in. Very good. Tftc
Found it first time without a paf! Kudos for me!!! A very tricky hide. I read the previous logs which didn’t really help but trusted the coords and looked closely. Glad to have found this one. When I lived in Christchurch a couple of years ago I was too scared to try. Tftc
A classic geocache hide. This is what it's all about. Loved it! Glad I didn't get chased away by dogs this time round. Tftc
Absolutely in LOVE with this cache. It certainly was driving Busy Paws "stark Raven Mad" So I went for a look with her and found it. Definitely deserves a favourite point!
TFTC!

Found at last, this has been a wee horror to find, and it was all thanks to my Geo Jessie buddy, just a look and "got it". Very sneaky hide, well done. VERY glad to not have to think this one thru' any more. TFTC (I think !!)
This place didn't even look familiar but I see now that we had tried to find this before. I looked alone as M was keeping the car running as we had trouble starting it this morning. Will have to have a longer look sometime.
We headed down to this part of the world for Queens Birthday, finding a few caches as we went

This cache has been on my radar for SO long (& I had visited, in vain, a coupe of times when it was quite new).
Coffee, chat & caching - a great weekend activity with purdiepurdie - it's been a while since we had a catch up and it was certainly a great day.
2 coffees, some fodder & we set of to find a couple (which stretched to a few more...).
We visited Melrose & Keogh not far away, then decided to come her.
This is an excellent cache, thanks sweetandsour for your careful crafting etc.

TFTC. Out to meet up with kotukuSI for CCC (coffee, chat and cache). We have turned this into an art form, such a great way to spend time,
We were only going to get one or maybe two caches, but the force was strong upon us and it stretched a little.
The first time I DNFed this cache was over two years ago. Since then the area has undergone significant change.
I spotted this cache from just the right angle or it would have been very tricky to see.
Lovely cache build.
A favourite vote from me.
Thanks sweetandsour for creating this challenge.

Didn't think I was having much luck tonight and was preparing to walk away with another DNF. Then spotted it at the last moment. The cache was 'broken' - but not really . Nice cache! TFTC (1861)
The little blighter nearly beat me! I spent way longer than I intended searching here. In the end I'd actually given up and was leaving when I looked up and saw something different. There it was! Nice camo, we'll executed. The cache was about 10m from GZ for me though.

Gps was bouncing all over but couldn't find GZ. I have a hunch of what I'm poking for but had to move on.

Due to a current cleanup in this area we will disable this until we can enable it in the very near future. Thanks for the understanding and it will be back shortly. SweetandSour.
Finally found it on the second go after a good 10 or so minutes of looking. A superb hide. Thankfully the weather was lovely.
Our second visit to this cache, and although as it turned out, we were looking for the right sort of cache this time, we were about to give up again, when we spotted this very sneakily hidden little cache. TFTC
Well, the title is very appropriate! - I'm now "Stark Raven" mad/frustrated after spending a good half an hour of my life wasted on a 2.0/1.5 cache in amongst piles of pine needles, branches, and broken tree trunks. Nice clue, but to no avail for anything I could undo. Could not find any trap-doors or secret tunnels either, except for rubbish... Thank goodness the site's away from the road, so as to provide some cover for an adult fossicking around in amongst pine trees.
Spent just over 15 minutes looking but just couldn't see any thing obvious. Went over recent logs and the description, don't mention the clue over and over. We will be back. Don't you guys worry...
Today Teeeroy and I were meant to meet Mrs TEF at the container mall in Cashel st, somewhere he'd not been before and was keen to seeing as he grew up in Christchurch. On our way to town we decided to nab a cache or two in between some essential errands.
This was our third cache of the morning and one we thoroughly enjoyed. It took us a bit of searching, unfortunately we couldn't get a decent fix on GZ. With the tried and true process of ever increasing circles we got there in the end, and after a quick glance through previous logs I had a pretty good idea where to look and what for. Boomshakalaka cache in hand, signed, sealed, delivered.

2nd visit here and determined more than ever to find it today. Scouting about and then by chance after about 10 minutes no that can't be it, but sure enough it was. Very cool. Thanks.
Yes, finally found this well crafted cache. Second visit and this time lucky, just as we were about to leave. TFTC

So it was time to take my wee kitty for a walk - we live in an apartment, so she won't be able to get out much, but I don't want her to miss outside!!
However, it would seem she doesn't like outside! The whole time she was huddled up next to my legs, and when she wasn't, she was crying as she isn't strong enough to climb up the tree! She was like "Mummy! Put me on the tree!!" And so I did - which is when I found the cache, and then she started crying telling me to take her down as it was starting to spit!! Silly wee kitty!! Haha.
But cache is definitely still there! - We did need a trip back to the car after spotting it though - turns out that I had forgotten my pen! Whoops! But second time lucky and signed

Although some of the trees have been blown over and chopped down the Cache is still safe and sound in its cubby hole
Have checked and it is still there all safe and sound. Thanks and good luck for next time

Although currently this cache is shown as being disabled, the owner’s log of 11th September suggests it is available? If this is correct, then it should be reenabled. On the assumption it is there, and with a possibility in mind, we spent some time looking for it, but without success.
After being temporarily disabled for a "few mere 4 weeks", we are pleased to announce the trees have finally been cleared and we have enabled this cache again. Thanks for your patience and understanding as we can not predict what mother nature has in store for us. Enjoy

Little O is off to the movies with some friends so have ducked out in a lovelt sunny spring morning to find a few caches. Spent a good 15mins looking, but it alluded me this morning.
After reading the logs and having an idea of what I was after Chelzea and I still went prepared for a long search. I am not sure whether my GPS was spot on we where lucky or just that a night search helped but found what we were after within a minute or two. Cunning hide and glad to get this one off the nearest list of caches. TFTC
Looked around for 10 min, stopped and thought about it for a bit, then oh yeah, there it is, and log signed TFTC.
This one took a lot of time searching for but was well worth it in the end.
We found it when we decided to branch out and look above our heads rather than rummaging around on the ground.
