Happy wee find with the kids today who are desperate for large cache but they seem few and far between. Very fun hide and had is stumped for a while until the 11yr old shouted I found it! Caching is new to him so we need to explain the quiet but again. Tftc +fav
I initially struggled with the find, but finally located the crafty hide under the watchful eye of the CO after the canine door bell alerted him to my presence...Thanks for the peaches!---I won tickets to see [Lve](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Live_(band)) play in Christchurch last time they were in NZ (20+ years ago) but I couldn't make it to the concert (I still have the tickets!)They've come back down under and I'm not letting the opportunity pass me by again! With my work leave and (more importantly) my home leave approved, I flew down last night for the concert tomorrow night. Today I cached my way around Wigram, joining forces with ThatDarnBear for the afternoon. I managed to find caches for the last three missing dates on my Hidden Date calendar, which finally qualifies me for [The 365/366 Challenge - Manawatu](https://coord.info/GC7R80A).All in all, an excellent day.
Found with Southlandicebergs who took me and PlatSilver on a little geocaching tour around Hornby. TFTC!
Afternoon wander in the sun and there was lots of sun today. Made the doubious walk up the driveway looking for likely spot. The CO came out for a chat then observed us hoping we would spot it and we did. Found with platsilver and KelliplsTftcMerry Christmas
Found with Gummi_Venus. We were a bit nervous and it took us a few minutes to locate the cleverly hidden container. Spotted something slightly out of place, signed, and we were off.
Found with ObnoxiousSpaceCat, to be honest I'm not keen on caching around people's houses and we almost gave up but noticed something off. Unsure if the CO was home but I like your grape vine, TFTC!
Omg best one yet sorry set your sensor light off at 12.30 at night late night caching
Yay!
I have been here a few times over the last year or so but nerves about being on private property made it difficult- I would look for a few minutes then give up.
Today I needed a cache but have a million other things to do and it looks and feels like it's about to pour down with rain soon so while I was doing a quick errand in the area I stopped off here for what turned into a quick find!!!
Today the home owner was clearly there- vehicle present and gate open so I nearly turned around but determined to at least have a quick look I was presently surprised to spot something I obviously missed last time (how, I don't know- anxiety?) almost immediately.
As I was about to sign, the C.O/homeowner appeared near his garage and I bravely gave a wave and shout "got it, thanks!"
Looks like someone has been here before me today which is funny.
Thanks for the cache- a very clever hide

A quick find for us after spotting something different. We enjoyed this one. We didn’t hang around long so didn’t catch up with the CO today. TFTC sweetandsour.
Couldn’t spot it but I honestly didn’t look all that hard. This kind of caching makes me nervous.
It appears you had some contractors doing a bit of work so I’ll try again another time.
CO arrived home right when I started looking and gave me a helpful nudge in the right direction! A cool little hiding spot! TFTC!
Out with Greg, hoovering up some local Caches I've missed, out are pretty new. Great day for it. Cheers.
Sent Mumbo11 up the drive to collect this one - he went up the wrong drive first.......I had to stay in the car with the cachellets.....once he found the correct drive - the search was on.....Thanks to the nice owners of the cache, the log was found, signed and popped back....they also gave us a trackable......TFTTB
After searching high and low on the fences and exploring the bushes we could not find the cache
Up from Invercargill for the weekend, I watched my mates boy play footy at Denton Park, before venturing here.
Caching is a dodgy activity at the best of times, but just seems more so when it's on private property.
A quick easy find after I discovered the grapes are actually real.

Awesome wee hiding spot for first one in the morning, OP came out and helped me find it thank you so much! Super sweet and friendly, look forward to doing your next ones
Thanks for putting out this cache for woolwood9 and I to find!
SL **tm/ww NZ** (may just be a black smudge on the many wet or plastic logs)
*We soon had another good cache located!*

I'm always nervous about private property caches, and when parking up I almost went up the wrong driveway quickly found the cache and signed though. TFTC!
I was walking up and down the driveway until the CO came out, just as I found it! Great to have a chat, and what a cool hide!! TFTC!!
There seemed to be so many things to investigate and I got way too interested in a couple of them instead of widening my search. Oh well more practice needed - - - what a great excuse to cache all day long . TFTC .
Quite a few different things to investigate here. We must've been taking too long because the CO came out to say hello. Nice to meet you sweet. an obvious find once we looked in the right direction, TFTC # 15,321
Out of DUNEDIN and headed to Nelson for a week. On a mission to tick off our 2000th cache on this trip.
Quick cache before church. Nice to meet the CO.
Almost there, this is find number 1994!

Was nervous about doing this one but shouldn't have been. A great hide and very clever. Thanks sweet and sour. #3895
Great co ords lead to a nice fast find of this well placed and novel cache ...well done ...thanks sweetandsour great cache
We had to kill a bit of time today and this cache was within walking distance. Cool hide. Thanks for the placement sweet and sour.
Cache seems to be missing. The house is apparently for sale. Maybe cache was removed?
This is still here safe and sound. Our house is not for sale but the next door is.
Had an errand to do at lunch time today and this case was my closest unfound to my destination. Didn't take long to spot the hide today. Good to see something a bit different. Thanks for the cache.

#15624. Second find of three today. I'd sussed out the hiding place on an earlier visit, so quickly had cache in hand (and a load of ants; they have made themselves at home in the hole the cache lives in. A great hide! TFTC.
Fun cache and a clever hide. I stopped here after getting some parts for the cache mobile from Repco. Thanks for the cache.
I didn't spot the cache location immediately but it didn't take me long to figure out what was going on here. TFTC, sweetandsour.

Quick stop off after work on a beautiful day.
Nicely done cache, and it's good that you pointed out in the description that it's a shingle driveway for people not to end up on the other side of the fence on the neighbour's one

Right after finding this one, the CO drove up. We had a pleasant visit and a cool glass or two of water. Thanks again.
We came in the middle of the day and there didn't look like there was anyone home. Found with debsnz
At first glance there didn't appear anywhere to hide a cache, clever! Found with AroakiSheep
Great little cache I went abit far at first and sent the dogs barking and then co came out and said hi and gave me a nudge in the right direction. Got it in the end and a great disguise. Thanks for this cache.
After a great day exploring Banks Peninsula in Toby Sunday, its home time, having to drive both Zara & Toby as they are not taling to each other yet.
OK I stop at Hornby Pak&save for some fresh bread for our trek home, but its Waitangi day and this place does not wake up early - so lets go exploring while we wait. Walk to here and snagg the cache. Great hide cheers. Did not say hi as its 7.30 and thought you may want a sleep in too. Bugger - shops still not open so its waiting again and then waiting in the shop for the bread we want. Bread snagged and we are off again

I went down to Ashburton with TaybeeDragon to pick up a car and spent the long weekend exploring, one box at a time. Now it's home time.
Walked around to here, leaving both cars at Pak n Sav, wating for them to open up. Seems Waitangi Day is a reason to sleep in. The cache was a nice easy find, and we would have stopped in to say hi, but it was half past seven in the morning, I thought you might want to sleep in too (I slept in - got up about 6am. That's a big sleep in for me!)

Arrived at GZ and was unsure wether to go up the drive or look out on the street. After reading the description again and with the GPS pointing up the drive I started hunting. The local geodogs started a bit of a chorus. While I was searching the CO popped his head thru the gate and gave me a hint to the location. With grateful thanks the cache found and log signed.
Found with StreetWalker (who is leaving the paperwork for another day) on an after dinner expedition to find three caches to bring my finds count for 28th Sept to a nice round 10 .
SW had chickened out when looking for this cache on a previous visit, and I suspect I would have also abandoned ship if solo, as I never feel comfortable looking for caches on private property. But there is safety in numbers! And with our GPsrs pointing to the same gravel driveway, we were confidant that we were in the right place.
And a quick find for SW today - nicely hidden too. TFTC.

nice and relaxing drive-in day today. did not meet the CO today... thanks for the box, rolofant
Went out for a lunch time bike ride to scout out the location of a few caches. I didn't spot this one. It's always a bit nerve wracking searching for a cache on private property. It would be a good idea to put a the house number in the cache listing, and also say how many metres down the drive the cache is hidden.
TFTC. Well placed and worthy of a FP. I just dropped by to collect the cache between shopping trips to Hornby and Tower Junction. Nice to meet the CO too! Cheers, James.
A bit late on the way to pick up a TM purchase so no time for a cuppa, nice little hide and conveniant tool too Cheers
Glad co-ordinates spot on as a little worried I might end up on wrong property. Quick and easy find. TFTC
Was planning a walk out this was along the motorway to collect some caches but it was cold and windy so thought we'd save them for next time. Decided on a coffee and a few drive by caches instead. Onwards to Farmers at Hornby after this as had to find a pair of shoes for a work function .... Pity I can't wear sneakers for all occasions!
Out caching today with OrionJ with no particular plan.Nice hidey hole!.Thank you sweetandsour for placing and maintaining this cache.
Out with THE GREEN GECKOS, caching our way from an event in the city this morning through some of the suburbs and finishing at the evening event.
This was not one that I was keen on going for, even though it was explained where and such, I never feel comfortable going onto private property. Either way we were able to make the find without much trouble and soon were on the way.

Nice quick find on a lovely day out. Took the time to reflect on this one well done. TFTH
I had time for a few caches on my way to work meetings this morning. Well that was quite a unique experience. I overshot GZ by a few metres and found something that I thought was the cache but it wasn't. When I turned around I saw something else of interest and there was the cache. I managed to extract it and all was well. TFTC, Biggles.
HI there
You may want to include a new log for this one as the one with it is full

Nice hide went a bit far up to begin. With. .... Very nice hiding place although the log is full and I could not sign TFTC
Found in the second place I looked (gps took me a little further up the drive initially). Of course as soon as I looked in the right direction... Nice hide!
It seems that no one was home so I signed the log and headed home for a snooze before my night shift tonight. TFTC

Nice quick find while on our way to the airport to return to Auckland after spending the day in Christchurch. Clever hide!
Creative cache! Don't think anyone was home also my Pop was waiting in the car so there was no time for a chat!
TFTC!

Nice wee hidey place. Found with Geo Jessie, Wanted a chat but the other half was in the car. TFTC
Today we went for a walk in Hornby and Christchurch and picked up several caches. This was one of them and rather easy to find. TFTC and Greetings from Holland
TFTC. Found easy enough. Hope you have a happy new year.
Walked up to gate after signing and replacing log. Gate was locked, did not appear to be anyone home. Sorry I missed out on a chat. Maybe meet another time.

Today I rode my bicycle through Christchurch. I was able to discover many beautiful spots and find geocaches. Thank you to each of the owners for the hide geocaches.
Nice hide here Cleverly placed and camoe. Looked for the correct drive on satellite maps so hoped i would be entering other people's property after i walked the short distance from the hornby shops and then walked back to catch a bus. A favourite point from me. thank you for the cache
Such a clever hide! Quickly found today sorry no time to chat as have to be home again - just dropping off our bus to be repaired! TFTC
Mmm not so sure I want to knock on the door today. A great day out with moneydork. TFTC
Wow, this one hasn't been done for a while and we were a bit nervous until I read the hint and the cache was soon in place. Thanks Sweetandsour.
Thought about finding this cache today but saw it was a micro and then my GPSr didn't want to pick a drive and I saw there were two with gravel, either could have been the one. So I decided to leave it.
An easy and clever find after a minute or so. No time to call in today for a "hello"!

It was such a crazy day of errands, and exciting things and news, I honestly wasn't even thinking about caching!
But it's great when you have someone holding you accountable/ reminding you! As we were leaving Mitre 10 Mega from picking up a couple of things, my boyfriend asked, have you gotten your cache for the day yet?? Oh stink! Almost forgot!!! So I quickly looked up on the smartphone what the closest unfound was. And just happened to be this.
I was a bit sceptical at first, but then read the description, and felt fine searching. Found it quick too
However didn't pop in to say hi - had to rush home to find the neighbours to give them back their kitten that the other neighbours almost gave to the SPCA! And hope that our kitten hadn't killed theirs or something, judging by how possessive she had been! The two were friends when we got back though, and the neighbour came home about 15 minutes later

The drive took 25 minutes and the cache took 25 seconds. Day 188 of my streak. Thankfully I'm only in the country for another 8 days then won't have to drive across town for a cache. Tftc. Neat hide
Cool way to hide!! Was going to turn our back on it but then saw the " Cache " Very well hidden. I think you guys were home but did not have time to pop in and chat. Fave point from us. TFTC
Today Teeeroy and I were meant to meet Mrs TEF at the container mall in Cashel st, somewhere he'd not been before and was keen to seeing as he grew up in Christchurch. On our way to town we decided to nab a cache or two in between some essential errands.
When we hit GZ I figured I should let Teeeroy do some work for a change and stayed in the car. He walked up and down the drive a few times and looked like he was struggling, just as I got to him he proclaimed a find.
We signed the log, but figured that with no car in the drive there probably wasn't anyone at home to come and say hi to.
