With a new geostead decided to take it on a gallop down here this was one of the finds today. A short detour from the main drive and the cache was found

A small detour and another good-sized cache find. Parked a couple of meters away from GZ and after entering the zone of secrecy we made the quick find. With the cache in hand, we signed the log and then replaced it as found. Both the cache container and log are in good condition. Thanks for the cache steeba.

fitzy_1965, Albida & I headed down the escarpment today for a CCE and managed to avoid any rain until on the way home.

After the event we did a bit of caching before heading home via a new virtual.

This Sunday turned into another mammoth Community Celebration Event journey with Fitzy_1965 & MinnieK. We started by joining the Flintsones Event by Lake Burley Griffin. The rain held off while we were there. Next was a drive to Dapto, via a big rain storm by Lake George. The second event was another well attended and dry event with some fun activities. After both events were over, we set off to do a few caches around Dapto before heading back home vis anew cache near Bundanoon. A long and very fun day.

The cache was a quick find, overlooking this somewhat unexpected collection of cars over the fence.

28,740. Found with minniek and albida33 during an afternoon visit down to the Dapto region.

We had two Community Celebration Events on our radar today. The first in Canberra and the one here in Dapto. A mid morning start had us in Canberra for the start of the first event, then we hit the road down here and caught up with most of the attendees at the end of the fun and games of mizmaz's CCE. After that it was time to grab a few more caches before heading back up the mountain. This was the next cache of the day. A nice quick find at GZ by albida. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one.

What a fascinating place. We actually saw this facility from the top of Mt Kembla, wondering what the hell it was. Amazing, within an hour we'd found out due to this cache.
