Thank you for the multi! Plaques found, cache remnants found, but the log book + part of the container appear to be missing ..
Thanks for the multi and the history nice little garden walk to remember our diggers TFTC
This weekend we are participating in 'The Great Victorian Cache Crawl', this cache did not quite fit our criteria but we all agreed that we wanted to complete this cache. We are not sure if we had our workings correct as it took us a bit to find the final hide. A favorite from us due to the clever hide. SL TFTC
Something special or unusual goes here:Day Two - Kaniva to Sunbury.Gathering the information for this multi was the easy part. Arriving at GZ I start one side and Mr. Muff the other. Then we swapped and search where we had each looked earlier. Meanwhile Mrs. Muff was spreading out further and further that where we had the GZ. After 20 minutes of fruitless searching the PAFs went out. Most finders could just describe the area we had just searched. So we searched again. Still no luck. Time to narrow the search area. GPS in hand walk away in one direction and walk back, Same again different direction. Repeat repeat repeat. Should be somewhere here. It was. A very clever hide that had us flummoxed for ages gets a FP. [:X]The Generic Bit:The 2024 Geocaching Victoria Event Crawl: Day Two - Kaniva to Sunbury. Two days of traveling over from S.A. and three days of Events, numerous Adventure Labs, lots of fun, mishaps, and even a few caches found as we crawled around in search of smilies. My companions for the Crawl were Muff1. So Good to catch up with lots of caching friends. [:X]***Thanks sorceysal for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.

Out to find a few more caches after the CITO at Pykes Creek this morning. I gathered all but one of the numbers, but the answer for H was obvious. Once at GZ I searched around for a few minutes before discovering the hide.My thanks to sorceysal for the cache.
I had just landed from Tassie the night before and thought, why not keep caching!
OzHockeyChick kindly offered to drive to the Bacchus Marsh event after I had completed 1400kms in 4 days. It was a nice change!
We stopped in here to complete this multi on the way. It took some searching at GZ and just as we were about to give up, I managed to find it.
Thanks sorceysal for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

Heading out to Bacchus Marsh for an evening dinner event, we decided to do a couple of waypoints of an AdLab on the way. We still had a few minutes up our sleeve, so a short detour to check out this multi.
Once at gz, it took us quite some time, and we were about to give up and leave it until after dinner, when RoamingHowie spotted the sneaky hide. Nice work!
Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, sorceysal

While staying in Melbourne we picked up a few caches in the area and this was one of them.
A straight forward multi, that took some time to unearth, added new logsheet.

Did the calculations and had a GZ that seems reasonable, however I couldn't find a cache. Re-checked my maths and all seemed find. Another 5 minutes searching but still nothing, so had to admit it was too good for me today.
Thanks anyway sorceysal...will try again another day I'm sure.

What a lovely garden here! Thanks for highlighting this on our day trip here.
Ok a bit to find the cache!
Great spot for a cache.
Easily gained the answers..
Took a lil while to spot the nifty GZ though.

An enjoyable search for and find of the clues in a lovely memorial garden for this one. Then it required a thorough search at gz to locate this sneaky sneaky hide. A fun little challenge to be sure.
The Trip
I think the stars have finally aligned for a two night trip, caching and camping along the Great Dividing Range. It seems that every time i have planned a caching trip in the last six months something has come up to thwart my plans or cut my trip short. I have high hopes that this week it will be perfect.
I started at Moorabool Reservoir and will be collecting caches from there in the direction of Riddells Creek although i have a lot to find so am unlikely to make it that far. The weather is glorious and there is a cool lilt in the air which makes for a pleasant change from home, and the shady forests are vibrant.
Champagne caching!

Found on the trip home after another awesome, annual QOGM event. On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird (aka Mrs Geo, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird, Angry Bird & occasionally even Love Bird). It’s a great day for caching.

I wandered over from the nearby Community Celebration Event with SteMicMitSar.
We had no issues gathering the required information and headed in to GZ.
After searching for a while I made a PAF and a helpful previous finder came to our aid.
Sadly still no luck and after she departed the search continued.
I was using an implement that I had picked up in the garden bed to shift some leaf litter out of the way when I noticed something strange. I was actually holding the cache in my hand
I called +Wife over and cut a new stone paper log sheet as the existing sheet was just normal paper.
Signed and replaced ready for the next intrepid geocacher.

*Cache find # 13370.*
While at the nearby CCEvent, I went for a stroll over to this one with n0w0rries for a bit of a look around.
We gathered the info we needed and headed over to the cache location, we were looking around for a little while before Rod, without realising at first, actually had the cache in hand.
A new log sheet was added and the cache was replaced.

Chook travelled from Beaufort to Riddells Creek to spend a couple of days with her good friend Wendy. After walking Conglomerate Gully yesterday afternoon, the Antimony Mine was our target for today. This was a fabulous hike, and we said our goodbyes well before the sun was setting. Chook stopped by here on the way home. What a lovely memorial park! No muggles around, so information was gathered and calculations made. At GZ, the cache was spotted fairly quickly. Not quite sure if it was where it was meant to be, but its fairly safe and well hidden from muggle eyes. The new log sheet was nice and dry. Noticed a soggy old log lying around nearby. Couldn't fit it in the cache of course (and why would one want to moisten things up by doing that), so had no other option but to leave it next to the cache (or throw it out, but she chose the former). Not that its particularly readable anyway. TFTC sorceysal. A lovely little multi to end the day.
Nice quick find for us today! Beautiful area. Thanks for bringing us here!

Just doing a bit of caching with goingplaces2 while in this area to attend an event today.
The co-ords worked out were really good, but all we could find was the log by itself out on the ground. Didn't see any container.
For the time being, until the CO can replace the container, you will need to look up so it doesn't drive you NUTS.
Thank you to sorceysal for placing this cache.

Arrived here with goingplaces2 and had no problem in finding the log. Container was missing, but log was signed. Log was put back as best as could be. Job done! TFTC.
Found… couldn’t sign because it started pouring rain. Will go back another day to complete log.
Thank you

Thanks, sorceysal for this one.

Woohoo, visiting the daughter, thought I'd sneak out under the pretense of taking the pups for a drive, had to have another bite at this one...second attempt..walked straight up to it. Very cleverly hidden. Thanks for highlighting this lovely little garden
Finding caches close to home with Bogonghazy.
This took some time to find. So we phoned the CO who was happy to come down and help with the find. Thanks

On my way to Ballarat I stayed with sister in law for the night. Picked up the clues and had a look around enjoying the wonderful perfumes. Finally made the clever discovery. Co ords are goodvEnjoyed the history lesson sorceysal. It gets a favourite. Thanks for the cache
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas on this festive day.
I’m on my annual Christmas Day of finding somewhere to cache and hopefully finding a few caches as well as my family celebrate Christmas tomorrow.
I checked the map last night and an area came up as there have been a few new caches since the last time of being up this way so after finding those I headed to the Marsh to find a couple but I ended spending nearly the whole day around here after realising that there a few Adventure Labs around here as well.
I’m guessing that this one would be a lot harder in footy season.
Interesting read and I did not know that this is where part of the camp was and they are doing a great job with the garden as well.
This one had me walking around in circles a bit then I realised I hadn’t checked there but then I realised that I had but I over looked the cache and I soon had the clever and sneaky cache in my hand with my second sweep.
I think I have done about 5 laps of the Marsh while doing all of the ones around here.
Thanks sorceysal TFTC.

After searching for over 30 minutes, we could not find the cache. So a DNF from us. Thanks anyway.
Quick find whilst in Bacchus Marsh today for a geo event. A nice simple multi in a great little location. Many thanks for the cache.
We met up with beckNmonts and crank1 early this morning and spent the morning touring around Bacchus Marsh. Not long after lunch, we were joined by OzHockeyChick and a bit later again, we found Posums loitering so he joined our intrepid little group. It was a great day and we managed to get a few more smiley's as we already had quite a number of the ones we visited. We had looked for this earlier in the day and given up. It is only after a PAF that we went back and crank1 perservered after I'd given up, and she found it. Well done to her and a big thanks. Thanks for the cache and for bringing us here.
BeckNmonts, Geoturtle37, Papi4507 and myself are on Cache trip to Bacchus Marsh in early morning for a day. After Lunch meet and joined with OzHockeyChick and Possums.

Out to grab a few more caches before the end of 2018 with Simsfamily and Neville Devil.
We made our way to Mt Macedon grabbing a variety of caches on route.
The last time I was here I spent sometime searching to no avail, so as we were passing with a previous finder to help I returned.
Well the search continued again and no cache to be found even with the help. Simsfamily had to dash off leaving Neville Devil and I to continue the search, after a few minutes more the cache was finally spotted tucked away.
Log signed and replaced as found.

Today I was having a planed day off work and after checking out some unloved caches in the area. There seemed to be a good few that we not that hard to reach thankfully as it was a pretty hot day.
I had been here once before with Ausfox; that ended up without being able to find the replacement cache that had been hidden. That search was in darkness and I was hoping that daylight would reveal something that we missed last time. Again wasn't doing all that well so I resorted to a PAF to confirm my location was indeed the right spot. Indeed I was in the right spot so search and search I did. Then I caught a glint of something that looked promising. Yay I got it and the 414 days of unloved that go with it getting me that little bit closer to the challenge I am working on.
Thank you sorceysal for the multi

Suspect this has gone walkies again. Plenty of evidence of cacher searching at GZ but nothing useful on the ground on either side of the path.
Kejajo89 asked us to help her with this after 2 dnfs. We sat and worked out the coords whilst she headed to GZ. This time she found it immediately. Must have been the good luck company we provided.
Omfg! Walked right up to this! I swear this was not here the last 2 times i came!!! Very frustrating, but also funny. Glad to finally rectify this frowney to a smiley!

Got the co-ords easily enough, but gz had me feeling perhaps we had crunched the numbers wrong. Quick check of the logs and the clue reassured us, but we still couldnt find the little bugger Searched for about half an hour all up before the kids got bored. We wil be back!!
Came out this morning to find this one while LeeLee setup for the Darley market. Nice easy find (on the third attempt). Very nice hide. Thanks for the history lesson.
Found for my Multihttps://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?guid=ddeb0a92-8c6f-4662-a94a-dd1147dce5be# month challenge. This was a great little park as my youngest daughter's favorite toy is called Darly so there was alot of photos taken. Cache was an easy find. TFTC
I had reason to be in the area today and stopped by to look at this multi. Nice little hide at GZ. That's for the replacement log! First one to sign it. Thanks for placing Sorcesal.
Cache needs maintenance! Couldn't sign the log, or indeed tell of it was a log or a clue. Very waterlogged. Thanks for bringing us here
Found it on the second try... thanks to some good spotting from Stu.
The footy was on when we we're there... unfortunately the local Darley team was being thumped by Melton.

After being led around in circles by the GPS, Cherad finally made the sneaky find. Thanks for the cache. There are some beautiful plants in these gardens. We loved looking at them and learning about some of the war history on the plaques.
Found while visiting the area with Mi5sie, This one had us going around in circles for a while, but eventually the prize was in hand, Thanks for the hide and the chance to read the history on the plaques.
Cool school holiday activity. Made us read the plaques we walked right past many times
After checking up on the progress of our new home, I decided to do a multi (Geohubby is usually with me and he doesn't like multi's, so what better time than the present!!!) Thanks for taking me to the signs and getting me to read them. Pity about the local scumbags who dumped their trash NEXT TO the bin!!! Thanks for the cache!!
Apologies for the late log but missed it somehow.
I was in Bacchus on work commtiments and had a few minutes to fill in.
Bypassed here to place a smiley.
No one in the area made collecting results a breeze.
Then a short walk and there was the log.
I signed and retreated.

Cool gardens and even though the footy was on, no-one was watching us. We got the hint and made the find quickly at GZ quickly, thanks sorceysal. The log is damp. Thanks for the cool multi.
What a lovely little park! The footy goers didn't even notice us as we went about getting our info. The hint made sense to us and we had the cache in hand quickly. The log is starting to get a bit damp. Thanks for bringing us here today sorceysal, another little local secret.

What a magical garden The variety of plants was quite astonishing and I loved the way the pathways meandered about and the seating was Stravinsky placed near the memorial plaques. After enjoying the vegetation I turned my attention to collecting all the necessary numbers. That done, a set of very likely coordinates were forthcoming. Off I headed, but searched, and searched. Almost about to give up, as even the hint shed no light on my predicament. Talk about toil and trouble. One last look and Hooray. There was that sneaky cache. Thanks so much for introducing me to this peaceful garden, even though there was a football match in full swing , I had this area to myself TFTC sorceysal
Nice camo, hidden very well and even got left over Easter eggs from an Easter egg hunt. TFTC
Found with LouiseAnn and SirJ-OZ on our last day of multi March. There was an egg hunt going on today. Tftc
This cache took us ages!! I think mostly because there was an Easter Hunt being conducted in the area at the same time. At one point we were worried that it might have been picked up by the little egg hunters. Eventually sharkiefan made the find at 2:11pm. The log was soggy.
Sharkiefan, SirJ-Oz and I headed out to collect as many multi caches around Bacchus Marsh and Melton. We had a list, and a plan that I put together to help me complete my Multi March challenge. Thanks for the cache sorceysal. This is my #23 multi for Multi March

Find #1782. Found @ 14:16 with LouiseAnn and sharkiefan.
The plan for today was to Melton, Bacchus Marsh, Sunbury and surrounding areas and strip mine them for their luscious multi-cache booty as part of our Multi-March adventure. This was find 8 of 35 for the day, with only 2 DNF over 13 hours. Multi find #27 of my Multi-March adventure.
Once again, we found ourselves in the thick of another event going on. I stayed in the car while the girls went to see if it was worth attempting with the muggle infestation in overdrive. I was called in to help search, and then sharkiefan made the find once we arrived back at the calculated GZ.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.

I have checked the cache as some say that the third plaque is missing. No it ain't. Turn around and look.

On what was primarily a canine collection course set for Bacchus Marsh, we were fortunate to have time to factor in a number of caching stops along the way. Near the posted co'ords we were faced with a conundrum - one of the plaques seems to have disappeared! Fortunately we are of an age, that there are some things we remember. The transposition done, it was off to GZ where the neat containers were in hand.
Thanks to sorceysal for the hunt.

This was find number 18 on a huge day of caching spent in and around Bacchus Marsh. We started out in Lara with an early morning flash mob event and then hit the road, caching our way towards The Marsh where we added a couple of the Ballarat crew to our number. And so with Na'wal, Frog_Lady, ThePacman, The_Tritonz, Roads75, Wozzle68, ST37E, DAB and Jacko83 we drove, walked, waded, scrambled and slid our way to a total for me of 36 caches.
This was a simple multi for us today with so many cachers present, but it was pleasant to see these pretty gardens and learn a little about the location.
Thanks sorceysal !

Found A nice easy multi for us today while driving towards the links walk. A nice garden setting that we unfortunately didn't enjoy for long as there were so many other finds on our list. One of our team had done this one which made the final a little easier for us to find
A group trip including Frog_Lady, Buckleysbabe, the Pacman, the Tritonz, Roads75, Wozzle68, ST37E, DAB, Jacko83. It was a fantastic day that we had traveling from Geelong into Bacchus Marsh. Some very clever hides were found, plenty of laughs and great company.

Found with the Geelong crew on a geocache road trip with a great bunch of folks. I was a little slow on my feet today so by the time I got to the cache I had been signed in and it had been already replaced talk about efficient cachers. Thanks for the nice Multi.
We were on a group assault up from Geelong with the company of Na'wal, Buckleysbabe, The_Pacman, Frog_Lady, Roads75, Wozzle68, ST37E, DAB, and Jacko83, with lots of fun and laughs along the way, thanks for giving us a reason to stop at these amazing gardens and thanks for the cache.
#35 Found out on a caching adventure with TR!, dbelco & ogrebeast- fellow cachers from the Geocaching Geelong District.
Discovered the gardens by torchlight. Not the easiest find in the world.
But I think we made it a little harder than it needed to be!
Lots of fun anyway. Thanks for bringing us here.
Took & left nothing.
Cheers & T.F.T.C =]
Safe travels.
Hoppy caching!

Out caching with TR!, Frog_Lady and Ogrebeast.
Worked out as much as we could but we had trouble with the last question i think. Quick google and we had the required answer. Search and searched and finally found. TFTC
