Visiting South East Queensland for a week from Port Macquarie. Today we ventured out towards Tamborine Mountain before finishing the afternoon around the Southport area. After a chilly morning, the afternoon warmth was very welcome and made for a rather pleasant day of caching. Solved a bunch of puzzles in this area in prep for this trip. Managed a quick find at all that we attempted. Thanks for the cache
Parked at a nearby side street at the end of the sound barrier. Decided to walk along the sound barrier which I thought was a bike path but turned out to a grass walk. Continued along the bike path and saw the dirt path off the side continue down the path and after a short search found the geocache. Signed that log sheet and in good condition. Had an enjoyable morning shopping and had to come out and claim thisfind. Tftc sl On a caching holiday from Mackay. In the search of old caches and ones to fill DT grid spaces. Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment with mackay_geocaching. Have mostly had clear sunny days on our trip.*Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Caching holidays with alphag_25, a small caching day today before some relaxing back at the accommodation. Nice easy find here today. TFTC
Regarding this puzzle, I must have solved this over 10 years ago, as I don't have too many notes kept. It was a research puzzle that I had solved when I was living in Adelaide, and making trips to family in the Gold Coast, and hence it became a by-chance location to visit (which obviously never eventuated, until today). Reasonable numbers came together to form the coordinates, and I had to trust that the location looked reasonable without any provided checker.I parked in a nearby side street, and I walked the nearby path to then find a trail, which led me within 15 m of GZ. I suspect that I've taken the same route that [Peppa](https://coord.info/PRAXNZZ) did from reading his log.So this was a funny story, as I quickly discovered the cache that [Peppa](https://coord.info/PRAXNZZ) found exposed, and there was no sign of the last visitor. After I placed that cache back (and that was in reasonable shape), I decided to have another walk/search around, and I then found the container that dogblower described in the middle of the log, which was about 5 m away from the other container. I'm not sure how there have been two caches to turn up here (I didn't bother to review this geocache's history), so I have removed the other container. There is now only one container with a good logbook, after I trudged with my maintenance gear to assist this cache also. There must be stagnant water nearby, as the mosquitoes were a little too happy to see me also. Thanks radnoski for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------Today, with a CITO event scheduled in the Broadwater Parklands in Southport, it was a trip south to the Gold Coast. After finding lots of rubbish around the water's edge, I ventured around to the Spit and after a short walk, it was a trip in the kayak to South Stradbroke Island across the channel. In the afternoon, I potted around Southport visiting reserves and parks, which included my highlight visiting the Brickworks Centre. At the beginning and end of the trip's travels, I visited several Locations from the [Theme Parks of South East Queensland](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/103147d5-9a5e-494c-b263-91e99988d7b8) Adventure Lab: Dreamworld, Sea World, Movie World, and WetnWild.
Well I went to the location and found a nice black painted container, but it was empty. I had nothing with me except a pen and my phone so I got a photo and decided to claim the find.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
My last find for the day before heading back to Brisbane…
I’ve had a solution here for some time thanks to quiet nights and Dr Google…
Having read the cache was in trouble I lugged my full caching pack to GZ… I was expecting a lot more bush bashing, but instead there was a well formed trail to within 10m of the cache…
Almost nine months of additional deterioration means the log is no longer usable… and the outer container isn’t long for this world, although still recognisable…
Here’s what I’ve done… put a new plastic container inside the deteriorating metal outer… put the old log into a snap lock bag and added a new log in its own snap lock bag… I hope this meets with the CO’s approval….

Well Fangsoki and I had had success at the previous puzzle, so we made our way to this one next. I picked an area to park and we began our hot journey to GZ - don’t they believe in shade on the Gold Coast?? Finally we headed off into a bit of shade and I stormed off to the likely spot to look for the cache. Alas, all that doughnut eating means poor old homer hasn’t aged too well. The bottom of the cache container has completely rusted off the top and sides, but thankfully logsheet was still present and signable. I could still make out what the container top should have looked like however.
Thanks for the cache radnoski.

Oh wow I did it! Kinda scarey on my own watching for but I was happy to see the container - was exposed and I think it was suppose to be as it was a fear just to get there!!!! Thank you for this hide.
If I had of known the cache was in such poor condition I would have replaced it.

Out finding a few caches at the Gold Coast with grannysmith1947 and Brislions. I had solved this puzzle a looong time ago. Time to turn the icon on my map into a smiley. I parked the geomobile some distance away and we took a stroll to GZ. There, the cache was quickly spotted and the log signed. TFTC
The plan for today was the Gold Coast with Selva Girls and grannysmith1947 of you can’t forget Miss Millie the geodog. We had a great day grabbing 20 caches. The break down is Letterbox, Wherigo, 2 mystery 5 multi and 11 traditional. One goal for the day was 5 types to be found.
We had lots of fun caching around the Gold Coast. Some help was needed unfortunately one DNF.
Sorry for the generic post.
Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. Radnoski TFTC *592* streak. *3634* Finds

Wow! We were ready for a long hard search! We were god smacked when we found it! So happy! To find and having it unloved! Whoo go girls! Signing with DeafPVC
Added a few things together...got a logical GZ and went exploring along the path - a lot of spiders, leaf litter and a snake but no cache...based on previous posts it may need some maintenance.
Driving towards our parking spot we saw an oasis appear in the mirage that most people call an Aldi. I was in the wrong lane to pull in so I had to undertake some creative driving to get there like a desperate gambler down to their last dollar.
We weren’t sure what the Saturday specials were but when I saw it was Father’s Day gear I was more than happy to pay their credit card surcharge. I loaded up on all the things I wanted so the kids didn’t buy any stuff like a World’s Best Dad coffee mug which isn’t big enough to hold the required amount of caffeine for your worms. I’ll probably have to wrap my own presents anyway.
We took in the colourful sights of the architecture across the road on our walk and found the burnt out cache. There was no log but Mrs Woodyrothwell popped in an old shopping list I had made her. I stamped the log sheet so the next finder might want to ignore the list for vegemite, salmon and KY lubricant. tftc

Out on the Goldie with bb after going to a local CITO, we thought we'd pick up some caches in the area. It didn't take us long to find this one, but unfortunately there were no donuts...they had been incinerated by a recent fire. Such a same because I enjoyed the cache. A new replacement container and log would be great. TFTC radnoski
I knew I might be near here today so I looked at this puzzle last night. Nice quick easy solve. GPSmith and I parked up not far from the cache and strolled right up to the hiding spot. Quick find, and a cool cache. TFTC
I was able to work out how the clues resulted in a GPS location, but was unsure of the solution (but it did turn out to be correct). However I wish there was a "geocheck.org" for this.
The cache did make the Homer Simpson and Donut reference obvious.
The cache is acceptable condition, however the cache is actually missing the notification that this is a purposely stored geocache site. This would be needed, in case the cache gets mistaken as trash.

I'd solved this one a few weeks ago but could never figure out where to park to access the cache. I had a little free time today and parked up nearby-ish, and walked over to make the quick find. It was still a fairly long walk and I'm sure that there were closer spots nearby but it was a nice area to walk in.
I picked up the lonely TB from the cache.

Found this one at 8:29pm with ness&kadin92. Thanks for this! We had it solved months ago and even though I go to uni right next door, never had to time to come get it, so we did tonight. Nice shot walk to GZ to find an awesome container, added our names and we're on our way. Thanks again!
Solved this ages ago then lost the final co-ords. After quickly resolving we were set to go. Found at 8:29pm with Gracieebell. Left a TB
Mmmmmmmmm donuts .....
I found myself in the area today so i ensured i brought along the ransom. I was both pleased and relieved to confirm that the decrypted rendevouz point was not a false lead and I was able to trade breifcases with in site operatives to secure the donuts release.
Perhaps homer will understand that i (may) lack will power and (may) steal one of his donuts. I am as bad as he is around their sweet sweet donutness.
Thankyou for the puzzle and cache here radnoski this was a pretty cool location to explore.

I'm holidaying on the Gold Coast this week and given the greater density of caches here than at home, I figured a day spent chasing caches, with a local geo-buddy, to qualify for the Unique Difficulty/Terrain Challenge would be a fun thing to do.
And a fun day it was ... although it was also a long, tiring day that I'm very pleased is over! The best part is, though, that we managed to achieve what we set out to do ... get 25 finds, each with different DT rating, in a day and all of them within a ~5km radius of Ashmore.
This was a find we didn't need to make ... but hey, our odyssey brought us close to this GZ and we couldn't just pass it by without checking it out ... you know how it is! Thanks for the cache radnoski, and for the bonus smiley.

I had solved this puzzle some time ago and finally had the chance to come by and pick this up as I was early for an afternoon of lectures. It was a warm but pleasant stroll to GZ and the cache was found quickly in good condition. The container was....unexpected! Thanks for the puzzle.
Solved over lunch with The Hunting Rabbit... no donuts however...

I agreed to do some caches including tree climbing. The tour should be around 10 caches. That sounds easy. In the end we were 8 geocachers who did the challenge of finding 25 geocaches with unique D/T rating. We spend 14 hours of the day geocaching and it was such a fabulous day!
Out with a group of caches to achieve the 25 caches Unique D/T Rating Challenge. After about 11 hours we had found our 25. Great day but quite warm.
I wonder if Homer would like geocaching? Thanks Radnoski for the puzzle and cache.

Nice quick find, enjoyed the research into this one even though I am not a big fan. TFTC
Never having been a big fan of the Simpson's I left the research of this one to Rusty85 we then worked together to put it into co-ords and it could then be added to our list for today. Interesting to find a park now with the works across the road. TFTC
Not much parking along Smith Street, so we all opted to park on the footpath and car drivers remain while the others hunt.
Interesting cache outer container. All in good order.
Found at 1.45pm on 17th February 2016. TFTC.

We wandered through the path and the cache was soon located.
Signed the log and returned to where we found it.

What do I know about The Simpsons? Doh! Not much really. I'm so glad and thankful I've met a very helpful geocacher to work this out. I'm equally glad I don't have to find this on my own, Snickersallan! Too many spiders! Thanks for paving the way and not getting me some web facials. Why do they have to spread it across a footpath?
Nice walk from 8 legged beast! TFTC Radnoski! Lovely cache! Now I know more about the Simpsons. I look forward to your next episodes.

A new weekend and a new day to be out gathering up solved puzzles and other caches to help me meet my personal goal of improving my D rating. Found with Drumsandspace on a lovely morning of caching together. A short traipse through the woods and the cache was in hand. 2nd puzzle cache of the day! TFTC.
Out for a day of caching and errands and sightseeing with bristracker. I worked on the coordinates and then checked with the CO who set me straight. Thanks radnoski! Nice lunch box!!
I've had this cache solved for a while and took the time to find it today. I cleared the cobwebs for the next geocacher. LOL Log is dry. Tin is wet and rusty. I emptied it of water but didn't have time to dry it. TFTC

Third attempt. Tried approaching from a different direction. Spotted a likely hiding spot and there it was. Mmmm donuts. TFTC.
Out and about today with T-tech, teamdfl and IolantheK.
What an early start today for a morning event in Beaudesert for PI Day.
Then we found a few caches before going to another event at Yatala.
After that was a third event on the Gold Coast ( we were a little late but hey ).
The social butterflies that we are.
BUT .. we also need an unknown cache to get an extra souvenir.
And just to be sure we found a second unknown cache. ( teamdfl is Scottish. )
A little searching but with four of us looking we eventually found it ... the professional cachers that we are.
Thanks for the cache.

This cache and a few others had been on my radar for some time. However, after having had a bit of a drama with the last mystery cache I tried to solve I had been procrastinating somewhat. Today was the day. I did a little research and came up with a set of numbers that didn't look right.
Ask a friendly cacher buddy for a pointer and suddenly I was on the right page. Numbers calculated and the final location looked promising. Now I was on a roll! I solved a few more puzzles then invited aforementioned buddy along for the cache hunt. This one was quickly found safe and sound. A neat puzzle and TFTC. TNLN. SL. Awarding a favourite point for restoring my faith in mystery caches!

Let me just say that I am NOT a Simpsons fan but it was a cache to be had so I set about solving it.
I had read the logs of both Simpsons Puzzles and it was obvious that this one was easier so I attacked it first.
I had some idea as to what was required but it was still getting to me UNTIL I got on the right website and half my battle was won.
Now what is the missing factor........... OH Of course that plus that equals that YES!!!!!
Coords were forthcoming and my spirits lifted as they did, I can still solve puzzles!!!!
I had had the pleasure of solving it so I thought I would pass on the pleasure of finding it to my darling Geo Wife who doesn't get as much caching in as I do.
And since I was tied up it was the perfect time for her to go and do it, and fill in a date on our calendar.
She scanned the approaches after I had suggested one last night (not really looking hard enough) and came up with a better one.
It was a nice formed track, easy walking and she stopped just at the right spot to see the side track and after that it was just a short walk and a bit of side stepping and she had the cache in hand.
She liked the container and the cool hide so close to suburbia.
Thanks Radnoski TFTC SL TNLN

I had some time spare between meetings on the Gold Coast today so I set this one as a target to grab. I had solved it quite some time ago with my friend google. I almost could have solved it with my DVD collection... I was a big Simpsons fan.... I still use many quotes that may now be but butchered a little with the passing of time like " just because I don't care, doesn't mean I don't hear you" and "beer, is there any problem it can't solve nor create". Cheers Radnoski, had better get back to it now.
Found with Poynts95 and Sportacuss. This was solved quickly, being a big simpsons fan, didn't really help though. Just thought id run with an idea, and whammo, coords. Nice walk on the day of finding, and a small bush bash, but cache found all good, just a little damp inside. TFTC.
I managed to fond a sneeky park then quickly headed for GZ. I had wanted to collect this one for awhile but just haven't gotten around to it. So with a spider stick in hand I made my way into the bush. In such a hurry I went straight past it, looked at Gps and thought Doh! Turned back and found it safe and dry. Mmmm Donuts, I do love a good donut. SL and raced back to the geotruck.

I had left this one too long to do. The puzzle was done quickly - but I just hadn't ventured to the Gold Coast for a while. I decided, while I had a spare moment, to grab a couple of Radnoski's puzzles.
Dare I say it, Radnoski and I think alike - and I enjoyed doing these puzzles. With an answer sorted, I put it into the GPSr for later. I made my way to the area today and after a stress-free inspection of the area, I came up with the clever and appropriate container. The cache was in great condition. I dropped in a trackable and re-hid it as found.

I have a Simpsons mad friend. He could probably have solved this one easily. I knew what was needed and a quick bit of research soon gave me the answer. A short detour off the bike path today took me to GZ. a quick hunt at GZ revealed all. Nice container

you know, the new Radnoski puzzles!! Apparently Mr LLJ is coming down and that is on the plan for the day!! OK, so I print off the pages and start the research.
Well, this one was easily solved and on the day there was bit of drizzle as we arrived at GZ. Mr LLJ had a bit of a cache opeining fail, but we sorted that out quickly.
Great container!! Thanks Radnoski.

I have never sat down and watched an entire Simpsons episode, but somehow, I know an awful lot about them. Some things are just impossible to avoid . With a bit of research, I had the answers to this puzzle. Seems these bug-eyed cartoon characters have taken over as much internet as television.
Arrived at an appropriate parking location with "PigWig2" and "Agap2" this morning. We set off for a pleasant stroll and a couple of finds. Loved the outer cache container ... very appropriate [^]. Lucky Mr Gap was there to help as I tried to open the wrong end [B)].

What a great puzzle. Having come up with a likely set of numbers we decided to stop by this afternoon and try our luck. After finding a way to access the area we went for a meandering family stroll. We even passed by some young local wildlife which StephanieK was particularly fond of.
Thanks to radnoski for the cache.
