Found while out for a morning of Duck hunting with friends the 2N's from Canberra

I went to one spot while Lazarus went to another, I had the logged the find and replaced the cache before Lazarus even noticed, had to let him know where it was in the end. Nice easy one this time around, thanks for replacing it dusc43.
After trying and failing What Next for the third time contributed on treadly for a quick find here tftc
Today found a wooden post with hole down centre, white tub stuffed deep down, unable to retrieve.
Caching with Col117 and KB today on bikes, did a trip round the water. Great route with great views and superb caches. Not sure what happened here , found a very likely spot but no cache.
Our first duck hunt was well over due, caught up with the ValoForce with perfect weather.
Geo ValoForce with the find

Great hide but busy with boating muggles. Another well constructed cache. Thanks duck. Log is slightly damp and almost full. Another fav.
What started out as attempting a couple of duck caches on the Saturday, turned into a three day bender of duck hunting. Decided to come back up on the Sunday to tackle some of the caches along the river in Applecross. Then conveniently my car went in for service in Vic Park on the Monday, so that equalled more duck hunting while waiting for the car. Still plenty more to find even after the three day bender, can't wait to come back to find more!
Nice easy find for this one, not sure if it was meant to be attached to the object I removed or not? TFTC

Found at 16:00. Second visit for this one and eventually put geomum moved the right piece of scenery to reveal the very sneaky hide. Love the way this is so in the open...but not. Thanks.
Third DNF of the day! Just the way it goes sometimes! Didnt have too long to search but did find a low down location that matched the hint. Looking closely it seemed promising but I couldn't see anything and wasn't prepared to stick my long arm in there , -maybe on our next visit. Thanks.
Find 18 of 26 on a super bike ride around the Deep Water Point inlet in the company of ask277 and our geokids.
Three quick caches in duck country for Mr. and Mrs. O. to find that ask277 had already found. There was a slight element of smirking as the olthomas team looked for each of them but they were all found in short order for a change. Mr. O. went straight to this one.
TFTC duck 43!

Took a while for the GPS to settle but had the cache in hand not too long later TFTC
I was feeling a little defeated after AusLoron was first to locate the other Duck caches on our riverside walk. However, as we approached GZ I knew exactly where I wanted to look first. I have often checked this kind of object for this type of hide, since I though it would be such a sneaky idea, but this was the first time I've been right. Very satisfying to beat Loron to it. TFTC
This cache marked the end of my duck streak, Elrin and I both had good leads on where we thought it would be but it was Elrin's lead that paid off! she had the cache in hand in literally seconds, and we were fortunate enough to have the path to ourselves to sign the log and for Elrin to put in a little swappable
After having such good luck caching all day with Sqwash, I decided to come back and fix one of my DNFs. I was focused on a decoy (whether intentional or not), and then decided to broaden my search. Found after that

Lucky to find this one in almost the first place we looked. Great hide. We always enjoy finding duck caches.TFTC!
If someone else finds it jammed. Please accept it as a find, write a log as found, and I will take a look.
Wow! - as always the cache is in the last place I looked - it'd be nice it was always in the first place. At any rate - it was a short search and a quick find for me today. SL - no swaps. Thanks to duck_43 for the cache.
Literally parked right next to this cache when cravo, barnzy and myself went to get FTF for the nearby cache "on the canning" on Feb 21st, must've been too preoccupied to see if there were any other caches around! TFTC
Quick find by geo son. Never knew this boat ramp existed, enjoying an evening walk by the river. TFTC.
Out geocaching around the Canning river looking for Duck43 caches this morning with shlj, howardwgreen, findhope and fljolly. This one took a while but the father of the shlj partnership soon had this one in hand. Very clever. tftc.
Loved the location of this cache, and was very clever. Took us a while but eventually found it and did in fact use our long arms. TFTC
Out caching around Canning River with ask277, fljolly1801, findhope and howardwgreen. We mostly found Duck43s today and this was another great one, I don't know how you think of them but you do.
Spent a while searching until we went back to precisely GZ, and right next to where we put our bags was the cache. Nice hide, TFTC

Down on the South side of the river for a ride and to grab some new and forgotten caches.
This was a bit tricky not just because it is a "duck" hide, but because the car park was busy with boat muggles. Scratched around a little bit, and then spotted something promising... There it was! Thanks for the efforts duck 43!

During my work and travel year in Australia I'm trying to solve my 365 days of caching challenge. Having a moving home zone should make this definitely way easier.
On the World Wide Multi Event - Perth, Western Australia I've seen the Periodic Table power trail and thought, I would give it a try. So today I took the train to Bull Creek and cached my way north to Canning Bridge.
MOST of the caches were found fast and easy, duck 43's mostly took a bit longer
Due to the lack of hiding spots I found the box on the first try.
I had this idea in Germany myself, but never found an object like this, where it is possible.
TFTC and greetings from Germany

It was a perfect day today Lovely weather, amazing caches, pleasant bike rides through all the beautiful places around the river.
Thank you very much for this experience and I really apreciate your creativity and skill in making your caches.

This one was a nice find. The one between here and Canning Bridge will have to wait! I am on a duck 43 cache roll and enjoying every one of them!
Nice camo. TFTH

Quick find for the first of 5 attempted along this side of the river. Nice easy one to start today's trip
Headed out this morning to grab as many of the caches around the river as we could. Goorjus69 and I parked at the southern end of the Mt Henry bridge and we were joined halfway around by T-Mack2. Very enjoyable morning out on the bikes, I found 18 with 3 DNFs. TFTC duck 43
Previous logs certainly helped with this one, as well as the long and not too fat arm. T4TC Duck
Went on a caching run down the freeway. 26/28 found. Log was soaked and the ziplock had a hole, had my geobag with me so replaced the log and the zipbock bag, Quick find (luckily I have long arms) otherwise improv may be needed, TFTC.
Had to go up to do some shopping in South Perth in the morning and with the promise of some sunshine before the storms in the afternoon, we decided to walk the Canning River bridge to bridge loop. Started at Pt Henry bridge and went across the river and down the eastern side then back across the river at Canning Bridge. Got to Deep Water point before the first down pour, which made the last dash a wet one
16 caches and only 1 DNF and a great range of hides including many duck43 caches - so we were very please with our 3.5 hr stroll . A couple left due to the rain, so will be back another weekend to finished them off.
Arm was long enough, just the hole was not big enough round . Luckily we had a "tool" in the caching bag which enabled extraction. The log was damp but signable, so dried out as best able before replacing.
Thanks for the cache duck 43 [^]

Found on an early morning bike ride, just as the sun was rising. Beautiful rainbow in the western sky as I rode off. Thanks for the cache.
Took the family for a ride around the bridges and managed a few caches along the way. TFTC
Scrapped my hand while extracting the cache so marked the log with a bit of blood.
Gorgeous day, nice easy find (provided you have one long arm). Actually bumped into Duck43's brother who was passing by- and was careful not to give it away . Thanks Duck for another cache in a good spot.
Brave grab from geogirl after clever spotting geoboy. TFTC, dare we say slightly un-ducklike....
My right elbow is testament to my efforts to retrieve this one. In spite of pleas from Golalady to photo the cache I persevered and came up trumps. Had to use an extension to my long arm.
Feel like I'm repeating myself here but another cache that did not disappoint- thanks Duck43
On an awesome day out bike riding with my family, jasenjanine & MNS13, Justintime13, Kyzabra, Cee-Kay-2003, m4yb, megawat60, Granett, Hiddo, jinta29 & Percival Mastiff we found this cache... Thanks duck 43
Headed out on this glorious day for a ride around the bridges with a select few from the Geocaching WA Group... After tagging along for quite a few caches I had previously found, I was now in new Duck Territory
Unfortunately for me, I was still dragging the chain with Master 2 in the little bike trailer when I arrived here to find that Jinta29 had made the find TFTC Duck 43!

We met up with several other cachers to grab a few smileys around this area. There was a great variety of caches and hiding spots and we ended up having no DNF's and about 25 found . We were all on cycles and the loop took just under four hours
I was able to grab this one and sign the log. TFTC duck43

Found during our group bike ride on both sides of the canning River, and what a great day this was: perfect weather, and a great group of enthusiastic geocachers of all ages. Add to this, the most imaginative caches! Luckily, Mr Jinta had the required attribute to make this find! TFTC duck43!
A great day and a great group of peoples for a ride around the bridges picking up a few duck 43's and a few others.
Love the decoy and just so glad Mr Jinta made this find. Thanks duck 43

Headed up towards perth today to meet up with a bunch of other cachers to tackle some of the hides up here, in Duck country.
We had a very successful day with 25 finds all up, taking about 4 hours on the geo-cycles.
The amount of thought and work that has gone into these caches, is nothing short of amazing. Thanks for the cache Duck 43

A nice afternoon planned out riding the river from Canniong Highway, down to Mt Henry bridge.
The crew consisted of Kyzabra, Hiddo, Jasenjanine, MNS13, Jinta29, M4YB, Megawatt60, Granett, Jnr cachers Ceekay2003, Justintime13, Dangermouse09, and a couple of muggle kids as well.
It must have been an ominous look for anyone else on the bike path today. All the people stopping at random locations.
Mr Jinta made the find here. After a false start, he had the prize.

Had a great day today on a joint bike ride around the bridges, about twenty bikes in total, including the kids. According to my Garmin I did 12 km at an average speed of 9.1km/h over a period of nearly 4 hours, with a well earned ice-cream at the end!
I got introduced to the "duck 43" hide style today and was glad to have the extra eyes about because I think I would have been struggling on my own.
I am able to claim about 23 finds in all with a couple of puzzle caches to solve before logging them officially.
Safety in numbers definitely works while geocaching, on arrival at a GZ the muggles end up being the ones feeling weird as a group of twenty or so people arrive in their area and seem to be on a mission for something. I saw a few fishermen and walkers scratching their heads this afternoon.
jinta29 had the log in hand here when I arrived.

This cache has been muggled. I have patched it up and will leave it available until I can find time to fix it . It is now an easy hide but an interesting one.

This was one of the easier finds on our walk across the bridges. Arrived at gz and saw the hide at once.
Will do the remaining Duck 43 caches alonf the river within the next days.
