As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 14 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

I was with 4 other Geocachers from Hamilton and we called in here twice, the first time there were way to many muggles about so we returned later once it was nice and quiet. Two of our team had found this one previously and with some 20,000 finds between us we were confidant of a find-however we had no luck here today and left empty handed, I guess we need more practice....or it might pay for the CO to check on this one.
Searched a while with Tigatat2 with no result. As this hasn't been found this year suggest CO does a check. Thanks.
Had a good looksee,, no cache to be found. My 3rd cache site this morning after visiting 'Persimmon Lane' cafe for coffee with friends.
Nice little church here and so quiet today can hear the birds singing. Quick find tftc
Did not find. Was with fellow geocacher who had previously found a few months ago think it been muggled.
Found it. Went back for second look further away than hint so have replaced it back to original spot. TFTC.
Wet rainy start to the day but nice little find. Made the classic mistake of just reading the hint - couldn't seem to find the cache until we went back to read the full description. Once we knew the size of the container is was geocache eyes on and straight to it

Todays weather was so unpredictable, sunny, then 5 mins later raining again, then sunny again. Thankfully it was dry when we reached the church. My sidekick was out of the car and cache in hand before I could even read the clue out. tftc
Down here on a house hunting trip with a friend and we had time between viewings to pick up a few caches. I saw this one before I even hopped out of the car so left it covered so it couldn't be seen.
Found with our Scout Group - now quite a few of them are keen to start geo-caching.
Headed over this was with Kiwis69 to head to a certain birthday rave in a cave. We set off from Hamilton just on dark and grabbed some caches on the way to fill in time
K69 parked nice and close and I could leap out and make a quick find without disturbing anyone. Looks like a lovely wee church. Grabbed the TB as he was getting a little jammed in this cache and needed to stretch his legs. Thanks for showing us this area.

Taking a circuitous route from Hamilton with 11hpg11 so that we can have a few hours' child-free caching binge on our way to a geocaching birthday rave in cave. Less chance of muggles at this hour too and good fun to test the caching senses in the dark. No-one around which made for an easy search here & 11hpg11 quickly came up with the goods. Cache all good, TFTC
neat lil find, with first time cachers. left a lil friend to travel on with others. TFTC
What an amazing, beautiful old church! This is one of the things I love about caching would of never come across this place without it! The hint pretty much made it a quick park and grab but stopped to take a few photos and Kiwijade ran over the road to get some pics of some calfs! Awesome day out Te Puna clearing the area of caches today! TFTC
A nice quick park and grab while passing through cleaning up the caches in the Omokoroa, Te Puna area. Thanks for showing us this cool old church and TFTC!
Another history lesson and hey, why not?! It is 9am and there are no holidays for a geocacher. Really interesting going through a Church with such strong ties to the Maori. 115 years old and still in good nick too! Cache found quickly and in good condition - Cheers again Tparty.
Thanku, thanku, thanku for bringing me here. I just love GC's that have places of history & genuine interest. A Fav for this
What a lovely setting with a beautiful little church someone was getting the flowers ready for church so I took a photo of the stain glass Window tftc
A lovely church with a beautiful stained glass window, many thanks for the interesting history lesson and for the cache.
Had some time to kill after work - nice church - had the local rooster parading around. Tftc
Out collecting a few caches before the BBQ event at Kulim Park later on and trying as best I can to clear out this part of the BOP,
managed to make my exit just as a couple of car loads of muggles appeared to take an interest in the church

beautiful little church, quick find with no one around on a beautiful summers day
It was a day to got sightseeing over the Bay way today and pick up the odd cache on the way. Cachers should aways keep the faith in their own way.
Cheers for the cache.

We enjoyed a visit to this picturesque church on a lovely spring day, and there was a great view across to the Mt from the end of the road. We appreciated the hint to help us find this well-hidden cache. TFTC!
It was my first visit to this part of Te Puna. Had no idea there was this historic church here.
Many thanks for the cache and the excellent notes about the history.

We're glad we got up early and made the 9am service. This was the best way to appreciate such a beautiful, old church. They had a separate children's activity in the adjacent building which the kids seemed to enjoy too. Met a few of the friendly locals who say the third Sunday of each month is the best service because it is predominately in Maori and apparently the singing is superb. (Note: no service on first Sunday of each month - Bethlehem instead.) Thanks for bringing us out here and TFTC. #94

Were in need of a break from caching after a big caching weekend up north, wanting to round things off we needed to find 5 more local caches to bring our weekend total up to 120 finds, this was find #116 and we know just the cache for #120 (only to have a letterbox published just after we left.....
Great spot for a cache, we have only been down this road a couple of times before, well worth the detour.
