Today out and about on 237 of 274 days to get my daily cacher Emerald Using my Garmin Etrex 22X and MacBook Air!Thanks for the cacheTFTC
Came up to Adelaide with a group of close friends to watch the 'Chicago' musical last night, what a fantastic show it was. We had some time to kill before heading to Stangate House in the hills for a High Tea on the way home, so hevwalker, TT016, Sonya and myself headed out from our nearby hotel to get some more Cosmic points, Found after a delicious and relaxing high tea and walk around the gardens. hevwalker had already found this one so TT016 and I went searching, we had it in hand quickly and replaced ready to find another before heading towards home. The area looks like it was mowed not that long ago but I dug around a bit and the cache is still safely nestled underneath. TFTC Illudium
Thanks for the cache. Out with a few muggles enjoying the beautiful autumn colours yesterday.
Had to chat to the garden volunteers as they were curious….and the next open garden is on the 20th. Nice find for we beginners.
Found another tube near it and thought it was the cache, but after looking at the photos, decided it wasn't the cache, eventually found it after 1 minute, log book and cache in good condition. TFTC
Cache was replaced today by a relative, however I was not aware of the throwdown placed 4 days earlier, and neither was my relative. As the original camo is no longer there the actual cache is about 1 meter away. If you find a cache that does not have a yellow screw top lid, it is not the real cache! Will endeavour to get teh throwdown removed. Sorry for the confusion...
After todays ice cream event, I wandered the area collecting a few trads and multi's. This one was quickly found, although it was just a zip lock bag full of rubbish and a book. The book was two sheets, I am guessing left by a recent finder.
I have replace the whole cache, book and camo, hopefully the next finder will have a nicer experience. Thanks for the cache IlludiumPU36

Spending the day exploring the Adelaide Hills and picking up some geocaches along the way. Today I was concentrating on filling empty cells for the 360 degree from home challenge and rectifying a few previous DNFs.
A quick find in the likely spot.
Thanks for the cache IlludiumPU36.

A quick enough find however the damp wet logbook is in need of replacing. Thankyou for the cache IlludiumPU36 found 16 December 2020 14:17
A caching day had been organised with Doctor Owl and sushilord primarily to find an Earthcache for all of us up in the hills then just meander around finding caches that one or other of us hadn't found or ones we drove past. [^] We started in Aldgate and ended up in Mt Barker and had a fun day wandering around the hills stopping for a very nice lunch in Mt Barker.
A quick find for me as the others had already found this one.
Thanks for the cache IlludiumPU36.

This evening with looming COVID-19 lockdown impacts growing closer every day, I was still determined to head out for some fitness whilst we still had the freedoms. Hence, this evening, I decided to head to do a few jogs and runs around the areas of Stirling, Aldgate, and Bridgewater. The weather wasn't the best with it being a little drizzly, which probably helped to explain why I didn't see any other joggers around also. Just a few locals walking dogs, or walking along the roads carrying their shopping around. There were a few geocaches along the way that hadn't been found in quite some time, which also decreased any risk of COVID-19 transmission. Some nice areas about.
Stangate House appears to be quite the hills' secret, as I had never heard of it before. I made a quick stop off here onwards to some more parks and areas, and it did take a few minutes to search, but eventually made the find where it matched the hint. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks IlludiumPU36 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
