I cannot see any information that suggests to me that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement - one or more of the following applies:
- Cache Owner unable to maintain cache
- No response from the cache owner.
- No cache to find or log to sign.
- It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.
- Cache has been abandoned by cache owner/cache in disrepair
As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to also prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the next 28 days, just contact a reviewer (by email and include GC number in cache name) and, assuming it still meets the current guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.
If there are components or remnants of the cache and you haven't already done so, please return to the GZ and collect the cache (or remnants). We don't want to litter our environment with Geotrash.
Should you wish to replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

Couldn't find it but we shall return. Very wet access from the west in winter. Better to come at it from the south. Tricky types those Mahersters! Wozzaw & EleanorW
Didn't find it, very wet area and very smelly, might have been the way I entered the area. Need to be very thin to get around one bit of the fence. Another try in summer might work
This one eluded me today after an extensive search. Hopefully I get another crack at it sometime.
Loved the camo and the hint, but after such a hot day, time to end the day with an ice cream
I found the hidden track and the hidden valley and after a good hunt and read of some logs, your clever cache. I wasn't thinking it would be hidden like that at all.
Last cache of the day for me
Thanks Mahersters

Out this morning for a spot of adventuring with sulkybear and our 2 geokids (aged 3 & 5). Thanks for the clue as GPS had us at end of road. With the clue we split up and easily found cache. Great camo. Thanks for the hide and bringing us down an unknown road.
This is a hidden little valley indeed. Wandering along following the needle, I stopped to let it settle and what do you know there it was! A nice little hide. The log was pulp, so I have removed it and put a new one in its place.
Thanks to Mahersters for placing this cache.

Found with The 2 Wanderers on a caching day in Ballarat. Saw a variety of plants, but the animals must have been hiding today. A good hide, but had difficulty signing the wet log. TFTC
What a lovely little spot that we did not know existed. A good hide. Log was very damp but we managed to put our names on it. This cache definitely needs new log.

Found by Mary & David at 1035. We're not fans of pampas, which was very much in evidence here. Other than that, we really enjoyed this out-of-the-way place. Even on a day of severe weather clichés, there was beauty here. Spotted the cache after a short search. Despite the type of container used, the log was wet, and we just managed to leave our log. Our thanks to Mahersters.
Nice quick one after reading through the logs. Had a spare bison so put that in there to protect it. Didn't have a spare log though so that will need replacing. Very clever thanks for this one
We done this one today while doing some caching in Ballarat, log was to wet to write on, so we put a new piece of paper in it, needs to be kept off the ground, TFTC
Thanks for this cool cache. Found after a while. Great cache. Log damp needs attention.
Natural camo, same as Like A Needle! Thanks for hint from Lucy, made easier when you know it's there and that you are looking for familiar cache. Still needs a bung CO! TFTC Mahersters.
Tftc. Loved the camo!! Desperately in need of maintenance though, unable to sign log as it had completely solidified as the ink from previous people has turned to powder
Did not enjoy scrambling around between two trees my GPS could not decide upon. Neither had a hint of fun park. What is this meant to mean, can you please explain? Shall return if the cache is still there!
Found on a beautiful spring day out sans dog. The log is soaking wet... log holder has no bung. Hint confused me - have no idea how it relates to the hide. TNLN. TFTC Mahersters
Je me gare pas très loin de la cache, et arrivé au gz je met la main dessus rapidement !
Merci, beau boulot pour la cache

Found with mada1234 and rest of my clan. Nice lilttle spot great little hide thanks
Found with Mr Prezz and family. Not much room left on this log so it's initials only for us both today. Thanks for a cunning hide
A days caching with Dutch Frangipani before attending the Mid October Event. It was a cold a rainy day in Ballarat but we managed to soldier on a grab a few caches before attending the event.
Certainly is a Hidden Valley here. Managed to drive to almost GZ to find this sneaky hide.
Thanks for the cache Mahersters

Out and about today with Sorceysal to do some more Ballarat caches we were yet to find. It was freezing and wet today but we managed to have a fun day as always. The clue was very helpful with this one - clever little hide. Thanks Mahersters.
We beat the rain today to find this cache.
We parked at the turn off and walked 160m in as the road looked too slipery for our little car.
The cache was a very clever one and an easy find due to spot on Coordinates.
Thanks for placing the cache in this little out of the way spot.

This was a very clever hide we were looking at the cache wondering if that was it. We got it and with some finger skills we got the log out.

The GPS was jumping around a bit so had a look at the hint, but that didn't help at all. Luckily found the cleverly hidden cache soon enough just after. Tftc Mahersters.
Nice hide. Left our bag of tricks at home today, so had a bit of difficulty extracting the log from the cache! Luckily, we found something suitable in the car.
Nice hide. Why is it always harder to get things to go back from where they came. TFTC
We were lucky to get the geomobile. to within a few metres of gz.
Top spot and sneaky hide.
Many thanks for the effort.

Suscoe's 22nd find of the day and we are still enjoying the sunshine.
A nice walk to gZ and after doing one lap GZ was focussed on and the cache was spotted.
Logs signed and after a short battle with the bag to get it out.
Thanks to Mahersters for bringing us here. Nice job!

We were out caching with Motndarg this afternoon, we poked around for a while. Finally a find was made and only then did the clue make sense. The GZ was spot on. Thanks for the hide. It is a cleverly designed cache.
Very tricky hiding, we couldn't make sense of the clue until we actually found it and then we had a good chuckle, very clever! Some stealth was required due to muggles and their furry companions eyeing us suspiciously from the yard overlooking the area!
Log was jammed in tight but a stick was all it took to maneuver it from it's place.

Took a little while to get into the geo mode. Finally the geo sense kicked in and the log was signed. Thought that was a different use for this item.

Been dying to find a cache like this and it was as much fun as I thought it would be. TFTC
A great hide, I picked it up and put it down before realizing what it was. Thanks for the Cache.
The cache is all good, but the lid has been placed in backwards. The correct way is with the black facing down, or it is almost impossible to get out.
Please remember to replace the cache exactly where you found it.

Another legendary cache run by The Demolition Crew (myself, TrailRunning, Quasar3671 and Rebel Acts). We have dubbed it Ballarat Smackdown II. This was a huge run taking us all the way from near Cardinia, via the northern suburbs of Melbourne, to Bacchus Marsh and Melton and finally Ballarat. A massive loop, and over 100 caches for the run. The company was as always fantastic, a lot of laughs, good dinner, and great caches. Many thanks to all the CO's for the hides, without them we wouldn't have been able to find anything.
The Ruddman was right onto this one. Found quick. TFTC.

This was one of over 110 caches I found during a huge day and night of caching with my fellow cachers Trailrunning, Rebel Acts and Blacklegend (The Demolition Crew). As we all had the day free we carefully planned in advance the run and decided to call it Ballarat Smackdown II. The plan was ambitious and resulted in almost 22 hours of continual caching.
The day started in the early hours of the morning in the far eastern suburbs of Melbourne, then moving through the northern suburbs then onto and along the Western Freeway to Enfield State Forest then north up to Ballarat itself. We cached through Melton, Pykes Reservoir and Bacchus Marsh and many of the country roads north and south of the Western Freeway as we made our way west.
We had a fantastic day finding all the different types of caches and there were some quite inventive, very tricky and well constructed hides that we found. I thank all the cache owners for the time and effort they have spent in placing all the caches we found today.

This was, cache # 100 of 117 finds for the day in the company of The Demolition Crew. Nice hide that Marty guessed. My thanks to Mahersters for the cache.
This cache was found by me today in the company of The Demolition Crew.
While I strive to make my logs personal to every cache, I have far too many logs to do, that I apologise in this instance for using a generic log. I thank you for the placement of this cache as it was one of many that made up a great day for me and the crew..
The Day's Blurb...
The annual holidays is always a great time to relax and take it easy, but not today. The Demolition Crew had decided that after such a long break from caching together that we would start the year off with a bang! So the planning minds were put into operation, and Ballarat Smackdown II was conceived.
The smackdown started along way from Ballarat, in fact in the hills around Cardinia Reservoir and from there is was a push across the northern suburbs of Melbourne through Melton & Bacchus Marsh. It being such a hot day, the waters of Pykes Creek Reservoir cooled and refreshed us, and we were soon off to start on the Ballarat caches.
Since our first Smackdown in the area, many new caches have popped up, so it was a fruitful run which ended well into the early morning. A couple of caches were replaced as a way of saying thanks to those who took the time to place them, and I think in the end my tally was well over 100 for the run.
It was a completely awesome day, and I thank you for placing the cache. We will return to the Ballarat area soon as there are still a number of caches we left undiscovered.

What a way to spend New Years Day! Gotta love it when a new cache comes up that is so close to your home!! Geokid made the find and was most impressed! (after grumping his way originally into the car, not impressed that we had
to stop playing game). Leakymermaid was visiting with us and so shared the First to Find (her first). Great start to the year! Thanks for the hide!
