After a great night camping on the river bank a few hundred metres from here, we were now heading back home after our quick trip to sunny Mildura to pick up our flash new camper trailer.Dad wandered across to this one after navigating the soccer mum car close enough for a short stroll and an easy turn around point. Now this is where it got interesting for a while as I couldnt find a damn thing at the POI, I looked all over the shop, until I stood back for a minute to reassess and..whats that over there on the ground?..Turns out it was the cache container lying way out on the ground a fair way from the tree.dont know how it sprang legs and got there, but it was still in good nick and everything inside was as dry as a chip, so I wrote my name in the logsheet and hid it back in the host at a spot I thought was a good hidey hole, whether that is the original spot, I dont know, but at least its hidden away now.
Southern Autumn adventure Day 60. Mildura Trip Day 9. The time had come to start heading home, but I did not want to go directly and was keen to visit Echuca to finish the River Travel Adventure labs. It turned into a long day and it started with some detours as I started south to get my first batch of caches done. Then I set out following the navigation device and let me say, it is not the way I would have gone, there were some very narrow roads, but no dirt. I then passed a county I had not been to before, but missed the Map section I needed, that was annoying. My day ended with a walk around Echuca for a few caches and the LABs along the water front. It was well and truly dark by the time I reached my roadside camp for the night.
This was my biggest detour along this road, and I was happy to find all but one along here.
Thanks for the cache Mebclever

Not a track to attempt in a sedan after rain, best to leave on dry land and walk the short distance to GeoZone. Nice quick find. TFTC.
We had left Mildura and were heading towards our next campsite, or so we thought. We didn't realise that no road was 2WD that went through Hattah Kulkyne National Park towards Wemen. We could certainly think of worse places to head than this area. It is so peaceful and quiet out here. We left the main road and then jumped out of the geomobile to find this cache. We did contemplate camping near here, but we wanted to be in Robinvale bright and early to have our mandatory COVID tests, so we left this serene spot and drove on. The cache is in excellent condition. Thank you for this cache Mebclever.
What a beautiful sunny day for a drive. The wind is a bit chilly though. Geo daughter found this one easily without me even telling her where to go! TFTC!
TFTC. We had come to Mildura for a few days escape from being travel restricted. We were to meet good friends muff1 but as they would not be here until lunchtime, we went out caching.
A Cold windy morning, at least it was not raining.

It was decided that less rough roads might be the go for a while. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. Thanks for the cache.

Day seven of a camping road trip with Papi4506, Geoturtle37 & RoamingHowie.
Change of scenery today as we head south-east towards Swan Hill.
As Sebastian was dropping bits and pieces all over the place, we decided to take to the bitumen for a while.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache, Mebclever

The geocaching holiday continues with OzHockeyChick, Papi4506 & GeoTurtle37. A week so far of firsts, milestones, learning and plenty of laughs!
Ok so there is always time for one more (or 7 more). A quick find... with some scratching along the side of car
Thanks Mebclever for placing the hide!

Geoboy was extremely keen to go caching, so geomum obliged with a quick drive out of the Mildura. Coords were hard to download in this area. Tftc
Suscoe was heading to Mildura this morning from Ouyen and we had a number of caches to visit as we travelled northwards.
It was a delightful day, blues skies, a breeze from time to time and a top temperature in the high 20's.
We enjoyed this section of caches hides and saw some interesting country as we headed along the highway and the byways.
Thanks to Mebclever for this hide, nice to be down by the river side.

Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find of a well hidden cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Mebclever for the cache.
Found. Lovely spot, easy find.
Signed book, didn't swap anything as we didn't have out little soldiers with us

On my weekend away to attend the 3 x 3 events across three states and I stopped to find a few more caches along the Calder as I went.
Well it’s the end of Boonoonar Rd for me and it was time to head back the way I came as I needed to get back to the Hwy.
I found a way in through the puddles and parked right near GZ and soon added my name to the log.
Thanks Mebclever TFTC.

Found the easy way back to the geomobile but we sure did the hard yards to find this well hidden cache but we did find it!! Thank you for this lovely series that we have enjoyed doing - it has been much appreciated.

Another neat riverside cache, which we were happy to add to our smiley collection, on a day with many DNF's (a number on caches by this CO!). We travelled some back roads, upstream from Mildura to Robinvale, then returning with the flow via the busy Sturt Highway.
Thanks Mebclever for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

We did our maintenance run today checking containers and log books. all good and ready to go.
We pulled in and parked near the pump shed and while l went one way to search my wife and kids took in some great views up the river. A couple of muggles were working in the shed so l managed to park the ute and camper to help block their view of me searching if they decided to see what we were doing, obviously their work was more interesting than a family looking around the area as they didn't emerge from their duties. Thanks Mebclever for the hide.
While travelling to Mildura for a friend's wedding, we wandered around the state looking at some interesting things, and caching. This was one we found. tftc.
Muggle partner and I were very generously given the opportunity to accompany Moneydork and Tounga to Mildura for the weekend, to attend 2 events
Saturday morning we left Berri and returned there Sunday night. Between that, I found 44 caches , attended the 2 events and had 6 DNFs
According to muggle partner, it was a great weekend I asked if he was now enjoying geocaching and he said 'no. The weekend was just good around the caching!'
Some awesome caches were found and some great people were hugged, met and spoken with
Wow! that is a mouthful of a name

Sorry for the slow log.
Thanks

Found this cache with Lord Rossatron last weekend on our way to Ouyen for our photo shoot. It was actually a nice little spot, we took some selfies together. And left a little TB there TFTC.
Got out of the car for this one and glanced at the gps, I worked out where I thought it was and approached , looked for a little while but didnt spot anything. another look at the gps, says i am still 20m away, walk the rest of the way and had the cache in hand fairly quick. Wasnt sure how many more caches I would get today so left a TB here.
We have returned from Canada to discover a few more Australian caches! What a great way to explore the Land Down Under" ...
Another great spot on the river - another cache!
Thanks Mebclever for a great location!

Heading up to Mildura for the Annual Port to Port Bicycle Ride Weekend and done some caching along the way. Had to take a detour off the main road to grab these few caches as we were heading into Mildura.
FUF009 got to this one first. Another good hide along the back track into Mildura. Took turtle - Left clip on koala and a yellow dinosaur.

Found with Tyred n Cranky
Once again out annual trip to Mildura so that Tyred n Cranky can enjoy their other hobby, bike riding, and in the annual event of the Port to Port.
As normal a rout was set out so that we could make some finds along the way up.
An interesting location, we parked on the road side and jumped the "W" rail to make it to GZ
