Enjoyed our group caching experience today. This was my first for the day. TFTF!

We decided to spend our 2 year anniversary caching and we also thought that this should be the first one we'd go for. First cache of the year for us and a great way to spend our day TFTC!

Oh yeah FTF with JIMP59, just 28 minutes after the New Year. I guess we have bragging rights / claim to finding the First Cache in 2013 in all of the United States. SL TNLN
***** HAPPY NEW YEAR ..... WOOOOOHOOO.....FTF *****
28 minutes into 2013 and we bagged this bad boy. Shared FTF with BugB. We were celebrating NewYears at our nephews home and as soon as the new year rolled in, this cache gets published. After all the hugs and kisses, mrs jimp59, BugB and I jump into my geoxterra and head for this cache. Arrived at ground zero and I'm searching one area with my iPhone, BugB is searching another area with his gps. Suddenly we here the infamous words "found it" by mrs jimp59. Go figure. The one without a GPS finds it. Have to congratulate you for putting out the very first geocache of 2013. We enjoyed the rush to get this cache. Thanks. JIMP59 (GUAM)

Happy New Year! The first cache published for the new year is also my first find for this year! I was still sleeping when this cache was published and didn't find it till later this morning. Even in the daylight, this one was a little difficult trying to figure out which driveway I should be in. Finally figured it out and started my search. It took a bit and I found it quite by accident as my GPS had me looking somewhere else. Saw another spot out of the corner of my eye and thought "I wonder???". Sure enough, made the find. TFTC-SL TNLN
Did the countdown, made our cheers, kissed the Mrs and then checked to see if a cache published! Sure enough there was! We continued to bring in the New Year instead of joining the race for the FTF! Woke up on the first day of the New Year, grabbed some grub and raced out to get the new caches! TFTC SL!
