Can't believe this one took me so long to find. Actually spotted some young catchers who found it then swooped in after they left while laughing to myself how much of an easy find it actually was ??
Sneaky little cache. Clue throws you off the scent! Thanks heaps for the tricky find.
Find number 6514. Decided to do a couple of days caching in the area. With an emphasis to try to clear the Dalmatians. After parking up in Riverhead and riding the bicycle from there. I only got a few done before the batteries on my GPS went flat and when I lost phone coverage I had to change plans. In the end I ended up with 29 caches today and spent the night at Murawai. A good day
This was part 2. Came to Helensville and caching back to find a camp for the night. Parked up next to GZ and then soon had the cache in hand. Thank you for the placement.

Out for a caching session while J Gadget attends a function. Lots of muggles around today. Tftc
Haha very clever cache. Took me a little while. The hint it’s misleading I think personally. Nice one!
Great hide and clue. His_old_lady found it first. Then when I got there, she made me find it for myself. Worth a favorite. Thanks for the fun.
The clue threw us off the scent a bit, but once we stopped and looked closely, something looked a bit out of place. Nice hide! Thanks!
The caches in Waimauku are proving to be very quick straightforward finds. This one was the trickiest, we got a bit distracted by other things in the area that we thought might match the hint but didn't take us long after michaelteacher noticed something out of place. Sneaky for a park and grab! Cache is in good condition. Tftc
Nice quick find using Geosense for a change...could not figure logic of hint....cheers V.
After little break for a coffee and legend carrot cake found this one. Did not get the hint but got the cache. TFTC
Vey cool. I was looking for all sorts relating to pine trees, then it just appeared.
TFTC!
TFTC!

First solo find as AceLeper logged this one last year, offering no spoilers thankfully. Enjoyed the hide and wooden‘t ask for any more of a hint.

I was here before, but missed the cache. I returned today and looked at one possibility before I spotted something that fit and there was the cache. TFTC.
Today in my spare time I headed north and west to find a few caches a bit from the hustle and bustle of the big city. That wasn't quite what I was expecting. Nice one! Took me a little while to work out what I was looking for and then I got my hands on the cache. TFTC, Biggles.
Number 2 of my home town. Caching eyes are a little rusty but finally found. Thanks kiwiz@GZ
All quiet here on Good Friday. Puzzled about the hint, but it made sense when the hide was spotted. TFTC.
Found back in Feb. Came back with own pen to sign all in good condition, TFTC
After a successful day caching with Keylev, we stopped in Waimauku on our way back to Auckland to tidy up the geomap in this area. This was our 3rd find in this little town.. I spotted the nicely camoed cache, hidden in plain sight! my favourite type of cunning hide! TFTC!
The clever camo on this cache did not fool us and the cache was soon in hand. Shame about all the rubbish in the area. We picked up some broken glass and wandered around the nearby shops to locate a rubbish bin, but there were none. In the end we asked one of the cafe owners to take the broken glass and dispose of it for us.
Mrs NZT and I set out north on a day trip to grab a few caches in peace. After a slightly delayed start due to a quick trip to the doctor after laval fell off a bouncy castle and hit his head very hard we were free to go and had a great day.
Ha ha the clever camo was no match for Mrs NZT's eagle eyes today...log soon in hand, signed and returned.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks for the cache.
Saw it not realising that was it then circled back to it after a good search around, very clever hide. New log but had no pen with me. TFTC!
Checked cache and put new waterproof log in. there has been a lot of trees cut down so a bit more stealth is required. Happy caching everyone
Nice hide! All the elements of a great cache, cunning design and hide, in a good place to allow a search without being compromised
All ok, well done.
Thanks!
All ok, well done.
Thanks!
Very clever hide, very cool. Nice and quiet here on sunday afternoon. Parked very close and spotted quickly, cheers
Stopped to find this on our way to night caching in Muriwai. Luckily there was a car between us and a group of muggles sitting in a carpark eating fish n' chips, so we could find the cache undisturbed.
#53 baffled by the hint, especially where I was looking! Of course it all made sense when I found it. Cool wee hide, quiet car park especially for such a busy stretch of road. TFTC
Left wife at the fabric shop while I went to grab this one. Took a while to find GZ with phone but soon spotted it. TFTC
A very nicely done cache container, and container. I this one on my way to the Taylors bush had to do it on my return trip as some mugles where hanging around, having there fish and chips. Log needs replacment it's full I had nothing suitable with me.Tftc
I was pining for a cache on the way out of Muriwai, so a quick detour was made, and a cache find acquired. Thanks for bringing us through this lovely little village, which we not have otherwise visited if not for the cache. TFTC!
After 15 seconds since arriving at gz decided to abandon the search. Too much rubbish. This isn't my idea of fun.
The cache was a good excuse to stop in Waimauku. Had a good coffee too. I liked the camo. Log full. Thanks.
Thank you for that cool geocache it was quite difficult but neatly discused. It was my first geocache that I found thanks
#10723. We stopped here so Troodles could get an ice cream. I headed straight to GZ, but had no luck finding the cache. Eventually Troodles (+ ice cream) appeared on the scene, and soon after I spotted the cache (having learnt from past logs that the clue was rather cryptic). TFTC.
One of the items on our must do list while in Auckland was a trip to Muraiwai as neither of us had been there before. Today the weather looked perfect for a drive out to the area.
We stopped here on the way back as I wanted an ice cream , so StreetWalker wandered over the road while I purchased my treat. I had expected the log book to be ready for signing by the time I joined him, but he was still searching. Glad I had an excuse not to (can't lick ice creams and search at the same time) as it was pretty grotty at GZ. Soon afterwards, he had spotted this nice wee hide. A wee bit more challenging than the 1 diff rating, especially given the rubbish in the area. TFTC.

A little while ago an idea was thrown about to head north for a final caching roadtrip for the year. So along with C&D a rough plan was formed with a certain few caches, a confluence point visit, an event to attend, and the rest of the plan was to be made up as we went along. A later start this morning, but we'd achieved most of what we had wanted to do yesterday so a nice crusiey day today. Heading home the along way via Helensville to grab a few more caches.
Took longer to get to the cache through all the speed bumps than to find the cache. Thanks for the placement.

In plain view. Signed the log then Mrs ToT headed to Matti B's for a bite. TFTC!!!
Initially we had a very puzzled look on our faces from the hint, but it didn't fool me for too long. TFTC
Nice hide! Log book was full, but i managed to scribble my name on it. Now on to muriwai...
We found it laying on the ground out in the open so not sure where it is supposed to be so put it back a little out of sight but still in plain sight. Then we had Fish and Chips from the shop around the corner. TFTC
Tftc. Quick find by Mr Witchegurl lol!
Almost got muggled by a couple of kids tho.

Out with the parents who wanted to look at patchwork and quilting shops! What better excuse to " excuse myself" and go cache hunting!
A quick find due to the hint and trusting my GPS!
