I joined a trip to Maitland with Aquilus1, dty73, Tankengine, Barb2e, Kitty Katch & Joolay. The weekends main game was to do the dogs head series, but along the way we did some old caches around Sydney and did as many Maitland caches as time allowed. The return journey was via some old caches and some challenges that may or may not be met one day.
Day 4 was the travel home day. We did start with Maitland caches and then head south to Sugarloaf mountain for some old and hard caches. Last on the list was another old Sydney cache.
Thanks.

Back in the area again this fine Sunday, to grab some i dnf'd last week and some more to clear them out. I think they are closed today due to Corona Virus, but I was here bout 7:30. Quick easy find as i read the hint last week. Bloke across the street looked intetested as i walked away. Tftc.
Tried this one today, but people were dining at the top of the stairs. Come back another time.
Great easy find. We took the little dinosaur and left a nice printed rock thank you for a great easy find with the kids
Found with @traceyb70. Harder find than expected especially with hungry muggles around!
Tftc, they have a full menu for dogs at the cafe, didn't order any food for the sausage. Just as well as the puppy chino was so big. No TB here anymore.
Perfect amount of difficulty, not in the leaves so that was great!! Awesome day too
Find No: 7950. Out for the day with shaneo58 and Yella Belly, thanks for the cache darth trader!!
Found it. Put the bike on the train to grab some caches up this way.A good spot for a rest i think. Stealth is required at certain times of the day.TFTC.
Took some dancing and distracting of the muggles eating on the verandah, whilst Minniek stealthy sat on the bottom step “taking photos” of the entertainment. Cache was soon in hand, signed and replaced, and the show thankfully over lol TFTC
The beautiful puppy geo art up Maitland way has been tempting me for months!, so when Joolay, Minniek, Fitzy_1965 and SpecimenX started to brew plans for a trip, I knew I was in. Making a whole long weekend of it, we’ve hunted down much needed counties on Friday, diverted to Jasmers, caught up with locals at events and picked up some extra cool little trails and night caches, all the while keeping our eye on the geo art prize So wonderful to have the chance to get away for some caching fun, and to catch up with some local cachers whilst we’re about. Thanks so much to everyone who has invested in these caches to make our wonderful weekend away a possibility. Thanks for the Cache.

19,138. Found as part of the Capital Crunchers Team (fitzy_1965, minniek, specimenX, nibletricecakes and Joolay) during the Canberra Invasion of Maitland region over the long weekend.
Day 4 of our invasion. Time to pack up camp, grab some breakfast, then try for as many local caches as we could get before heading off to brave the holiday traffic back towards Sydney/Goulburn. Next of the day. A nice quick find - plenty of parking on this holiday Monday morning.
Thanks darth trader !!

Headed to the Maitland area with fitzy_1965 & SpecimenX for an extra long weekend of caching.
Time to pack up and head home but not before picking up more of the local caches with nibletricecakes and Joolay. This one required nibletricecakes to act as distraction while I sat and gathered the cache, signed and returned....all with muggles sitting on the deck eating a late breakfast.....success!
All caches where found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned. Logs were either signed or stamped as Capital Crunchers or CC.

︎ 1 x swag Grabbed
︎ 1 x swag Dropped
No critters or hazards
Cache in good condition
Out caching Maitland and surrounds today with Lyn999 and Burgs00. Well, the location looked tricky until we read the hint. Not often a hint is this specific, but we'll take all the help we can get. SL TFTC darth trader

With a long weekend in Canberra, FurfacesLL #1 and myself decided it was time to get away and find a bit of warmth as the cold makes its way into Canberra. We decided to head up to Maitland as neither of us had been there before for Geocaching. After finishing the Dog Head Series yesterday and a few others, we decided on a quieter day today, so we made our way out to Frying Pan.
After finishing Frying Pan, we made our way back into Maitland for some lunch and then went off for some more caches. Another quick find here.
Thanks for the cache hides darth trader and thanks FFLL#1 for another trip out and about for some quantity AND quality caching

Back in Maitland after doing a coupe of trails, we thought we would look for others around the area. Quick find at this one and very quiet area at this time of night.
