I noticed that this cache has been in need of owner attention for a period of time well in excess of the period of "a few weeks" as contemplated by the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other caches from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the archive listing link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

Unfound for over a year, plenty of DNFs. As per TwoSharpe's note back in May, the CO may wish to check? This is nearly my closest unfound to home, so I would like to tick it off
Nah. Two years after trying for the first time, this one is still a DNF.
I WILL BE BACK
I WILL BE BACK
With nztikes and found plenty of places where it could have been. Many branches have been cut off...
Is this one still there? Am watching the growing roll of dnfs and note that tree pruning work was done last year. No finds since. CO may wish to check?
GPS all over the place so matched the green GZ on the map and guessed the tree. Got ninja all over that tree. But no joy. Next time!
We didn’t have high expectations (well in one sense we did), but had a look anyway. We weren’t sure exactly where the cache was, and suspect we lacked the agility to retrieve it anyway, although Mrs W.E.K.A. did climb a little, before deciding she wanted to live.
Hhmmm. Have an idea where it is but will come back another day when I am not wearing a skirt
This was my second time trying for this one. This time success with help. Thanks bugzptr for the physical bit!! Managed without any muggles in sight but then lots came past when we were standing by the bridge talking after the find.TFTC
After bugzptr dropped a few hints about this cache I sent him up after it. All I had to do was sign the log. A lovely park, and another one that I'd never visited before.
Oh well, I spent a while looking, but had absolutely no idea whereabouts to look, and I went off and cooled my feet in the paddling pool after a while. Thanks for bringing me to this park anyway.
Westland Anniversary on Monday meant a 3 day weekend to ChCh. We searched around for this one but it was SO HOT and after awhle we decided to move on to other caches. Thanks
Found with a little assistance from a previous finder. Pretty much a stab in the dark if you'll find it or not really. Thanks for the cache.
Visited today and can report that cache is still in place and waiting to be found.
Had a damn good climb around. Was 3m off the ground at 1 point on the relevant tree i think. Saw nothing. If its higher than 2m above ground then it aint happening
This is our 3rd attempt... Think we have the right location, just need to bring a couple of pieces of equipment and perhaps a little more bravery... next time
In the dark and the drizzle we made our way to a likely spot. Bugzptr started climbing. I got distracted from my torch holding duties as a monarch butterfly landed on my shoulder. I'm not sure what it was doing flying around at night. After having a few photos with the monarch I got back to shining my torch up the tree. Bugzptr hadn't had any luck and was climbing down slightly when he spotted the cache. He was very excited by his find, but realised his pen was in his jacket pocket, which was on the ground. He made his way down so that we could sign the log, then climbed back up to replace it. I think that we were very lucky that no-one sustained any injuries in this dark, damp mission.
Found on a night adventure with cfahey1 and the decoy-dog. I'm pretty sure I upped the T rating by attempting this in the dark. Easier to spot from above. TFTC.
Well finally, after I don't know how many times we have been here and some help from the CO. It was further than we had looked previously. Theroamingreliever had this one quickly in hand, think I may have been too short. Tftc glad to have this one off the list
Many visits and failures lead to Justanurse asking CO for some help. We also bumped into CO while out caching and asked for advise again. CO visited and said it was there. This time I had to go higher. Higher then I wanted too and higher then I had even looked at from the ground. Was a little uncomfortable up there worrying about foot placement and reaching for the cache once I had seen it but all worked out when going slow. Glad this is off the list. Think both difficulty and terrain should be higher.
No luck today - came here twice to look for it, but to no avail. Must say, this wee park is awesome - the monarch butterflies were out and fluttering around which made up for the lack of success with locating the cache. The wee Meijer Clan members were enthralled by the surroundings, especially the 18 month old, trying to get into the creek with the ducks whilst I was up a tree, i must be barking....
I will get you next time with some further perserverance.
Thanks anyhow - great spot.

Checked up on the cache- everything is ok. The cache itsself is in a slightly precarious position- branch can hold 65kg comfortably but any more than 95kg might be a stretch.
Been once before in the rain and so decided to come back. Came back in the dark. Was doing antics but will try again soon.

Been here a few times now and still no luck. Even climbed all the likely tree candidates
Nice park. No one was around. GPS indicated all over the place so was unable to locate the relevant tree..
Cache is back up and running but has moved about 2m. when replacing the cache please put gentle pressure to put it back into the hiding hole not a lot as that was what broke the last one.
Remember visiting on previous occasions to this lovely park. Mr LV espied the likely location but made a sad discovery - no cache as per hint, & didn't realise until read the logs that it was disabled. However we did help a lady round up her frisky wee dog that had made a quick escape from her car - doggie antics at Abberly! Looking forward to more antics before this cache gets a smilie!
Will disable this until i can find the time to check up on it and replace it if necessary.
It sounds like i need to devise a better way of holding it in.

Found this on the third attempt then forgot to log in amongst my Grandmother passing. Think the terrain rating on this might be a bit low or I'm a bit on the scared side. Thanks for the hide.
Found this with Poppa, Grandma and younger brother Zach. Looked far too dangerous for me! Poppa did the climbing after Grandma spotted the logsheet tangled way up the tree. Stella.
5023. On a picnic with grandchildren Stella (7) and Zach (4). GPS not much use as it turned out to be out by 20m! Used the hint and looked in the likely places within the area. Iris spotted something unusual and Rodney used our equipment to gain access, with Zach acting as safety officer. Turned out to be the log sheet tangled in the branches of a tree about 4m above ground. Signed the log sheet and put it in a plastic bag supplied by supply officer Stella. Placed the bag where it fitted the hint. Will contact the cache owner with more details. Rodney, Iris, Stella and Zach.
I don't think I was anywhere near it. Gps was all over the place. Very frustrating
My second attempt at this one, first was foiled by too many muggles. Pretty sure I had the right location just wondering about Z value? Climbed to where I thought it might be without success.
Like many before Gps had problems narrowing the search area. However I did have 2 on hand and they were both fairly consist in pointing to one location. Checking the attributes I realized that this one was going to be out of my reach today.
found it!!! Pirates went searching this morning but had a bit of trouble with the gps under the trees & the little pirates got bored. After re-reading the other entries and a bit of bird looking Daddy Pirate found it! It felt/smelt a bit damp but a clever hide.
After MacPacSon's 18th birthday dinner we went out just on dark to get this one. Knowing Chessmad we had an idea on what to expect. After initially getting placed on the other side of the creek by the GPS we got the right location and send the birthday boy to fetch! He was a bit more careful than usual as he didn't want to scuff the new shoes or dirty the new jeans! It was enough of a challenge to be a really successful find and left a better memory than where his TB was muggled from. TFTC
Ha ha, what a hoot. I arrived at GZ and to my surprise not too many about and it is 3.30. I spotted a likely spot but my GPSr was all over the place. I hadn't updated my GPS since last week so the new note on the cache being replaced didn't show up. I saw victoriousone's log and had a wee poke around and then decided on my initial gut feeling and came up trumps. Nobody walked passed me as I retrieved and signed the log. Thanks for the fun cache. Now better head off home. Maybe one or two more...

This one had me confused... I hunted around for ages trying to hide from the muggle who was walking his dogs in a continuous circuit around the park. I was about to give up when I looked down and saw a white lid.... hmmmm this looks like a pill container lid commonly used for caches.... looked a bit further and about 1/2 metre away was the rest of the container. I signed the log and put it all back together, however because I didn't find it in its original spot, I didn't really know where to put it back. So sorry if it's not quite in the right spot.

TFTC. I decided that a night retrieval may be necessary for this cache. I went armed with suitable assistance and followed the TG guidelines. Had great fun accessing the cache. Thanks for the entertainment chessmad.

Off to a meeting nearby, so chose this cache for today's find. Antics indeed. It didn't take long to find the cache (thanks to TG's adjusted co-ords), but I dropped my pen while I was up ... I enjoyed finding this cache. TFTC.

Mrs TM spotted this one earlier this morning & suggested we check it out.
Terrain rating told us all we needed to know & so made sure we took Junior TM with the pre-requisite skill sets to retrieve this cache.
Easy find in the end.

After ftf, went to this 'secret' beautiful garden sanctuary to see what I could see, but only fell out of the wrong one. Now that the arm is better, and Team_Gaters good find helpful, SUCCESS! Wind made for double antics, but now a little more secure... Great Hide
Love this park. Saw the string of DNFs and thought 'what the hay'. A perfect late afternoon for an adventure. Rain squalling in - no one else around. Circled around with the GPS...GZ for me wasn't near anything useful. Widened search and found a possibility - didn't fully commit so DNF. Circled around some more but eventually came back to the DNF spot. Spotted where I needed to be. Fully committed this time & signed the log. Nice one. Co-ords a bit out for me (12m)....more 820/781....but tree coverage & the weather may have had an effect?! Cheers ears. What fun. Pleased that I had the place to myself. Surely this cache won't get muggled
Spent sometime on 3 occasions without any success. Will keep trying as the mood takes us. M & P
Wandered about aimlessly under the trees. Didn't want to go into the garden, but GPS kept putting us there. Found a likely spot, which was not in the garden area, but it was 15m from GZ and no cache.

Yus!!! Found it!! FTF!!!!! (And I counted... FTF #21... )
I had just been out, biking around the area, getting to know it, and I had actually biked the next street over from GZ!! The notification came through just as I turned down my street. Heard the phone, and was like hmm... that may be an important email! So I stopped on the side of the road and checked the phone... Geocache!! And the closest one published out of all the others that had been since I moved here!!
So I raced home on the bike as FAST as I possibly could!! Stuck the bike on the rack, and jumped in my car... I didn't even go inside, as I already had the GPS and a pen on me, and no use wasting time!
Drove to the GZ, and jumped out the car. And just as I was doing this got a call from an unknown number! Grr! So hands full, car keys, GPS, Phone, door to lock, trying to pick up the phone, told the person to ring back in 10 mins when they asked if this was a good time... as I thought this would be a quick easy park cache that shouldn't take longer than that.
Arrived at GZ to see me by myself. And so the search begun... not long after, spankymoore came, and continued searching... I thought I got the hint, and searched every one, but no luck.
Then I got the call back, and sorted that out while still searching the area.
As soon as the call was over, took another look at the cache page. I had already looked at the description, hint and everything, but then took another look at one thing on the cache page that would give me an idea on how much effort was required for this cache - perhaps explaining why we hadn't found it yet... well, that was it! That had to be it!! It made so much sense!
So I picked a spot, and went for it. But well... cache was not there, and I was a bit stuck... so needed a bit of help! Lol...
Then I picked another spot. This one looked much better, and looked pretty doable too. So went there, and what do you know! Either someone dropped something here, or it was the cache! And the first option seemed unlikely.
We were very relieved when we were greeted with a blank logsheet, and so I signed it for us! But it was really a joint FTF! As even though I was the one who spotted it and retrieved, if spankymoore hadn't had been there, I would probably still be stuck in the other spot I had looked in! Haha. And we were both looking for it.
Nice wee hide here! But may need a bit of attaching somehow later on, as it may not withstand hurricane level winds/rains... though I guess those don't come along that often anyways!

Got the message in my inbox and thought I take a dash for this one as it was close by. When I arrived Sonia was already at work. We both scrambled around without much success until she decided to look in higher places, and success. She rightfully gets the FTF, with myself mercifully getting a 2TF on her coattails. Nice to meet another cacher at work. Here's hoping this one stays hidden longer than the previous one I hid here.
