Definately not there. Checked under lip of lid right around transformer with nothing to be found.
Coulnt find it. Looks like there has been some sort of oil or small fire. Not sure. Try again sometime.
In the area with Merlot58 and as she had previously found this one, she was able to park very close to GZ. Thanks to the hint the cache was quickly found.
Mrs NZT and I set out north on a day trip to grab a few caches in peace. After a slightly delayed start due to a quick trip to the doctor after laval fell off a bouncy castle and hit his head very hard we were free to go and had a great day.
Stopped on the opposite side of the road so I safely made it across and thanks to a very specific hint made a quick find. Now to negotiate my way back...little tougher but made it in the end.
Thanks for the cache.

Nice quick fine on this showery morning. Pleased to have the hide spelt out as this is now such a busy road. TFTC
Henderson - Mangawhai
Visiting family north of Auckland.
We stopped to find caches along the road, pulling up where we considered it safe.
Had to make a stop on the way to have a NZ famous Hokey Pokey ice cream.
Thanks for placing this cache wasa & chec

Very funny, and nice hide here. Felt quickly with my fingers, yup its the cache, TFTC
Quick stop with CC2XL on our way out to camp. Thought we'd better pick up this one before JK moves out for good. TFTC
On our way for a few days at Shelley Beach stopping to do some caching on the way. Quick find. Thank you.
#49 nice easy park and grab on my way to another cache. Conviniently the previous person had placed it in the exact spot the hint led me too. Log taking a bit of a beating although still in good enough condition. Felt like I was being watched the whole time... TFTC!
Quick easy find, was placed on the wrong side though so put it back on the right side of transformer, tftc
Nice park and grab, luckily I was on the right side of the road! Took a bit to locate the cache as it wasn't quite where the hint said, but still found anyway.
On our way to visit a park up north and popped in to grab this one on the way past. Nice quick grab here. Thanks for placing this cache.

I had decided to gift myself with an FTF by mid-night as its my birth day tomorrow. This was found on the way. Parked the car close-by and quickly grabbed it. tftc.

Parked on the wrong side of the road and it was busy so didn't want the kids to have to dash out in traffic so sent Mr M out for the grab. Didn't seem to be in the place indicated by hint, but found in due course. TFTC
I needed a cache to keep my daily streak going so I picked this one before the Super Bowl this arvo.
On pulling up I thought that this is probably not the best place to park, do something dodgy and then leave after recent events but I thought I'd grab it anyway.
It wasn't exactly where I expected but I had it in hand pretty quickly anyway.

Found while there was a bit of a meeting going on inside. Luckily I found it nice and quick without being noticed.
Thanks for the cache

Looks like we found the remains of what once was the cache - ripped up log but nothing else
Was out for a night time drive with speedhog62. Thought we would place a few caches and stop and find some... this was the only one we ended up stopping to find! Cheers and thanks for the cache
You take your life in your own hands trying to cross this road as everyone heads home from a long weekend. tftc
Heading home after visiting Kerr-Taylor reserve so we were on the wrong side of the road for this. It sure is a busy road especially with traffic coming home after the long weekend so it was a bit of a wait to get back to the car after signing the log
Yaaaaay!!! Quick find and what a buassssy area!! Woah! Thanks for a great hide
On our way past here today and decided to stop to nab this one. Didn't take long. SL. TFTC.
Found by my granddaughter.. We left a travel bug.

What do you call a group of cachers looking for a cache?? I don't know but they looked quite conspicuous and just a little cra cra!!
Selfies were had with John and we were off to Murawai for some more craziness. TFTC

Out with a large group of caching buddies today. The mission: find a few caches around Muriwai, including a night cache or two. We were going right past this one on the way to our rendezvous point, so of course we had to stop for it! A very quick find here by Mr NZTravellers.... luckily, because we just possibly may have looked ever-so-slightly suspicious to the passing traffic!
Log signed, a quick photo of Mr NZTravellers and a familiar face, and we were on our way!

One for the kids! Fantastic. No opening or crazy places to get to. Just use your eyes. Loved it. Thank you.
Joined a party of intrepid Hamilton cachers on a pre-arranged mission to explore the wild west. All in all, a fantastic day out on the west coast dashing up & down the dunes, before heading home. This was 'just one more' as we headed away, TFTC
Heading home from Muriwai Beach and not meant to be stopping for any caches.... but who can resist a quickie!
HKCB made the find on this one and we were off again... NO MORE STOPPING... YEAH RIGHT!

Decided to grab a few more on the way home from a trip down Muriwai beach. Quick stop and find here, I thought it was going to be John Kirwin and the Blues from the cache name, but no it was to do with some bloke I don't really pay much attention too! Must be because to the two Super Rugby semi-finals tonight that made me think that way.
Thanks for the hide.
Thanks for the hide.
Tftc. Done signed and placed back. Eating some lunch in car and remembered block head we got from last cache but a muggle has started to mow the next verge so didn't want to compromise.
Over this way for tonights Auckland event so thought I'd grab a few caches en route, would be rude not to really. Had boxing circuits and P T training this afternoon so arms and legs are sore which prevents any plans for long walks or strenuous activity, Park and grab only it is then!
After the event now and a visit to my aunt in Kumeu so decided to grab this little blighter on the way past.
Using the car as a shield a Q E F ensued

Out this way for work...so a bit of caching was needed
Good to see where the Boss lives! Unless he gets kicked out for pulling any more ponytails!

Always wondered how JK got into power, now I know. Tricky getting the log out of the cache as its well wedged in. Used a small screw driver in the end. TFTC
A belated log from last weekend's trip up from New Plymouth. We were on our way to the Doctor Who Symphonic Spectacular and came up a day early to do some caching and so my wife could visit her sister.
After a meal at The Fireplace, during which we explained to her sister and sister's husband about geocaching, we demonstrated by looking for some nearby caches.
This was our second for the evening, but eight and last for the day. Not high numbers, I know, but we go for quality not quantity. A fairly quick find as we had found a similar one earlier in the day. although that was a lot smaller. The log book was wedged inside so I had to use a tool to extract it, and the only thing I had on had was, amusingly I thought, a key.
Signed the log, and I think I left one of our signature trading tokens but it was a week ago and my memory is fading.
Thanks for the placement.
