Sadly not ours to find today, looked in all the obvious spots with rebel98, and could not find the little beastie
Started out looking in the wrong place but found it once I trusted the GPSr and moved to the right spot. Had a bit of trouble getting the log out, but a TOTT did the job and I was able to sign the log. The cars sure do get some speed through here, so pays to make sure you're well parked out of the way. Thanks for placing the cache.
We are cruising to Auckland looking for a laundromat along the way and saw this geocache... Parked in the wrong way before we knew we couldn't. Found the little bugger eventually!

Mr Patoto had a reunion in Makarau so made a 3 day weekend of it. I had planned to find 19 geocaches. Some on the way up and and rest on way back. #2 on list. Difficult parking a motorhome on side of road. Took a wee while to find. GPS packed a tanty. Wasn't where I thought it was going to be but did find in the end. SL. Took ages for me to roll the log up. Got there in the end.
Had us looking about for a while, and keeping an eye on the traffic which seemed to come from everywhere. TFTC
Quick find in the rain. Hoping to grabs few on our way to Whangarei. First for 2016. Tftc
For a caching weekend away with the HKCB this was a late but welcome start in this great piece of countryside that I had never visited before.
So after having spent a caching trip where I slept in a bed rather than a car, and having had a shower (so this must be how normal cachers start their day when caching) while getting a tour of the Albertlanders History before heading south.
We collected this one following on from cretti's series of puzzle caches and heading south once again
Great spot for the cache and we were happy to have the place to ourselves.
thanks for brining me to this spot to enjoy the surrounds.

A little while ago an idea was thrown about to head north for a final caching roadtrip for the year. So along with C&D a rough plan was formed with a certain few caches, a confluence point visit, an event to attend, and the rest of the plan was to be made up as we went along. A later start this morning, but we'd achieved most of what we had wanted to do yesterday so a nice crusiey day today. Heading home the along way via Helensville to grab a few more caches.
Took a moment or two to locate, but got there with a methodical search. Thanks for the hide.

Found on way north for a nice big day of caching here and there! Thanks for that.
(1518) Had time to target some road side caches on my way home from the mountain bike park. TFTC
Found the nano quickly where you would expect to find it but as per the previous log, the lid is jammed so I could not open it to sign the log.
On a family holiday in the area visiting family. This trip is a holiday with caches, not a caching holiday.
We had plans for a family trip out to the Parakai Springs todsy but on of the family was out due to a fever. We decided to still go but with a diminished team. After a lovely swim we headed back to Auckland and stopped by and grabbed a few caches. GPSr was bouncing me all over the place. Went back to the first place I looked and found it. I couldn't open the nano the lid was jammed.
Thanks for the cache.

Located after a minute or so, took more time to get the log and back in again! TFTC
Found after a little searching on the way home from a days caching. Not the size I've normally found at one of these locations so it took a little longer than usual. Thanks!
The log was full and I had a replacement log on hand so I've performed maintenance and replaced it. Message me if you want the original log. Cheers.
Decided do take my new tyres out for a spin during the late afternoon. It wouldn’t be a good trip without collecting some geocaches on the way. Quick find. Found also a little gab to sign with A80. TFTC
We guessed correctly where this would be ... Tiny alright ! The tiny log is really
full so had to sign in someone else's square ...

Fortunately the road was nice and quiet this morning so I was able to back in off the road. Quick find on a lovely sunny morning. Tftc! LOG IS NOW FULL
Another quick find for the Boss! Wasn't too sure about where we had parked but we were not there long enough to worry. TFTC!
thought we may have lost the nano touch after swearing at a few others recently.. even if we refuse to use any our selves.. but this one was quickly in hand with out setting foot on bill goat gruffs bridge or getting snailed on the road.. sorry i mean race track! my god people seem to be in a hurry to get to helensville - what are we missing?
Spending a weekend in Whangarei. What to do with spare time? Caching!
Mrs S did not like the spiders, but Mr S was brave and grabbed the cache./
Thanks cs1111.

Found during the Geo North Tour led by PageNZ. Five of us poking around intensely at GZ while a workman was right there. We explained what we were doing, but he wasn't really interested. TFTC.
[green] Out on the 3 day GeoTour North with ToursDirect, the prelude to the MEGA in Auckland. Fantastic tour, recommend it to anyone (too late!). I surprised only 4 people chose to come along. Today is Day 1.
Fast easy find while heading out of Auckland.

Cache #3 on the Geo Tour North. Sorry for lack of detail in logs - I am still in shock at the number of caches we picked up. Thanks for your caches.
A man was cleaning (?) the structure but seemed quite uninterested in what we were doing...that's muggles for you.
Found with renelm and Difool, logged as RAD to save log space, time and trees.
I am not much of a logwriter, so see renelms, and possibly Difools, log for details.

We headed North for the weekend and decided to take our time and tour some of the back roads on our way up. Parked right beside GZ and quickly found the little nano, TFTC!

Not too much traffic on a Sunday morning so we could get into the recommended parking quite easily. No problems making the find. TFTC.
This cache showed as unfound by us and when we pulled up the area seemed very familiar. Sure enough we had already signed the log book but forgotten to log it. No worries with finding it either time. TFTC
Very tricky spot to park, just managed to squeeze car immediately behind gz. Sqatted down so the traffic speeding past didnt notice me. Loved the hide , many thanks for the cache and clue. Have re-hidden the cache so its now reached without tool.
Parked further up the road and walked vack. Sneaky hide but had the TOTT to extract TFTC.
Risked a stop for a quick look despite the traffic thundering past, didn't seem to bother the tiny lizards chasing ants. SL dipped trackable replaced where found T4TC
Reversing into the parking option wasn't safe, so parked across the road and to the south. GPS seemed strangely reluctant to stabilize here, so thanks for the hint. I'm surprised that Helensville doesn't have a closer water source.
Easy find on my way to Helensville.
Quickly located but it ficked to the back when trying to retrive it.
Needed a tool to get it out of it's hiding hole.

Visited this cache on our way back from visiting a sick friend in Helensville. Searched and searched but had to eventually admit defeat
10 minutes of head scratching, chin stroking and we found it. It was the only one of the Road To Home (or, for us Woodhill folk, the Road *from* Home) series and Dead Centre of the Ville we found on this scorching hot day. We'd left our GC rucsac at home and were not really set up for a hot afternoon's caching so we'll be back to try again soon.
Took a wee search to find this one. What a busy road this is. I noticed the sign saying not to back out onto SH16. Geez...you take your life in your hands just driving out forwards. TFTC.
A quick park and cache on my way to visit WelshGirl77 and MischiefD in Helensville. TFTC
Lovely country and views in this part of the country. Only my second time along this route, with quite a few more caches to find than on my previous visit An enjoyable, and fun trip finding as many as I could.
Many thanks for the hide.
Many thanks for the hide.
Continuing on our way to Parakai Hot Pools. This took us the longest to find out of this series. One of the sneaky kids found it and tried tricking me by putting in a really obvious spot. Anyway signed log and put back where it was found. TFTC
Wasn't long before Krackup pounced on this one. Did well to have found it given its size.
Thought it was likely to be a bit bigger so was looking in all the wrong places initially.

Was on the way to visit the family when we just had to get this cache... plus others from this cacher....
I hear there has been some tricky hides from this cacher... On to the next...
This is a busy area for traffic, about time you travel south to find the Kiwifamily cachers....
Maybe a BBQ at the same time

Out this way with evilno9 tidying up all the new hides out this way, and this was next on the list. Very little traffic around, so no problem having a look around. Managed to lay our hands on it pretty quickly. TFTC

A nice quick find, just had to dodge the muggles driving horse trucks travelling to the nearby event. TFTC

Nice quick find on our way up to Helensville, got lucky with the first place we looked but we'll take it TFTC
I had to turn around and head north again so that I could park close to the GZ.
Cheers for the cache.
10205… There sure is lots of fast traffic on this road… even got a friendly toot from a passing cacher or was it a muggle??? TFTC.
Headed on up the road from finding the new cache in Huapai for a nice quick find here, and another blank logsheet - FTF #1309 TFTC!!!
