I'm heading home from Coen. I've been to this petrol station a few times before, just never went looking for this cache, so today it got a All nice and dry Tftc
I had a day free as the job up the road couldnt go into site until tomorrow. So I popped in here for this geo. Thanks for giving me something to do today and another lga in QLD. TFTC
This is about halfway and a good stopping point between Charters Towers and Emerald - good way to stretch the legs and get ready for Part 2 of the drive. Strong internet reception meant we had this one very quickly - the clue was good and the location far enough away from muggles to not attract attention. Left a lucky Chinese Feng Shui coin. We had a pencil so signed the log - the pen had dried up so bring a pen with you when you go for the walk. TFTC - a nice big size and not the dreaded mint tin.
Tftc, we spotted this one very easily from the roadside. We were unable to sign the log book as we didn't have a pen with us
It certainly is! On our way from Emerald to Charters Towers. Not much in between so nice to stop and find a cache or two. Picked up a travel bug- will log once in reception area. *The generic bit for this trip*We are on our way north for warmer weather. From Victoria to Cooktown, weaving inland and to the coast, caching as we go. No real plans, just taking each day as it comes and enjoying the adventure in our converted ambulance. Thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining caches for our enjoyment.
Nice find one of the better geocaches I have found TFTC but sorry my pen ink died I have to photo log this one
On the trip to Townsville from Emerald, we stopped in some towns along the way. Here's one to find today.Thank you for placing the cache Cachedin NQ.
Quick park and grab extended by some CITO. Disgusting how people just throw their rubbish out.
On my roundtrip along Australia with Oopie we are douing always some caches. All COs thanks for bringing us on this nice places and making this caches.
Together with TravelSer Im Down Under. By motorhome we are travelling through the East, South and the middle of Australia.During our trip we visited several caches. Most of them, like these one, brought us to very Nice spots and helped us discovering the area. Thanks a lot for bringing us here. GreetsHans aka 00pieTb drop
Together with Travelser I'm going Down Under. We are driving around with a motorhome. Started on the 17th September in Cairns. Our plan is driving.along the eastcoast down. Then in the south on to Adelaide and from there ending the 31th October in Alice Springs.During our trip we of course search for several caches. Most of them brought us to very nice spots, like this one.All the CO's, and in this case Cachedin NQ, thanks for bringing us here and give our trip a special accent.
It was time for another break and this cache was all the incentive I needed. Once at GZ, the geo-recognisable camo soon had me signing the log at 14:00 and it was back to the road.
TNLNSL. Thanks Cachedin NQ.

A good easy cache and great for a break and a walk for the dog since 1st stop since Capella. A favourite
We are on our way from Clermont to Charters Towers. Stopped nearby for a ️ .. Then, we headed off to get this smile. All good here cache is in good condition. Tftc
Found on our road trip from Carnarvon Gorge to Townsville. Thanks for hiding this cache and as always TFTC, MumDad2000
Found it fairly quickly. Wouldn't necessarily classify the cache as "small", but it was hidden well enough.
A few random objects in there that I guess can be swapped. Cool to see one out that far. TFTC

A trip to Perth checking out some of the awesome places along the way in ACT, NSW, Qld and NT. Grabbing some old caches and missing LGAs. TFTC.

Our last stop on the way into Clermont with Crustyvarmint, the mozzies were ferocious there this evening. Log signed very quickly then back into the vehicle.
Cache in good condition. Coords a bit out. Hint certainly helped.

On our way home after a 2 week round trip to Mt Garnet for their big May Day weekend races & rodeo (and a family gathering amongst it). Second last day of our holiday, sadly!
We pulled up at the Roadhouse for a comfort stop and a drink and wondered what the odds were that there'd be a cache there since phone reception wasn't real crash hot (and we figured it would be too far away for anyone to maintain). Sure enough, there it was!
Followed the coordinates and then the hint and had it in no time! Left a starfish

Looking back over our trip from WA to the CacheQld Mega, Townsville, we have a few spare moments to put a smiley on some more of the caches we have signed along our journey.
It’s amazing to see the country through the eyes of a geocacher
Especially seeing the beaut local spots
Thanks to all the COs for sharing these great stops along the way, making our joy all the more interesting.

Heading south to Clermont today after a few days in Charters Towers. Collecting a few caches along the way to break up the trip. Thanks to the CO's for placing them or us to find.

TFTC. It certainly is a long way to this cache. We left Charters Towers this morning heading home to Maryborough. We wanted to visit Emerald and a few places between there and Rockhampton first. This was our first stop, before our overnight in Clermont. A quick easy find even though the co-rods are out by some 15 metres . Clue is good.
A quick stop by here on a geo road trip with sweraah and stephyy. Tftc Cachedin NQ️
On our way to Rubyvale after the Townsville mega, making a stop in here on the way.
A quick find thanks to the hint.

Along with the Trudge2TVL mob (Fangsoki, 1MinnieMoo, Captain Terror, Crew 153 and myself) we have been buzzing around the general broader Townsville district all week having a blast .. and today we are heading south towards Brisbane (having left the Captain up there). Via Charters Towers first and then down to Claremont overnight. This one broke the drive - it served it's purpose well.
Thanks Cachedin NQ for entertaining me at this location.

Trudge to Townsville Day 8: the start of the group’s homebound journey. We were on our way to Clermont, tonight’s destination, and were more than happy to stop in this spot to break up our drive a little. Cache was found quickly, as we all piled out for a quick stretch of the legs.
Thanks for the cache Cachedin NQ.

1MinnieMoo, Crew 153, Pprime, and I were heading south toward Clermont. We decided to drop in and get this one.
We pulled up and thankfully we found the prize nice and easy. It's always good to see a decent size container. A great excuse for a stop. TFTC Cachedin NQ

Day 6 of our trek to the Townsville Mega and back with fitzy_1965 and two of my geo-kids Death_killer & my_name_jeff_1.
Today we headed from Emerald to Charters Towers. This is our last stop before arriving in Townsville tomorrow. An easy day of driving to collect some counties and a handful of caches along the way. Managed to find another cabin for some air conditioned comfort (our car air con is broken!) then decided to do the Tower Hill caches before retiring for the night.
All caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.

27,529. Found with minniek during our Grand Townsville Trek up to CacheQLD's Townsville Mega Event over Easter.
Day 6 of our Townsville Trek, and we headed north from Emerald up to Charters Towers for our final night on the road before reaching Townsville. A fairly easy drive up with a few interesting caches found before reaching Charters Towers and Towers Hills caches. It was fun to see quite a few familiar names in the Tower Hill logs from over the last few days including today ! This cache - a very appropriate name. 160km of boring road and no rest areas. Thank goodness for the roadhouse for a lunch stop, and this cache. Quick find. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then continued along to the next cache on our list.
Thanks Cachedin NQ !!

It sure is a long way to this cache, the nearby roadhouse offered a chance to stretch the legs before heading onwards to CT.
Coongoola and geodog Buddy are making our way towards Townsville where the Mega is being held.
Found while refuelling.

Located 17m from gz, thanks for cache which have me a reason to break up my drive to Tsv.
My caching buddy of the last few days is heading south and I am heading north. After a long drive from Clermont, I stopped by this cache. A quick find was made and the log signed. TFTC
This place hasn't changed much in the years we have travelled this road. Always a good excuse to stop for a stretch and now a cache. Left a couple of TBs. TFTC
While I walked around in circles aimlessly following the GPSr that wouldn’t settle, Mrs SKI had read the cache notes and walked up straight to where it was and found it.
A quick stop for the cache and to change drivers.
Took 2 travel bugs.
Another day heading south as we begin to work our way home, this one a reasonably long one as we head from Charters Towers to beyond Emerald. We’ve seen large birds we guess might be brolgas, quite a number and a kangaroo or two. Had to pull off the road to let two low loaders carrying dismantled Tonka mining trucks go through. They were 8 metres wide! Not much traffic and a number of rain showers but a good day.
Oh, and we collected a few caches a,one the way!
Thanks to the local COs for developing and maintaining the caches that have broken up our journey.

On a road trip from Brissy to Townsville and back via some out of the way places. Not quite a geocaching trip because I have a client with me. But we needed a rest so bought coffee and muffins at the roadhouse then a quick easy find before hitting the highway.
Dropped 2 TBs that have been stuck in SE Qld for a while. Hoping they get to explore other parts of Qld.

Cache was replaced today with new coordinates. A new container, an unactivated trackable and the older log sheets removed.
Could have used a log near the road but not sure how permanent it was, it is a 400km round trip to maintain this cache.

Due to recent works and a temp container, we are planning on moving this one 7/7 in the morning, should be back in the afternoon.
Day 6 of 8 (Prairie - Emerald) of a Queenslander road trip with Kestal, clocking just over 4000km, to tick off boxes for different challenges. GZ didn’t look promising but a quick read of previous logs suggested there was a container in place and there was. TFTC Cachedin NQ
Day 6 of looping around Queensland. So far we have headed a long west, a long way north and a long way east. Today will see us head a long way south with today’s final destination being Emerald.

# 2358 - Travelling from Brissie to probably Cooktown and back we try to pick up a few caches.
It sure is a long way to the cache if you have to make a round trip of 400km for maintenance!
We were lucky that we were heading this way anyway....
Found it before it was relocated. Lucky for me, because I had saved the cache and would not have had the updated details. Something I will have to keep in mind if ever I can't find a cache.
Anyway, found it and signed the log. Onwards to the next one.

On my way to Charters Towers, I stopped at Belyando River for fuel and to get the cache.
It was found with the help of the hint.
It was found with the help of the hint.
Please note the GZ has been altered and the hint changed. Thanks to genono for finding the log and placing a container. It will be a couple of weeks before we can get down there and find a new spot.
So we drive hundreds of kilometres for a cache to find GZ has recently been levelled by an excavator. [xx(] New challenge! Poked around and found an almost buried and squashed container with a smashed lid.... contents and logbook fine, container not fine, PT now mine (thanks gerrynewgirl). Replaced the container with a black nutella jar at the co-ordinates and hidden as in the first part of the hint... the second part of the hint is non-existent now. TFTC Cachedin NQ.
Found easily on the way north, signed a new log book before I checked whether there was room in the old one. Left a pathtag for a fellow cacher. TFTC.
