Trying too get twenty today there where four left this seemed easy but no I made it extra hard for myself, fist went up the bank and searched for GZ not easy with GPS bounce then went down another bank to GZ then searched way too long in the wrong spot which fitted the hint as well, eventually got it though, nice little cache container unfortunately cache log was too wet too even get out and it was crumpled so I took a pic which I can send CO if required. TFTC
We'd parked at the previous cache 'Another small beach' and walked here. A nice walk and a cool little cache, thanks
Got time off work and sick at the same time decided to go do a few caches to help pass it. Quick find, tftc
Found this one after a bit of looking - another not so obvious one. Log a little wet - was able to complete log thou.
Staying at Blue Heron this past week.
What a terrific spot! Enjoying the kingfishers; from perches to shoreline.
Even was invited to go out fishing myself one morning!
Thanx for placing a cache on this walkway. Recent rain made this tricky, but came down the easier way. The little hinge is broken but the integrity of the cache is ok, dry.

Carried on from the little beach and up along this path, somewhere I had never been before. You certainly need to watch your head on this big Pohutukawa overhanging the track.
The bank was quite slippery to climb, but there are some good looping roots to hold. Was initially looking under the wrong upright, but once I widened my focus, I soon spotted the muscly cache.

423 Nice day out with a friend geo-caching. Doing the Waimahunga track first then the Blue Heron Camping Ground area
After spending some time looking for Another Small Beach(Whangarei) we gave up and decided to head up and grab this one. A nice easy find on a bright sunny day. Thanks again for another cache Riser.
Nice slippery scramble and a good cache nose to sniff this baby out..might take all day if they are all like the first two tftc riser
You need keen eyes for this one. Hidden in a nice little spot. Interesting cache.
I'm up in my home town of Whangarei for the holiday period and headed out this morning to the Parua Bay area, and found a few caches while there. Went for a short walk to the Blue Heron, and back, and soon found this neat little guy along the way. Would have liked to have gone further, but the tide was in! TFTC!

Wandering around picking up a few caches inn the area...a delightful spot. TFTC
Beautiful spot on a surprisingly calm and clear morning. Clambered up the bank and the cache was soon in hand. Lots of birds out this morning. A nice and relaxing start to the morning
She's a tricky little one! Looked in many of the more obvious spots - were just about to give up and my hand closed in on it!
On our way back from Pataua we stopped to find a few caches along the way. We parked at the beach and took the path to the Blue Heron. GZ was obvious from the cache description, and we were pleased to find the cache after only a short search. Thanks.
This one was close to home so Liz and I thought it was time to take a little walk to the beach then along the bush track to GZ.
It took a bit of searching to finally locate the cache hidden in his little hole; luckily there were no muggles out walking today probably due to the overcast sky and windy weather. TFTC

Finally! This little monster had beaten us twice before and today we returned to knock it off! Had looked within centimetres all around it the last 2 times so can't believe it had eluded us previously.
#350 I was getting worried that my streak would end today having DNF'd two nearby caches as well as 3 unsuccessful visits to previous DNFs. I walked along the beach and scrambled up the slope to find the cache by the small upright. TFTC(that helped keep the streak alive).
Grrrrrr! After the extreme excitement of finally finding Another Small Beach nearby we ended up feeling frustrated that we couldn't find this one that most say is an easy find. Will put a watch on this and try again another day.
Realised when we were driving to the destination that we had visited this cache but forgot to log it the first time. Pretty walk so no real hardship.
Heading for the Mega this weekend. Out early before the rain arrives. Easy find. TFTC.
10.35am. Walked along from the camp ground. This one took a while to find as the hint is misleading and had me searching in the wrong place. All good in the end.
Thank you. David.
Thank you. David.
Always wondered where that track lead to, found cache easily but looks like that hinge is broken, we replaced it as best as possible to seal the lid.TFTC.
Finding caches near to our campsite. Nice walk TFTC

After finding a few of the OC puzzles we headed out to Tamaterau for a late picnic lunch and a couple of caches - one I'd found with Butchie Bum a few months ago - but not sure how much 'help' I was for tikitour as all 'bridges' looked possibilities...
Anyway - then we headed up the track to this one - the terrain rating is as indicated - especially for us - did wish we had the grandies with us - would have been a piece of cake for them to scramble around!!
Was pleased to lso find a cache we could leave some TBs in - hope they get moved on before too long...
Thanks Nick

After finding some puzzles and the cache close by this was a quick walk along the path.....not so quick when we got there...where was mr tikitour when I needed him to climb the bank. Oh well we were here so it had to be done !!! with careful feet placement we manged to get to the cache and sign the log. Dropped off a TB that has been traveling with me for awhile and have finally found a good sized cache for it to stay and enjoy the view of the rocky shore and sea. TFTC
Had arranged to meet Butchie Bum to pick up a few caches in the area, after checking out the tides we knew we had to wait a while to collect some but this one was doable. Lovely walk along to GZ and after following the instructions on the cache page the cache was soon in hand. Nice blank log book for a joint FTF. Thanks for taking us to a place we had not visited before.
Lovely day out with Team welsh caching. Tide high but decided to have a go while in the area. Lovely spot with one muggle enjoying a swim. Nice walk to gz and cache soon in hand. Combined FTF with Team welsh .
