Unable to get down to this cache to renew it. The fence post we had the cache in was shifted and a new fence put up.

Coords had me no where near a fence. It looks like some recent works have been done, so not sure if the 'fence' is gone?
I’m off on my annual 6 week adventure and it is back to Outback Queensland to finish off what I started last time but got interrupted along the way.
It is nice and quiet on the roads this morning and I’m now in NSW and the weather can only get better to what Melbourne is at the moment.
It was time to leave Surat and head to my next destination which is the Muckadilla Bup (if you ever go there you will realise my spelling).
The last rest stop along the Carnarvon Hwy before Roma for a cache.
I think that I have rested enough on the way up this way.
At least they have been provided to give everyone a break if needed.
Thanks jpgordo TFTFC

Up from TASSIE on a ten week tour. Still Roamin' 'Round Roma today, so a bit of shopping, cheap diesel, and half a dozen or so caches before lunch, including this slightly sneaky hide. We approve of these types of hides, as they are always dry, up off the ground and use a bit of imagination. Thanks for another one jp.

We are heading to Cunnamulla from Maryborough.
Short hop today Roma to St George.
Nice to have some caches to look for along our route to break up our journey.

Easy one to find today. Away from home for eight weeks, from Caloundra. On our way home now, decided to visit Surat. Tftc
#13560 - 9:10:00 AM; Day three of the Townsville Mega adventure with Sol de lune and after spending the night in Surat, set out to collect the local caches before heading further afield. It would be a long day on the road as we added counties to our caching maps. The many places visited included Roma, Muckadilla, Wallumbilla, Jackson, Taroom, Theodore and Eidsvold and on to Mundubbera for the night. All caches were found in good order unless otherwise noted in the logs. All logs were signed L.L10n and Sdl or vice versa. Apologies for the largely generic logs [:o)] TFTC jpgordo
Day 3 of a road trip to Townsville to with LuckyL10n and today we drove from Surat through Roma, Muckadilla, Wallumbilla, Taroom, Theodore, Eidsvold and Mundubbera were we finished for the day.
Lots of different caches found, all without any major issues. We dodge the floodwaters around Surat although the bridge is certainly under threat of going under in the next few days.
Thanks to all caches owners. Most logs were signed SDL / L Lion.

The first for the day as we head out and a nice straightforward one with no one about yet.
Today’s trip saw us travel from Roma to St George as we work our way to Cunnamulla from where we will launch our journey back to Victoria. We picked up a range of caches designed to. Real up the journey and had a mini tour of Surat. A short day travelling and some good sightseeing and caching.
Thank you to the local COs for developing and maintaining the caches to enhance our travels.

Heading back to Surat after a quick visit to get our
firewood basket welded back together, this cache just begged to be found. Fortunately I found it quickly as it was dusk and the kangas were becoming active.

Since we were only travelling from Roma to Surat today, my snuggle muggle was happy for me to make a few quick stops along the way ... and they only needed to be short as all caches were in fairly routine locations.
Thanks for this mini series jpgordo.

This cache is well tucked out of the way at this pit stop. Muggles in their car didn’t even see me
Dropped a trackable I picked up in South Australia many moons ago before the lockdown.

Great rest stop cache. The two marimbas had us in their sights and were doing a top job guarding their mob. TFTC jpgordo.
Travelling with doscrapbooking (my daughter) on our return Toowoomba to Winton trip. We have been very lucky with camping and sites just opened. Camping at Surat tonight. Tftc

Nice quick find, signed and replaced in its hidey hole.

9138 Located by bayby&Mrs gopher at 0950. ( Small logs signed bMgopher ). After packing up in Roma this morning with the almost mandatory shopping before getting mobile done we decided to find and log some more of your hides. Thank you for making the drive a little more interesting and entertaining. All in good condition. SL Tnx jpgordy
Homeward bound from QOGM2019 and collecting caches along the way. Stopping for the caches makes the drive go along much quicker. Thanks to all the COs for placing these caches and making the trip much safer.
Travelling from Roma to Goondiwindi on the way back home after attending QOGM 2019 at Blackall. Looking for caches along the highways and in towns of Surat and St George. Thanks to all CO's for the placement of these caches - greatly appreciated. Signed the log and placed back where found. TFTC
Left Blackall after the QOGM event, heading south for St. Arnaud event next month. Day 41 of our trip. Caching along the way. A total of 6 caches for the day and 1432 for the trip. TFTC
Found by Mary and David at 14:58. Our last for the day. By the time we do some shopping, and refill the GeoPrado, it will be time to repack for our morning departure. Our thanks to jpgordo for showing us Roma and surrounds, and providing us with such enjoyment and fun.
An easy find by The Marathon Man and pnutbeagle as we continue our holiday trip around Australia - Today we traveled from Roma, QLD to Lightning Ridge, NSW.
This was one of the 13 caches found today - most were easy but a couple were a challenge.

Monday. After making the journey to Carnarvon Gorge for International Geocache Day, we are now on the return journey. Very clever hide here. We zeroed in on this one quickly though as there aren’t a lot of places to hide anything here. Log signed and cache replaced as found.
This was the 2nd of 22 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***jpgordo***, for showing us this place.

After attending the event in Barcaldine we are travelling this way to get home in a convoluted way. Out with Snakepiters and we found this cache. Nice one. Thankyou jpgordo for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area
When I read there was a trackable in there I knew where to look. Unfortunately there was no trackable in it, but at least I found the cache, before Muggle Hubby this time, thanks for hiding it there.
We have headed west and north and now time head a little south before going west. I am shocked at the mess people leave in these areas. We found the cache quickly and signed our names. TFTC jpgordo
Nice quick find and picked up a TB to travel with us for a while. Thanks for the cache.
Hi there jpgordo.
We are on our way to [QOGM](https://coord.info/GC7P875), the Queensland Outback Geocaching Muster, which is being held in Barcaldine. We cached towards Surat, and back towards Roma today. There were loads of muggles when we passed this morning, but none on our return trip.
Our find total today was 12 caches & we DNF'd 1. Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels as we continue our nomadic wanderings around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache around 3m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Heading up the highway from Surat to Roma and using caching as an opportunity to have a break from driving This was a clever hiding spot but the coordinates were spot on leading to a quick find TFTC jpgordo
Big journey today - not! from Surat to to Roma caching along the way and picking up a few in town where we are staying for a few days. All caches were 3asy finds and in good condition. Thanks for placing and maintaining these caches which add highlights to our travels. Nothing taken or left and all logs were signed, sometimes as SG as I often do in small caches to save space.
Great stop, kiddo found money at this stop as well as the cache! One happy geocacher!!
I have had a few days traveling west from Toowoomba, as far as just past Mitchell, and now back again finding geocaches along the way.
Today was the , and back again, bit.
I started at Mitchell and headed into the morning sun. [^]
Found after a really short search. [^]
Thanks for the cache.
