Yes. Yes. Yes. In the year 1999 we undertook a trip around the world and came also to this interesting place. Because it at that time still no Geocaching gave we find only fair to undertake now this trip virtually once again and to make up for logging the places which we at that time already visit have.

Yes. Yes. Yes.

My nongeocaching hubby and I were invited to spend 4 days in DC with my son and daughter-in-law who was going there to attend a convention. I've been to DC a few times but that was before caching so caching was my mission for this trip. This is another memorial I have walked past and never took the time to really look at. Thanks for bringing me to both memorials.
I had gathered the needed information for this during my epic virtual run in DC on Saturday. Grabbed 23, and made this number 1 on day 2. GZ was awesome, especially since I had never been to this part of DC before, and a women's half marathon was in process. They were running in an endless line across the river. Just great!
Grabbed the final answers, and headed toward the tidal basin to continue my virtual quest.

Out geobiking around the area while visiting from Ohio. I started this one yesterday but couldn't finish it until today. Just too much to see and do in the area, I never quite made it over there!
Didn't have a ton of time in DC, but did manage to get this one in. Will email answers when I get home. Thanks.
This was a great day to be running around picking up virtuals and earthcaches. The weather was perfect for us today and the cherry blossoms were in bloom! Thanks for putting this one together for us to come and visit. Email with answers on the way!
In the area with superhooper. Sure wish virtuals were still allowed. You learn so much and visit so many interesting places. Email sent from superhooper. Thanks for the visit.
On the eighth day of our trip from Canada, we got up very early to spend the day biking in Washington. The weather was great and the cherry trees were blooming. While biking around, we found several caches, including 27 virtual and 2 earthcaches. After our day, we headed back toward Zombie Land to pick up a few additional caches from the Zombie series.
We really enjoyed all those virtual caches that enabled us to visit very interesting places. Our answers have been sent to the CO. A favourite point is awarded for the cache.
Thanks for this nice virtual cache and for giving us the opportunity to get out and do our favourite hobby.

Spent four days in the Washington DC area with Laura (no name) and a bunch of eighth graders during their annual trip. Got to see a lot of interesting and unique sights along the way. The virtual and earth caches really helped to amplify the experience. The kids helped out with some of the answers, so it was a learning experience for them as well. Thanks to all cache owners that took the time to create these pages. TFTC
Another 8th grade trip but this time BW got to come with. Usually we don't get to focus on a lot of geocaches but with another person and someone enthusiastic about caching we could spend some time getting these unique virtuals and earthcaches. And the kids helped! (Sorry I am so late in logging - I am horrible at this. BW emailed answers for both of us a month ago.) TFTC
Catching up on some overdue logging. I always try to grab some caches when I come to town. Thanks for setting this one up for us. Answers will be sent next.
Well for starters... Email sent to CO.
I (The Zombie) have been here for the last couple of days visiting on business from Northern California. I spotted this cache before coming out here and, initially at least, my interest was piqued as this cache fills in a Jasmer month for Team ZombieDragonfly.
Stage 1 was accomplished a couple of days ago (Wednesday the 1st), the numbers recorded, the translation done and the coordinate of the final determined. Being on foot, there was no way I was going to go for the final on Wednesday as I'd already logged six hiking miles up and down the National Mall.
Fast-forward to today (Friday). Work finished a bit early and I had scoped out a ride on the Metro to save some walking. Once I got out the front door of the hotel I thought, "Oh what the hey, let's walk it." So, another almost seven miles to and fro. So, in addition to another Jasmer month, seeing a couple of monuments I would not have otherwise seen, I managed to burn quite a few calories in the pursuit of this virtual.
The weather we near perfect, the Mall wonderful (particularly at and after sunset). All in all a very nice excuse to get out and put in a bunch of miles.

I've been close to this one a couple of times in the past but I have never been able to both locations until this afternoon. I arrive early this afternoon for a business trip that wasn't going to start until the evening so I was off and walking. It was great walking around the city grabbing caches when I could and taking in the sights that never get old to me. TFTC. TFT virutal.

This one turned out to be one of our favorites! We did location 1 on our first day in DC and made our way to the final location on our last day! Email will be sent shortly! Thanks for bringing us here - we loved learning about the history !
Found this multi on a bike ride on a beautiful fall day in our nation's capital. Two spots that aren't well known but that do have a cool connection. Great view from the second spot! TFTC!
In town for a convention and grabbing some caches near the hotel. Took a quick cab to get to this spot. Great day to be out caching. Took awhile but we made the connection. Email is on the way TFTV

Our first full day here in Washington DC. After visiting the Phillips Collection and Arlington we started walking towards and along the Mall area. Grabbed the info at WP1 and a bit later in the day (after several other virtuals) made our way to GZ. I like the Connection ! Very Good ! Info gathered and sent to CO.
Thanks bigcall !! A Favourite Point from Me !

Last time in D.C I picked up abcd. This time it was time to finish the 2nd stage. Thanks for showing the place - I don't think I ever would have gone to this place without this VC.
We tried really hard to miss the connection here but somehow managed to come up with the find. We did the first half yesterday and visited the final today.
Thanks for the virtual

Lostsole & I started making the Connection yesterday & came to finish it up today. I must say when we arrived at GZ for stage 2, it looked nothing like a scene from a move...just like condos...Obviously we have screwed something up here...I finally resorted to using my fairy ways & coaxed the final out of one of the condo dwellers..Suprisingly enough he knew exactly where we needed to be & off we went. So thanks to the friendly muggle who spoke little english..I guess pictures look the same in any language
TFTV & bringing us to this side of DC. Answers sent for Lostsole & myself

We have been wanting to make the trek to DC for quite sometime but wanted to wait until the weather cooled down a bit. This weekend was supposed to be perfect and we couldn't wait...we got on the road Saturday morning only to be stuck in a few miles worth of traffic that had been stalled for hours. Not being the ind of people who can stand not moving we immediately changed out plans, got off the highway as quickly as possible and tried the whole ting over again this AM. Luckily we encountered much better circumstances and were able to get to DC, find 20-something virtuals/earthcaches/multis in 3.5 hours and almost nine miles AND make it home before dark! This was one of the great caches we encountered on this wonderful day. Thanks so much for bringing us here, looks just like in the movie - email sent!
Great cache, found together with lleine during a trip in the U.S. Thanks to the owner for giving log permission! Best regards from Germany and TFTC
rleine sent the message out to the owner. We have been here together at the end of our geocaching trip though the U.S. and Canada. Thanks to the owner for placing the cache and giving log permission!
Easy find while in town with mom today. Taking in the sites since this is our first time walking around the city. Email will be sent with answers in just a minute. TFTC!
Made quick work of the first waypoint, and likewise with the second, once I got there. TFTH
Heading to the East Coast and then north in our RV, grabbing assorted caches along the way. A special thanks to all the cache owners that make this hobby possible. Thanks for the fun, caches and hides. All logs marked with a circled "GB". Today was a special day we rode the Metro into DC and walked way to many miles in the processing of grabbing 20 Virtuals and 7 Earthcaches. If any answers are required they are or will be messaged to the appropriate CO.
#691 I finally was able to complete this cache. I retrieved the required info when I did the caches around the White House. I wasn't able to complete it during that day since the 2nd waypoint is a little farther away. I got to visit the 2nd waypoint today. If it weren't for this virtual cache, I would have just passed by the 1st memorial and wouldn't have known about the 2nd memorial. Thanks for the virtual cache!
VERY cool cache, and the second step was one of the monuments and memorials in DC that neither of us had ever seen. Thanks for the well-thought-out cache and for showing us something new in a city we know very well!
I am in the area from Savannah Georgia for work and of course I remembered my G P S'r so that I could feed this addition of Geo Caching. The coordinates for this cache were accurate and it did not take me too long to have the needed information or log in hand, depending on the type of cache. Thanks for putting this together and for bringing me to this area.
I came into the area for the weekend to keep the streak alive and visit friends. It is always nice to be in fresh geo caching territory turning icons in to smiles! Remember, it is all about the miles and the smiles. ~TFTC
