The dream is moving on as this house has been sold, Tim will no longer be here to smile at Geocachers.
So sadly we are archiving the cache and Tim's buzzy bee will now retire to live in our garden
Happy caching folks

What a gorgeous day at Pukehina, man I hate doing this type of caches.....LOL. You feel like you shouldn't be here, dropped a NZ Mega 2013 coin which we moved along, but wasn't sure how to track this as has no trackable number on it. Maybe someone else knows what to do here, if so let me know so I can track it. Have already made contact with owner and they were happy for us to move along . TFTC Cheers Keltic-Kiwi
One of the many caches we found on our campervan journey from Lower Hutt to Tauranga. A mighty and enjoyable journey through many great and iconic parts of the north island. Many thanks to the many CO's for the great cache placements and for bringing us to new places. Sorry for the generic log.
A beautiful place and a beautiful day to go with it. All good here, nice quick find. TFTC
Today is International Earthcache Day so a plann was hatched some time ago for White Island in conjunction with Alpenmilch80. However due to weather cancellations it has now worked out (this is our fourth attempt) so now today we are finally going . Needless to say that this was going to be a very long but memorable day (left home at 3.20am, got home at 7.45pm). Our planned meet up time was 6am at the Mount for the adventure to begin.
So in the company with Sleschke we headed over for what was going to be a most memorable day out with good friends in a great and unique spot.
As time was not always on our side this was our first cache along the way, had been here before but there had always been plenty of muggles to discourage any hunting. Today we had a nice and quick find with a beach devoid of others.
thanks for the placement, thanks for the cache

Plans were made with C&D to visit white island but those plans were postponed a couple of times. Luckily we rescheduled to today which turned out to be earthcache day . Slieschke decided to join the fun and wow what an amazing sunny and stunning day we had. Stunning to be at GZ at sunrise. Cute little hint . TFTC
a lovely beach - we have never been here before - thanks for the cach getting us to visit here
Well this one certainly got me closer to a house than I am comfortable with.
But....armed with the knowledge that the residents know and or own the cache, I found it fairly easily.
I'm glad the container wasn't the item that was covered with wasps.........live wasps I mean.

We headed out to Pukehina Beach this morning to have our breakfast - ah Living the Dream. Walked along the beach then approached a back fence towards GZ. We then had to try and explain geocaching to the lady who was house-sitting for the owners, before making the find. TFTC.
A spot well known to us as we had a caravan in the camping ground for ten years.
Once we got there, the cache was buzzy obvious.

A beautiful location - the residents were clearly at home, not sure if they noticed us or not; TFTC
Gotta 'bee' honest, this one made us feel a little uncomfortable. Obviously everything is fine but it feels.... not fine.. A nice home, spot, container (buzzy indeed). Finished signing log when ?Tims wife unleashed the hounds! Back to the car park, we were running late anyway. TFTC
Quick find right on darkness. A few fisherman closeby but they were far too busy to see what i was up to. A nice quick find, fortunately no one home in the house above. TFTC!
An easy find on the way to tauranga creators of the box were on the deck watching us with giggles. Many people fishing today. Tftc
This one has been waiting for us for a while now and we have finally grabbed it, nice here today albeit rough. TFTC
Touring with our daughters from Canada and having the most excellent of adventures. TFTC.
Had to go out of my comfort zone to locate this one. Pretty disguise, thanks for stashing this cache :0)
Was getting dark so it proved a little difficult as we tried not to be conspicuous with our phone torch!!!
Enjoyed the visit. TFTC SL TNLN

My dad and I did a day caching, while my sister stayed at home. Was down and Pukehina today and showed her the cache. Cleverly made and saw the TB, so took it and will be taking it up to Auckland.
took my neice on a "treasure hunt" on xmas eve. down the beach a little bit from our beach house dropped of a trackable cache.
lovely spot TFTC

Lovely little hiding spot - a great one for the kids. Took a marvellous hand made koura, left 3 little trinkets. TFTC
Appropriately named cache. Well done Tim. Our thirteen cache find of the day. What a gorgeous spot! TFTC Dominic-Aidan

Aren't you indeed (living the dream) very nice and a favourite from us. Left travel bug.
My one for the day. I didn't see the locals but pleased to find that the cache is not too difficult. It isn't pleasant having to hunt around so close to private property. TFTC I hope you guys are getting your one a day for the month. Take that anyway you like.
Tim has been a busy boy! Well done, looks very nice... especially on a day like today.
Early start for a cache challenge today, nice safe place for a cache with guardians nearby, took the TB TFTC.
Great cache on a lovely beach. Dropped off a tb. . Not sure if anyone in the house was watching or not. Tftc
When we first arrived there was a crowd of muggles having a picnic in the car park so we went and did Dotty for Dotterels first. On the way back we stopped and bought a most delicious pie, fresh from the oven, for lunch, which we ate in the car park before heading off to do the cache.
Down on the beach was the same crowd of muggles this time sitting on the sand playing cards. !
However by the time we arrived at GZ we were not visible. After a short hunt....ahah...look at this. VERY cute.
Great hide. No one home at the house today. Tim was a very buzzy boy.
Well done Dominic-Aidan. Thanks.

Easy find despite 3 wasp nests nearby. We gave a bach nearby and have seen Timmy fishing and kayaking before.
#125 - found an a Easter Geocaching hunt, this was really quite clever, was a tad wary getting so close to the house, but it was a nice find.

A clever little hide in a very pleasant spot. Had no trouble with the find. It was a nice and tidy container. A few fishermen were scattered along the beach enjoying the evening and the prospect of a catch. The shape of the beach did suggest a few nasty rips coming through here, and there was a steep drop off. Perhaps not the best place for a swim. Now to find some fish and chips and stay for a while to enjoy sunset. TFTC

Quiet here this morning -Beach is beautiful with a good swell and waves pounding on the beach. Always love it down here but never been brave enough to go swimming. Don't think anyone was home today and not sure whether the neighbours knew what I was up to. Loved the cache especially when I realised that I didn't have to go near the wasp nest on the fence TFTC
Been holidaying in pukehina for the last 10 years or so, so was very excited to see there was a new cache here this time. Very well constructed cache. A favorite point because it's my favorite place:D
Might have been a bit early on a Sunday morning for any watchers - we keen cachers start bright & early. Great spot. Love the cache too - earns a fav from us.
First the day on the way down the coast. Didn't see Tim,might have been a tad early.Nicely placed, thankyou.

Nightmares, no power left in batts, no clues, but had a quick look around these dunes behind houses, hope you had a good laugh watching me,
good fish n chips though a bit further down road to make up for it,

We know the owners of the house and my parents, who put the cache out there, were with us also, so our find was cause for much celebration and liquid amber was justly and dutifully drunk in the garage afterwards. Great bumblebee! Thanks Ma and Pa.
Beautiful beach and cache in a great spot. Tim and his family buzzed out to say hello...they are certainly living the dream. Nice easy and cute find, a favourite for us. We then had a lovely fish'n'chip meal on the beach (from the first cafe/shop which was recommended by Tim and co)
Glad we didn't try to race to Whak this afternoon...just knew D'n'A would happen to be there

Quick find with the help of Missa, great day to be at the beach. Picked up TB to shift on soon. TFTF.
Good find. Hint is helpful. Good chat with property owner where cache is located.

Yay, another podium finish...... [:p]
We had a giggle at the cache name, is that slogan not borrowed from a suburb not that far away???
We do love coming to Pukehina but only ever seem to come here when a cache is placed, which unfortunately is not very often...... hint hint......
Arrived in the carpark to some young men posing to each other's camera's, they too seemed to be living their own dream I guess..... Luckily they took their dreams with them and moved on while Mr Geckoh ran to GZ as a big rain cloud was looming. On approach he spotted a likely GZ, a quick look and he discovered a well hidden cache container, very effective hide!! Worthy of a Favourite I reckon!!

FTF. The dog was in need of some exercise, so we decided to go for a cache run along the beach.
Followed the gps to begin with, then navigated by sight until I spotted a clue. The cache was nicely hidden and a great job has been done in concealment. I didn't expect to be the first to sign the log, though that was a bonus. Left the TB as I've transported this one before. TFTC. FTF
