Found the Tree and a small path in. We didn't have a by closed in shoes so decided to not risk it
What an enormous tree! I put the phone down about 80m away and just enjoyed the stroll. Stunning . The log is full and cache broken.

Christmas afternoon walk, found this geo after a bit of searching . The park has recently been flooded but container is dry, albeit broken with a full log. TFTC
Found it, dodged te doggie muggles
As per previoud posts, briken container and full log

Terrain pretty average near the dead tree. Still couldn't find it unfortunately??
We rode our bikes to find the cache in such excitement. However we couldn't find it. We found some nails in the tree that looked like it might hang from ️
After checking a few previous posts we were able to find the cache. The container is broken and logs are full.
Today, I joined karicka in a morning hike in the Dandy Ranges, walking past part of Lake Manchester. It was a nippy morning that got warm, with a number of steep hills walked up and down. After lunch, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I headed to the northern suburbs, where we stopped off at Strathpine, Leis Park, Petrie and Old Petrie Town, and completed the *The North Pine Heritage Trail* Adventure Lab. We ended up running out time exploring Old Petrie Town, so another trip to be scheduled no doubt.
The standing dead tree certainly stood out to us, and we walked to the side of this small bushland to where I thought would give us best access. However, it looked like a serious jungle in reaching. However, just a few metres away, I found a jungle "opening" that allowed me in accessing GZ reasonably easily, and certainly an impressive old tree upon getting there too. After searching around the old stump, I eventually tried an approach that yielded sight of the cache container. The cache container lid was cracked, and the logbook was full, so probably time for a CO TLC visit to repair/replace. A few mosquitos were buzzing around me as I signed, so I made sure to expedite the cache duties before reding. Thanks Raimeeshannon and JasmineHayley for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

In the middle of the nearby Adventure Lab, spotted the dead tree a fair way off and came closer for a look for the cache. Despite what I thought was a extensive search in and around the tree, could not spot the cache.
Couldn’t find it last time, came back out in some sunshine and got it. Hiding away.
TFTC. We were out in Petrie with muff1 today.Ir was lunch time so we stopped in the park. Spotted the required landmark and after lunch found our way to GZ. A quick search and a step up we had the cache in hand. Found a spot to sign and returned the container. Container could do with some TLC.
Did more bush bashing than was probably necessary but eventually arrived at GZ. Being vertically challenged & noting that it is necessary to step up I came away empty handed
A lovely morning in this area led me to this old tree. A bit of a step up and the cache was spied. Log signed and cache replaced as found. Thanks to the CO’s for placing it here.
The name really does say it all. Took a bit of searching but found it. Short people might need a leg up. Shame the container is in bad condition. But still good to find it!
Finally, after about 4 years since having to DNF this cache, I managed to turn it into a smiley at last. There was a lot more grass than last time, and some trees had begun to grow as well.
Unfortunately, the container has a hole and the log is full as well. Nonetheless, the location and the hide deserve a Favourite Point!

I was a little concertned I was going to have to wade through head high grass but thankfully an easy access point revealed itself. It's an impressive dead tree but it gave up the cache quickly. Sadly, the cache has a large hole in it although the full logbook is dry. TFTC
Enjoyed lunch in the park before heading over to find this cache. Perfect name for the cache. We were worried about the length of the grass we thought we might have to push through but found a clearer spot to access GZ a little further along. Large hole in the lid of the cache but log still ok to sign. TFTC Raimeeshannon
Wandered across the grassy area towards the obvious dead tree, hoping to see a reasonable access point, which we did a few metres past GZ. Plenty of growth to push through to get to the monumental tree, where it took us a little bit of searching before we spotted the little geocache. We did marvel at the units that have been built backing onto this park, given how the area has been destroyed by floods on numerous occasions – I wouldn’t be caught dead living here despite the lovely amenities.

The dog off leash area that you need to go through to get to the cache is closed off. There are some serious signs in capital red letters to say that you can’t get in.

Thank you, Raimeeshannon, JasmineHayley, for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

Such a good hiding spot! My partner and I ended up doing this one in the dark which made it a but more creepier but so much more fun. Almost left without the luck of finding it but i convinced my partner to chuck me on his shoulders (we are both shorties) and we found it almost instantly. So theres a tip if your coming on here for another hint and you have an extra pair of hands to help you
Meet up with the folks to complete the Adventure Lab in the area. Had to grab a trad for the day for mum so we wandered over this way and made the quick find.
Out and about on a beautiful autumn day, taking a nice walk with geopup along this trail in Petrie.
This one took a bit of time, but found the sneaky little hide.
Log signed, all replaced as found. Thanks Raimeeshannon, JasmineHayley for the great cache.

This is the third time that I have been here looking for this cache and I was determined that I would find it this time.
It took me 15 seconds to locate the cache but only 10 seconds to spot the snake skin. No sign of the owner.

After finished the Petrie historic lab adventure trail this cache was 170m away so I couldn't not look for it. Searched for a bit then found the sneaky hide. Cool tree. TFTC

Quick find after bush bashing through impenetrable jungle. Bats have moved into the trees nearby.
Found
Super cool location, watch out for spikey trees. But definitely a favourite

Headed to the 'North' side to track down a few Adventute Lab caches & grab a few nearby traditionals in the process.
That tree is AMAZING!
As I approached GZ I was confronted by a wall of wild grass that was over 7 feet tall & there was no evidence of a way in.
I looked left & right then said to myself "Your a cacher", tooka step forward, made sure no-one was nearby or watching & quietly slipped into a different dimensions.
Parting the grass I made my way forward towards GZ, all the while staying fully aware that it is STILL snake season.
Swishing the grass from side to side to make (hopefully) enough noise to persuade any scaly friends to move aside I closed in on the cache.
WOW!
A few minutes checking out the crime scene then it was down to business.
Of course the cache was in the LAST place I looked! LOL ...
Nice one!
Made our mark & replaced as found.
TFTC Raimeeshannon
A favourite point for GZ, very impressive indeed!

Having spent the day in Toowoomba with PPrime and Crew153 and surpassing our goal of 100 caches for the day, Fangsoki and I decided to up the score and continue caching on our return home.
We added a few of this series to the day/night’s hunting in the wet weather.
This spot is certainly a little creepy at night - but then what would someone expect at night from a cache called “dead tree standing”?
A bit of a hunt before the sneaky cache revealed itself.
Thanks for the cache Raimeeshannon, JasmineHayley.

Nice spot. Easy to notice the right location but took a minute or so to find once at GZ. TFTC
Tftc. Saw where we had to go and headed off. Geo hubby had a look and couldn't see it anywhere. I had a look and nah I couldn't see it anywhere either. My problem was I wasn't tall enough. Geo hubby came up with the goods after another look.
Out on foot on a mission to get my 300th cache, hot day but a cool breeze at my back helped TFTC love this cache
Well....Im quite tall.....& I climbed & climbed, way higher than the rating wood suggest I should....then, finding nothing..... found it on my way down & T4TC

We were at MrsGeo's Grandson's 1st Birthday today, in the park. I managed to sneak off for a bit of caching.
As I made my way through the busy dog park, I was soon hounded by some very friendly dogs.
While their owners were busy talking, I managed to sneak into GZ without being seen.
After a fair bit of a search I soon had the sneaky cache in hand.
Once the log was signed, everything was replaced exactly as found.
On the way out, there were no dogs to be seen.

What a lovely spot! Lived in the area for a long time and didn’t know it was there
The tree is beautifully hollowed with lots of nooks and crannies and just perfect for a geocache. It took us some time to find the hidden container but finally it was spotted.
My house is full of the neighbourhood children so I've left them with Sandra and headed out for some peace and quiet and to collect caches for the Mystery at the Museum series.
A nice quick find.
Thanks!!

Wow that was fun. Kids had a blast, first trekking through the long grass then climbing up inside a tree Took a little bit to find but were very excited once it was spotted. Very clever and beautiful place to hide a cache. Didn’t have a pen on us so took a phlog.
Monday mornings are for geocaching now for myself and my partner. He doesn’t love it as much as I do but he still helps me find them. I wouldn’t be doing this one in summer that’s for sure as the grass is super long. I found this one myself as my partner was afraid there would be spiders. I really like this one and will give it a fav point because I really love old trees like this. Thanks for the cache.
What a great park, so much space, but the grass at GZ was a little daunting but with a look around we soon found a reasonably clear area where the grass was only head high, yes we are serious, head high. We needed a TOTT to spot this sneaky/well placed cache. All is good with the cache. SL TFTC
After visiting North Pine markets we came down here for lunch. Was happy to find there were three traditional caches that we could find. Great place to hide a cache. Took a little bit for us to find exactly where it was hidden. TFTC.
Found with Quesera nice quick find it’s all in the name, thank you for placing this cache here
Awesome tree . Sharpem and I enjoyed this park and tree . At gz I climbed a little to spot the cache. I found a travel bug not entered so rescued it. Thanks for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Took some looking but did it... with a tall person willing to confront some spiders...
