TFTC!wondering if the homeowner across the path is displaying the flag to show they also found the cache!
Thanks Kirdonnemo for hiding this cache, I needed a find for today to update my calendar and find streak. Your Traditional cache, Dead or Alive, was just what I needed. This is my find #1552 at 06:10 on 9/5/2024.
A really nice spot for a cache. With Mobi702 and Terence TB who is having a lovely time in Tassie. TFTC
Nice walk path. No muggles due to starting to sprinkle a bit. TFTC with Sillybugger
On a lovely walk along the Taroona fpreshore to collect a few caches, This one was on the list. After a short search cache found. Wasn't sure what the title for cache was until arrival. With a little looking cache found and signed. TFTC
I walk past this with the dog almost everyday however beause of the dog never really stopped to grab this cache. Walking past on the weekend and the cache itself was exposed. Moved back out of plain view. TFTC.
Going for a walk with a client, introducing him to geocaching. Quick find with the hint

At first I was looking for it for around 20 minutes with no results so I went home thinking that it had been taken or lost, but when ii found out there was a tip button I had go back and find it.
Awesome geo-cache, but the hint was needed.

Found today while out caching with Zozetta. We began the day at Sandy Bay, then made our way down to Taroona, then Bonnet Hill, Kingston Beach, and then back to Taroona for another multi, finding some good quality caches along the way. We found nine traditionals, three multis and one mystery, ending up with a total of thirteen finds and, unfortunately, four DNFs. A fun day out with many new locations discovered.
While I searched the wrong place Zozetta made the find.
Thanks for the cache Kirdonnemo!

Flag is a nice hint! Found quickly, had to be careful attempting though. Left a precious crystal for next person
Great views and our team particularly liked the smiley flag flying above

Thanks Kirdonnemo for placing this cache. I searched all five trees within 15m of gz. Unable to find a cache. Thanks for the challenge
Find #: 2,803
Companions: None
Muggles: None
Weather: Pleasant autumn morning
Cache condition: Fine (didn't seem to have the issues mentioned in other logs?)
In Tassie for a few days I decided to go for a jog 'n cache around Taroona. I was following the track from the south and managed to overshoot as I wasn't paying attention, so went on to just past the school until I couldn't progress further before back-tracking. Once back at GZ I spotted the container on approach, so after completing the formalities (TNLNSL) hid it a bit better. TFTC

TFTC! Took a little while to find but found it eventually. It does look a bit damaged though.
Definitely dead. As was the cache. Cache was laying in the open with the lid off and no contents. It also appears to have been chewed by mice or other rodents... I replaced the log with a sheet of stone paper in a zip lock bag, put the lid back on, and rehid the cache, but it still needs a new container at some point. Nice little walk and worth continuing along to see the little huts and the park to the North. Thanks Kirdonnemo, hope this fix will last a while.
While this was a great cache to find (beautiful scenery and an easy walk), it is in desperate need of maintenance. The cache was exposed and had been gutted of its contents.
Found the cache container, but the log inside has completely disintegrated. Needs some maintenance. TFTC!
QOTSA was reading this hint for the last cache which confused us! He then pre-logged this cache by accident so the pressure was on to actually find it! Found it we did although the cache contents were open and missing. Thank you!! This find brings me to a new reach the peak souvineer
Found it!
First one. A good hunt and adventure. Log still present and some treasures too.

My 3rd find for the day
Parked the GeoMobile in the Norwood Ave cul-de-sac and walked through the pathway to the beach to this one.
A bit of a search at the either Dead or Alive tree and no cache was found.
Into past logs for a hint maybe. I didn't have to dig too deep and there was an extremely handy hint which saw me shift my search by about 10m south to make a quick find [^]

The cache and contents were fine and dry

Had to read other logs to find . This one is a good 10m south of the GPS point.
Scrambled about and there it was out in the open
Tucked back in for the next lucky person.

A beautiful early autumn day to find a cache at a beautiful location. Contents now shells, gum nut, leaf, flower, rock and trinket.
May need to replace container soon as there are some small holes in the bottom corners but contents were dry.

Will revisit later and search a bit wider from the somewhat shattered dead (ish) tree.
Found it! Took us a while, good hiding spot. Left a little friend behind in the cache, long overdue to send him on his way!
One of three caches found this afternoon whilst on a walk along the foreshore track. Lots of muggles out exercising but we managed to quickly grab this one without being seen. TFTC!

Hi Kirdonnemo, well this was a doozy of a cache. Wandered along the very wet and muddy path this afternoon but the sun was shining and very warm. Found what I thought to be GZ and after ten minutes of climbing over and around realised it wasn't. Read Treasuretrakas log oh ok down the slope a bit so back along the track to the beach and back along and up mmm not there either. Back on the track found another tree eight metres off nope not at the base of that one either. Hang on what is that down there, aha you beauty!!. Not sure if it has cache creep or not but GZ is 11 to 12 metres off according to my GPS. Anyway opened the big container only the log in there and that is looking a bit tattered. Overall a fun cache for me and I think deserves a FP. Took the TB.
Checked a few locations before we spotted a likely hide area just down the slope a bit.
Left a TB

Only contains a rainbow button and a marble, now. Log book/paper is wet, couldn't write on it....
A DNF avenged here. I note that the log book looks to be missing and the piece of paper substituting is a bit tattered.
Out for a walk along the allm track, been meaning to do this for a long time, cache OK. Quick find. TFTC
Wooo! Saw the broken plastic that others talked about... but it’s not that tree! Look further
Found location . lots of broken container plastic . needs maintenance . Thanks for the locations PocketWatch and IDon'tHaveOne2001
Had a good search of all the potential spots in the area but had no luck. Resealable bag found in bush nearby, so possibly muggled?
