Didnt need to do the multi, took a guess and it paid off. Another unusual monument
#500 popped out here this afternoon to pick up this multi. Our final coords were a good 10m out but we found it easily using the hint. TFTC
Found the coordinates and the container, but looks like it gas been hit by a lawn mower, see photo. No sign of the log. Have placed a new log and container at coordinates and hint. Found with teamrosenz and mrlgrose. TFTC.
After spending some time working this out, we go the coordinates. We reached the GZ and saw cache container ripped to pieces by what we think mustve been a lawnmower. Replaced the cache.
Answers gathered simply enough, although did come across a small hiccup in calculating the final. Quickly resolved, but the trouble wasn't over yet as a mower seems to have run over the container and left a chunk of it in the paddock. Fortunately had a spare container in the car, so replaced as well as left the original chunk as a memento of sorts. Cheers
I needed to come to Waipukurau for a family reason and so decided to come and sign off this multi that I need for a multi dot-day challenge that will be olaced in Christchurch shortly.
This is an unusual monument and a bit of a change from the usual obilesk.I had to dodge a few showers.
Cheers for the cache. buttels.

On our way to begin the Viking series with Team Welsh, we stopped for a handful of caches along the way.
We made the mistake of letting the phone navigate us to Hatuma instead of to the posted coords of this multi. Who knew there were 2 such places in this area! After a much longer drive through the countryside than necessary we arrived at the correct Hatuma. We inspected the plaque and calculated the final coordinates, and were happy to see that the final was not very far away. Nice to have another multi smilie, Thanks.

Visited here before doing some of the vikings trail. Random spot but always respect the sacrifices made. Tftc
06:48 a 2 day expedition to the wilds around Dannevirke, chasing down the Vikings with Crystal Fairy and Barefootguru, most logs signed as BIC to save space and time.
The multi for today. Thank you. Been meaning to do this one for a few years. As we were woken up by cows before 5.30, we made an early start and this was the first stop, BFG found it while I was still adjusting my head torch!
TFTC buttels for placing this cache, number 12447 for me.

We crashed last night after the drive from Wellington and caching, and woke up early before breakfast was available. Nothing to do but head out for a few caches Quick find as the dawn was breaking, satisfying a multi dot day for me + Infoferret (found years ago by our driver CrystalFairy). Thanks buttels!
Tftc, we were hopeful this one was still here after such a long time between finds
Presently working in Palmy although still based on the East coast. Travelling down to Palmy with spare time to cache so taking some back routes. Way more interesting then just speeding down SH2. Nice straight forward multi. Cache all fine. Thanks for the smiley.

A nice little multi, on an early morning roam around some out of the way spots. Calculations completed and cache soon in hand. TFTC

This cache was missing in when I went looking for it in 2014. No problems today - I found it in the obvious place.
Nice little multi, no probs working out the answers and a nice find of the cache at the final. Thank you for the multi and for showing us this community memorial. Cheers
Never been down this road before. Didn't take long to get the coordinates sorted and a quick find of the cache. Thanks for setting this up. Thank you
Plans this weekend was to travel to Waiarapa. This is an area we really have only scraped the surface with a few caches.
So many puzzles, multi's and traditional caches in area. Weather not looking good, but this is caching.
Left Rotorua about 5.30pm and plans were to be in Waipukurau over night. Arrived about 9.15pm found digs for the night and settled in so why not now grab a few caches beofore the end of this day.
I had planned our travel map for this weekend, solved heaps of puzzles and some multi's.
I was the driver and Squirrel Nutcase was the navigator and logger of cache info. SLogsTFTC

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)...
We have been planning for Queen's Birthday weekend for some time - routes and caches were identified and mapped, and Gap solved a whole lot of puzzles in readiness for this adventure. We scoured many online logs and took note of the condition of the caches and their logbooks. We determined to replace any containers and logbooks where there was a dire need - This is not usually our habit and is quite time consuming; but we are enthusiastic cachers and believe in doing our bit for the wider caching community...
Surprisingly, we were able to prepare for this multi prior to our visit. Our final coordinates looked fine on the geomap, and we were optimistic about this one... A sudden downpour added an extra element of difficulty, but the cache was right where we calculated. Thanks buttels and TFTC.

Such a lonely spot for a flag pole does it get a flag at ANZAC day i wonder? the info was gathered prior to the visit, and the cache quickly located.
we were out and about in this area so we were locating a few of the nearby caches. this was a very quick park, solve and grab which was good after spending alot of time at bogle bro cache and ending up with a did not find .
thank you for this straight forward cache and another smiley face.

We set out today on an expedition to Skindoland, aiming to complete the Pursuing the Planets Challenge (we were already well on the way to the final destination), to complete the 250 Finds in March Challenge, and to complete the 52 on 52 trail of caches.
Haydn.seek joined us and we had a very successful day - being able to claim between us all the caches aimed for, bar one. We left Palmerston North at 7am and returned just after 5pm.
We headed to Waipukurau first and it was an eventful journey. First we saw two motor bikes and their riders skid out and crash land on the Saddle Road - we offered assistance but fellow riders also stopped and were calling emergency services and staying with their injured friends, so we went on, feeling a bit shaken ourselves. Nearing Norsewood we were nearly blinded by the rising sun in places until part way across the Takapau Plains where we went into quite a thick fog - this was a blessing as it cut out the brightness of the sun but wasn't that thick that it made driving too difficult. Things steadily improved as we headed out from Waipukurau on Route 52 and the day became beautifully fine, albeit a little windy at times. There were many lovely views to enjoy, including lots of poplars turning gold. From about Wimbledon we noticed some grey clouds starting to spread. We left Route 52 at Weber and by the time we were back up the Saddle Road we encountered some heavy squalls, but all our caching was done, so no bad weather to be getting out in.
We deviated from Route 52 temporarily to pop across to Hatuma's Memorial. Mrs G had solved this multi online and we were able to pull up by the final. Our GPSrs put us out by several metres, but geo-sense quickly located the cache. TFTC

Today we are visiting some of the out of the way caches (ones off the beaten track) and this was another one.
Arrived at the designated area gathered the required information then off to sign the log.
Thanks for the smiley and the placement of this cache and last but not least for bringing us here.

luštění bylo rychlé a hledání taky, ale máš špatně uvedený výpočet finálky - určitě nemá být 40°

Was very amusing to discover this one was right by where we were staying..tftc
We had done the calculations in advance fortunately, and the cache was a quick easy find in the rain. TFTC
Nice quick multi to work out, and didn't take long to spot the cache, thanks for the placement add tb. At least at this stage it hadn't started raining
Heading to a work event in Napier we had just enough time to pop down this road and sort this one out. We are very close to claiming a badge for finding multi's so this one helped. The weather was find and the ground looked dry so we drove right to the plaque and quickly worked the answers. A great clue meant it was really a park and grab and had the business end done in no time at all. TFTC
#2327. I have been up at a conference in Napier over Queens Birthday weekend. Heading back south to Wellington and picking up a few targeted caches on the way. Travelling with three work colleagues, one of whom has never geocached before. Heading south off the main highway to pick up a few more caches to add to a lonely cache challenge. A quick check of the instructions and I saw this multi would be a quick one to solve. So we stopped by the memorial and gathered the relevant information. Plugged in the coordinates and headed off to the GZ nearby. Only to see one of my keen helpers already had the cache in hand! Signed the dry log and replaced the cache as found. Thanks for hiding it here.
Nice to come back & collect the smiley after missing out at the beginning of the year. TFTC. Love the countryside.
Nice little detour off the main road. On our trail to Hastings we managed 167 caches for the day. Most were a blur but some were very clever. Thanks for the cache.
Respect to all the names on this monument. Found after correcting the obvious error, wanted send us 100km away. TFTC
After the two DNFs I called in to check the cache, only to confirm it had gone. Its back in place now, with a bit of tape around it. Hopefully in survives a bit longer.....
No luck here today. Got the required info and made our way to GZ. Unfortunately couldnt find the cache!
I don't think I had any trouble with the questions and came up with coordinates close to two hint objects. I searched both without success. There seemed to be evidence of others being here recently so I had to wonder if some DNFs have not been logged.
A slightly different type of memorial to those of these I'm accustomed to but fitting for the location. Found the cache close to one of two hint items so decided to leave it as I found. TFTC, #5662
My aim for the weekend was to explore Hawke's Bay - grabaseat airfare from Christchurch, rental car & the world was my (geocaching) oyster!
Detoured from my plan to find this cache - a 2nd by the same C.O. for a Challenge.
Then detoured from my detour, got thoroughly lost & had a great time exploring! TFTC.

An interesting memorial plaque in the middle of nowhere, cache had blown away from its hide, returned as per the hint, thanks for the multi and cache.

Nice place good cache. Not too easy , not too hard. Grandson Jack found it- I think we have a convert!
nice and easy thanks for the drive out here I always like this area very pretty and relaxed
The quickest multi I've ever done. We were greeted to a spectacular sunset as the sun was perfectly behind a distinctive hill leaving rays of light to cascade from behind - least not forget that either.
