Hi there Crisp image.

We are leaving the Latrobe Valley tomorrow, so our caching run today concentrated on trading as many travel bugs as we could. We managed to log 8, which we will distribute somewhere in SA or WA.

All up we found 5 caches & DNF'd 0 in this cache run. Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places while we meander our way around Australia.

**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking. Wink
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Nothing.

Regards

Ian & Penny.

Nice spot for a cache - I was able to sort this one out while I popped into the servo but next time I'll have to trust the co-ords and not assume the location of the cache by first sight... TFTC!

27-Oct-18
This was to be a find of opportunity. We (n0w0rries, ahomburg and myself) had stopped at the servo to use the facilities. Whilst doing so I alerted my companions to the proximate multi. It seems they were already on the case as I shortly received confirmation of the cache in hand and names in logbook.
Thanks to Crisp image for placing a conveniently located multi for travellers east-bound from Melbourne.

Find #9845

After a late one last night (2am) and finding the Smokey Bear Trap, I had planned to meet leafotwind & N0w0rries on the M1 and we headed off in 1 car towards a cache a long way away. A stop off here for some fuel, we stretched the legs a bit by completing this Multi. N0w0rries had found it already but came along for the walk. A quick 1 offset Multi and we were soon at GZ signing the log sheet.

Many thanks to Crisp image for the cache. TNLN.

Such a huge amount of community spirit and service.
Adding our small part by spreading some love to this simple yet effective treasure.
A quick stop with +Wife and our Geomutts, EveTheStaffy and MaxTheCollie as we join the dots along the way to Buchan for a friend's birthday party.
Thank you for placing this cache for all of us to find, Crisp Image.

26-Feb-18
This cache took me approx 50 minutes to complete.. That was because as I just finished the quick calculations a car pulled over which turned out to be a now retired colleague who is also into caching, the catch up was great and wouldn't have happened were it not for stopping at this cache.

Thanks for this fun little multi cache Smile

23-Feb-18
A quick find in the obvious spot at gz. Tftc

20-Feb-18
Found this one quickly before work. Fittingly as I was hiding behind a conveniently placed sign working out the answers 3 fire trucks went past on their way to a job. Thank you to our emergency services and thank you for the cache Smile

27-Jan-18
Is it possible to check GZ for a placement here, as we found what appears to be what was used to hold the cache in place, but there isn't actually a cache here that we could find. There has been recent works at GZ which may account for the missing cache.

27-Jan-18
This geocacher reported that there is a problem with this cache.

27-Jan-18
Checked on this cache on my way to work this evening and can confirm it is missing. Will work on a replacement soon.
Thanks for the message

In Traralgon for a first aid course today so at lunch time I filled in the time by looking for this cache, time well spent. Got the facts then made my way to GZ and after a bit of a look around found the cache, signed the log then back to the course for me. TFTC

13-Mar-17
Well I managed to make that a whole lot harder than it needed to be!! A simple counting error meant that I had the wrong GZ. When I realised I was headed towards a golf course (complete with golfers teeing off) I went back to the car and back to the sign to. doublecheck and I couldn't believe the mistake I had made.
Quick recalculations and a short walk across the road followed by a very easy find of a well hidden cache. Thanks for highlighting the community services-I'm a member of 2nd Springvale scouts

Without wanting to give too much away, the spot where I calculated the cache to be is now the sight of some major road-making! Surprised I couldn't get close enough to be sure if the cache ws safe, but it may be best to take it off line for now.

05-Jan-16
Sitting on 99 caches we just had to head off for one more, with this one the unfound cache closest to home. Solved coords quickly and found the clever hide. Thanks for the cache!

Quickly parked and grabbed a multi. Love the cache hiding spot. Big Grin

15-Jun-15
I found this as part of a daily streak I am working on. I have previously been in the SES, and many friends of mine are CFA Wallan and CFA Sale. I enjoy the challenge of the hunt - read the notes, decipher the cache requirements, and go searching. My new GPS is working great and it has really improved my geocaching experience. This cache was another "Found it" for me. I particularly like the actual cache hide. Thanks go to Crisp image for placing it and maintaining it. TFTC! Cheers. Jump Pilot Cool

This multi was a great way to highlight the contribution that so many members of the community make. With the clues gathered it was on to the nearby GZ. All deserted today on this early morning and a quick find of a nicely placed little hide.
Thanks to Crisp image for placing this cache.

TFTC!!! My first ever multi, some sign clues we had to guess the answers as wasn't sure exactly what was or wasn't a service but got there in the end Very Happy

On the way back to Sale, stopped off for a quick rest and completed the multi in record time

Another Christmas Day find! TFTC!

29-Nov-14
After doing the fireworks for the Traralgon show last night we decided to spend the night and clean up a few of the local caches and then head home via a road that we don't travel to often. This was the first for the day, we collected the required information easily and worked out a set of co-ords for gz. Once there with not many places to look the well hidden cache was discovered and our name has now been added to the log.
Thanks Crisp Image for the cache, this town certainly is well serviced.

24-Aug-14
Another cache that we have been planning to grab for ages. An easy find with a somehow familiar hiding method. We have both been involved from way back. Ladybug was a Queen Guide and I was in the Scouts - excellent character building organisations. We rely so much on many of these groups nowadays and they deserve our full support and appreciation. TNLN Thanks Crisp image

Found with highrod on the way to Bairnsdale for the weekend. A very good hide. We are very indebted to all volunteers in the community and thanks for highlighting that with this cache. I volunteeer at an aged care facility. TFTC

The cache is in good shape.
Thanks Crisp image for the cache!

19-Jun-14
This one was completed in two stints by Kato Potato and I; a reconnaissance photo first texted from one to another then a return to hunt down the cache. Very similar to another we've found around town and very clever at that. TFTC Crisp image! Glad to see that the CWA are represented on the sign; that's my little Wednesday service club Smile

A quick multi, I have been past a few times in last few days, finally stopped here today...
My service is not represented on here, that maybe cos I am from the SAMFS in SA helping wth the fire at Hazelwood.
Also used to be in the CFS in SA for a number of years too.
Nice hide

Great TV Show from back in the day when you could use innuendo without being accused of being politically incorrect ! Serving in NSW Rural Fire Service & Defence Force. SL TFTC

31-Dec-13
We are being served and serving, as a Scout Leader. But thankfully we're not yet having to be served by the adjacent funeral services...... TFTC!

16-Dec-13
Found by Mary & David at 1555. We remember the TV series well. We did hear at the last Event about some of your voluntary services. With RAAF careers, we each qualify for the RSL membership. Mary has just retired, and imagines that she might be able to do some volunteer work once all her surgical repairs are over. She still finds she can give lots of mental and physical advice based on her long nursing career. Our thanks to Crisp image.

29-May-13
Had to take my mums new benz in for its first service so I dropped it off at Mercedes and walked to 4 caches and this one was the forth. The co-ords where spot on as I found in the first place I looked. sl .Thanks Crisp Image for the cache and donating your time at the SES.

17-May-13
I enjoyed this little multi because it worked :-0 So many are written up just to be complicated for no reason really. A neat way to give recognition to the people who give their time to helping the community.
Thanks Crisp image for the hide.

12-Feb-13
This was a straight forward offset cache, which didn't take too long to complete. We'd just jumped back into the trusty cache mobile when we got a darn good looking at by one of the funeral parlour people. Surely we didn't look too suspicious. Thanks for the cache Crispy

Trying to catch up finds from months ago, apologies for the belated log.

9th found in the company of Coley_Babee.
Caching today to attend the local event plus some other caches if time permits.
On the way out of town, we doubled back to do the quick calcs to find this one.

Thanks again Crisp image for this cache.

26-Jan-13
We parked just off the road and grabbed the information necessary, we then decided to leave the car there and walk up to GZ!!

We were guessing where the hide would be on the walk up, getting it wrong each time, finally at GZ a short search revealled the hide!!

Enjoyable multi and clever hide. We have many special memories of many enjoyable years of voluntary service to the community of Mirboo North where we raised our children. We can also say that it feels very strange not to be involved in those community services since moving from the town. Hence the reason why we have started geo caching and gaining our weekends back. I don't think it leaves the system though, and at times like the recent fires it certainly reminds us all of the wonderful service so many local volunteers do. SL Thanks for the cache Crisp Image

18-Jan-13
being a volunteer who could resist this multi .. 74 is a current volunteer for Lifeline Morwell, 74 also volunteered a years full time hours to the Australian Red Cross - New and re-cycled clothing store as the store-manager (the only op'y that doesn't pay it's managers, left for paid work) even managing to sneak into the local paper twice !! 74 also volunteered in the past for Commercial Rd. Primary School as a walking school bus supervisor, 'Mr.Skipair' may recall this it was post geo-caching too, before I knew geo-caching existed, sneaky Mr.Skipair !!! 74 has always enjoyed volunteering -

97 was a girl guide for 3 years and is on her forth year as a RAAF cadet.

the multi wasn't very hard although the last question had me thinking... I guessed the multi would end up near or on the green thing not to far away, I wasn't too far off, I also didn't spot the retrieval connection until after I retrieved cache.. lol..

Thanks for this new multi-cache and the dedication that I'm sure all volunteers would enjoy ..

15-Jan-13
Found it when I was back in the Valley today.
I gathered all the required information did the sums and head off in the wrong direction.....! Checked the answer to what I had in the GPSr, I had them around the wrong way. I soon corrected the mistake and off I went to GZ. I soon located the cache and signed the log.

I was with the Scouts in the early years, I mainly served in Army Reserves (Not Listed)
