What do you call a castrated deer with only one eye? No fn idea! Well you asked for it! Lots of trees fitted this hint. Luckily I saw something bright green lying on the ground.
Fun little find in a funky spot, and proof of my pen dying just as I tried to sign it
Realised we had forgotten to log some caches last week so apologies for the late log. Decided to do a small loop walk before lunch and collect the caches. Parked up nearby made our way over to the GZ looked around for the hint item and didnt take long before we made the find. Pleased to get this one as we noticed the last person had logged a DNF.
Found a few twisty trees, but then spotted the cache. Replaced paper, happy to earn a smile
Thanks for the hide

Quick and easy find for the kids. Unfortunately the log was completely soaked and I couldn’t write on it.
Down and dirty? I think not so I sent RuthHide ahead while I carefully picked my way to the spot where she had already found it. I arrived in great nick with clean shoes and nothing being pulled on my precious jersey....I didn't set out to geocache, okay!? I was able to assist her to exit the bush more elegantly than she entered holding the branches kindly out of the way.
Previous finders said they had to get down and dirty, but it wasn’t too bad. Just a slight detour into the bush and we soon had the cache in hand. Tftc

Well, this was a blast from the past. Saw the CO name and said "we must do this one". Didn't see Doug but located the cache. Hope all is well in the Geomatt123 household. TFTC

Enjoyed a nice stroll through this greenspace in the middle of an industrial area, on route to arriving at GZ With 2 recent DNFs, my confidence dipped, but my determination and spirit heavily increased in hope of confirming the cache is actually here Had to get down and dirty for this one, as it was quite a bush-bash to get my hands safely on the cache. There were quite a number of likely hiding locations, but only one place caught my attention. A brief searched turned up nothing, but after coming back a short while later, I under turned all the leaf litter as I was sure the cache had to be here! It turned out I was right, and I was very pleased to add my name to the logbook ; ) TFTC Geomatt123!
#Road to 1K finds
Seeing I was sitting on 979 cache finds this afternoon, I set out on a big caching trip on my bike around Rosedale and Unsworth Heights where I ended up collecting 21 total finds including 19 trads and 2 mystery's...Some really neat caches up this way and so, so happy I could achieve my 1000th find at GC5CQMJ. Thanks to all CO's for their lovely hides!

Had a decent look but no find. Wouldn't be surprised if it's still here though as there were plenty of places it could have been. Oh well, I'll be back
Got down and dirty for this find but all good at GZ, thanks Geomatt123.
A change of plan for today as what was intended to be a East Coast raid up around Puhoi and above was changed when mrs c's plan to spend a week in Taihape was suddenly our daughter and granddaughter coming to spend a week with us and rocking up at the door at 0900!
So, a gentle morning of not much before a drive out Orewa way for a walk along the front and lunch at a nice eatery. On the way back we came off the Northern at Oteha Valley and came back a different way.

Part of my attempt to catch up with my logging backlog.
In Auckland for a work trip. Decided to take a walk back to my motel and take in a few caches along the way, starting with this one. Fortunately, off to a good start with a quick, easy find, thanks to the hint. TFTC.

Second find in Rosedale for the night - found a few places that fit the hint, but after not too much rummaging the cache came jumping out at us. TFTC!
Picked up few caches in South Albany before Event organized by G2. This one was one of them. GPS bang on. TFTC
Out in the area performing some cache maintenance with my nephew. This one took a bit to spot and it was a relief to finally locate the cache.
Find number 4708. I had come to the area with my son as he had an interview for a job. We had an hour to kill so I grabbed a couple of caches. As he was dressed for his interview I ventured into the bush by myself. Missed the hide but then I spied a bit of colour. Pleased to have made the find. Thank you for the placement.

Quick find among the trees here. Now off to the coffee shop across the road for a well deserved hot drink.
Was in the area this morning grabbing a couple of caches and so came here. Love the camo but still a nice quick find. TFTC
Popped out to continue the daily streak and this was a surprising easy and quick find in amongst the trees, alot of bugs making themselves at home but I was quick. Thank you
We are here learning more about Geocaching with our Girl Guide leader today. We have been having a great time finding all sorts of different caches and we have been to lots of places we have never seen before. This was a cool little hide. thanks
Caching the North Shore today with a couple of my Girl Guides along for the adventure . . . . . . neat little hide -signed, Replaced and on our way. I did replace the log sheet at this one. TFTC
Found when out and about with SethRaven and RileyTheBest101. Had a neat geocaching adventure. TFTC
Had a pickup to do in the area so collected this and had a coffee as a bonus. tftc
I walked over after finding a few other caches. I got really lucky and found it in the first place I looked. Now for a joke:

A nice quick find, the log is full but managed to squeeze my name on, I didn't have my cache bag with me so couldn't replace the log,
#239. A coffee, panini, and scone in a local cafe was a nice way to start the morning. And finding a cache was a nice way to finish it. The coordinates were spot on and the hint made for an even quicker find. Signed the log but it's really full now. A joke, you say? Okay... "What do you call a man with cat scratches?" "Claude". TFTC.
What do you call a man with leaves in his pockets? Russell. Quick find with evlino9. TFTC
Last one of the day here for LikeTips and I and a nice and straightforward one to finish up one. The only disappointing part was realising we were about 5 minutes too late to grab a coffee before heading back.

After finishing some work related activities nearby, I had some time to go and find a few caches before I had to head to the airport and home. This cache took a bit of a search before I located the correct hint object. Then it was quickly found. TFTC, Biggles.
Out for a Saturday afternoon caching adventure to clean up a few more on the north Shore. Tftc.
This one's been on our radar for a while, and this morning it made its way to the top of the list. Quick find for my little girl and I on our way to her swimming lesson. Nice cammo, thanks!
1.10pm - Bit of a search for the right tree. Co Ords pretty good to a well hidden cache. SLTFTC
Gps had me all over the place. 6m this way then 6m that way. In the end had to use the hint.
Nice little bit of camo.
Nice little bit of camo.
Nice hide, slipped in here just before it got dark, so area reasonably quiet now. TFTC
Out with my dad this way and thought to tick this one off on our way out. Made our way to the coordinates and made the find after little search.

Been working in Albany and also working on a 50 day streak.
This was just around the corner from where I was working so took the opportunity to attempt this one mid afternoon heading back to the office.
I needed my "cloak of invisibility" for this one as the café was bustling with customers. I am sure that it worked as I have NEVER been questioned in my Hi Viz by ANYONE!
Soon saw something that didn't just look quiet right and yay there was the cache, a sneaky little hide which gets a favourite from me.
TFTC!
Day 27 streak continues!!!! YAY!

I was in the area and had some spare time. So what else was there to do but find some geocaches.
Ha ha ...been wanting to do this for a while cos of it's funny name , but always too dark when I went to nearby GC Events . Cool twisty tree alright !
Thanks for good hide !

#318 Out this way for a client meeting today. After meeting I decided to grab a few caches in area. Still in office camo so had to pretend I was making a phone call while hunting. Narrowed down likely location and quickly got to GZ to find cache. Nice Camo.

Having logged a DNF on a another cache we thought this would lift our spirits. It was a bit gnarly getting to it but once through a quick find. Good camo. TFTC.
With some time to kill, I thought why not? So off I went to get this one. Having nearly ended up in the pond (completely unnecessarily it turns out), I found the unlikely looking object and cache was soon signed and sealed. I am sure the muggles who had just parked their car got a bit of a shock when a fat dude was suddenly there. TFTC!
Parked up, made the short walk to GZ and spent an age searching around the wrong tree. Finally, i decided that the cache wasn't here so headed a few meters away and found it instantly, TFTC!

Out and about this afternoon caching on the Shore. With rush hour beginning I simply went in the opposite direction to any ques. That quickly brought me past here. The GPSr took me close to GZ, but pointed across the water...so off I trekked, only to me sent straight back to the correct side. Once actually at GZ cache was a super quick find. Cheers for the cache placement!
What do you call a couple of old cachers, having to make a daily find on a yuk night... nit wits, idiots, but careful looking and moving around with a torch, we were absolutely relieved to find it. As this wasn't the cache of choice tonight, but needs must. Great camo by the way. SL. TFTC.
After seeing the park on the west side cordoned off due 'upgrades' to the Stormwater Pond, I was glad to get this find. Absolutely love the camo!
Great find - interesting camo. TFTC

Why did the turkey cross the road?

In the area to collect some printer supplies. This cache was nearby and went straight to it. Spot-on coordinates.

Nice camo after searching 4 or 5 trees went back to first thought and finally saw it. Tftc
Quick find on the way home from movies in Albany. Couldnt resist rolling down the hill. Joke for you...have you seen the constipation movie yet? Neither have we...it hasnt come out yet!.
Sincere apologies for the very late log. Found on my NZ MEGA (Auckland 2013) trip with mtbikeroz, my Dad. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time travelling around Auckland and the North Island, going on some great walks and adventures and finding some great caches. Apologies again - if you have any queries or questions, please contact mtbikeroz direct via his profile. (all our finds are on the same date) Thanks.
Day 4 of my trip to Auckland for the Mega event. Today was to be more about attending the Mega events and caching around Albany.
It was starting to get a bit late so it was time to start heading back. I got a park close by and wandered over to GZ for a look. I spotted the cache quite quickly. All is good.
