Ooops, we did not know it's archived. It still found its way into our pocket query. Since it is still in place and we found and logged it, we will list it as found.
Thanks for the (archived) cache!

Time for this one to go to god. This was my first hide but I have become more educated in the ways of the cache and this one isnt an exemplar. Time to retire Very Happy Thanks to all who found this cache.

Today we wanted to complete the BRST trail, then continue into town & found a few caches around Lake Wendouree.
The weather was mild with a strong breeze into our face.
Took a while to spot it.
Thanks for placing this cache Fergzter

The parking coordinates were a great help in identifying the best wat to get access to the cache. We searched for a number of minutes before we found a well hidden cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache Fergzter.

I wasn't sure which side of the fence I should be, but a previous log helped with that. After eliminating some of the more obvious items I looked at the less obvious and managed to spot the hide. I find these ones very difficulat at times so was glad that it didn't lake longer.

08-Jan-14
Straight to GZ and went past it. Got too close to fence and some guy in business next door yells out when he sees my shoes under the fence. So I back off and then rethink the plan. Meanwhile I spot the camo, doh! N1 again Fergzter, TFTC.

The hint threw me off for a few minutes and had me looking for an entirely different kind of cache in a different spot. However, the find was soon made and the log signed. Thanks for the cache Fergzter.

Out and about with goedaughter, it took longer than it should to find this one ,looking in the wrong place.

GeoIndy was most surprised when we went out the driveway for our nightly walk and turned right not left. She was very happy to have different smells to sniff on the way to this cache but wasn't very obliging at GZ, tying both me & her up in her lead!
Have spent many hours at this venue as No 1 Son was a Joey, Cub & Scout here.
Am hoping to see some Scout caches with room for Scout swaps as I am always keen on de-cluttering Smile

27-Jul-13
decided to grab a few caches in town after doing the BSRT run.
We started out on this run at 8am, Oh the wind is lashing lustily
and the trees are thrashing thrustily, and the leaves are rustling gustily,
So its rather safe to say that it seems it may turn out to be, it feels that it undoubtedly,
it looks like a rather blustery day, today.

we did all these caches on foot... head wind all the way, doubling back to get the car every few kms.

exhausting days work. Managed to get 55 caches done before dark.

thanks to the CO's for this cache run

While at the scout hall standing by the fire I just had to go and have a look for this one. As I got close to the GZ my gps died so with the general area in mind the search was on. After a long search the cache was found so it was time to go back to the fire and warm up a bit. TFTC.

Found by Mary & David at 1545. Quite a large property for the Scouts. The cache took longer to find than it should, mainly because we misinterpreted the hint. Getting too cold for our ageing bones! We were interested in the meaning of "Wendouree". Our thanks to Fergzter.

21-May-13
Dropped by before Scouts tonight to do some maintenance on this cache. Log book was 80% full so I replaced it for some preventative maintenance. So now its good to go for another 50 visitors Smile

a very good and quick find

21-Apr-13
Well, I couldn't have been on the wrong side of the fence twice, and my GPS was pointing to the other side no matter what side I was on! Thank goodness for the huge hole in the wire fence so it was easy for me to move from one side to the other, but I had to give up before I looked like a complete fool... oops, too late [:o)]

15-Apr-13
We parked and walked over to the spot. A few minutes later, we spotted the camo cache. Thanks for bringing us here.

We had seen this new cache pop up the week before and waited until we got a chance to have some time spare in Wendouree before finding it.
After a short search at GZ we found the well hidden cache. It is amazing how these type of hides can blend in untill you are staring at it!
Thanks for your first hide Fergzter and we hope the scouts get to do a few Geocaches to earn their badges!

22-Jan-13
Found with Dad.
I was trying hard to see this one but Dad found it in the end.
I'm sure i would like scouts when i am older.
Thanks Fergzter for your first cache hide.

This cache was found as part of a TDC cache run on the day/night of 21-22 Jan 2010. I felt a little weird searching here at night, but luckily the cache was soon loacted and we were off again. Thanks.

Run Summary
----------------------
The Demolition Crew had been preparing this cache run for two weeks after our last cache run in the Ballarat area only a few weeks ago had left a number of caches behind, and the caching community had placed a number of new caches in the area; so it was timely that we return to finish what we had started.

Rebel Acts (Eric) was creeping up to his 8,000 find, so it was going to be a celebration of big numbers and caching in great company. It wasn't long before the 8,000 mark was hit with a FTF on a cache called "A Local Family's History" in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. At this point we headed west through Melton, Bacchus Marsh, Enfield and then into Ballarat proper. Clearly the highlight of the night was Eric reaching the 8,000th cache, but the three Earthcaches and another D/T crossed off the list were also personal highlights for me. Thanks to all the CO's who have put the effort in placing and maintaining their caches.

Found in the company of Quasar3671,Trailrunning and Blacklegend (aka The Demolition Crew) on another Ballarat caching run, we still had a few to do in town since our last visit and a few new ones had popped up. A great night was had by all with lots of laughs and good times, we celebrated my 8000th find. The nice hide was soon located. My thanks to Fergzter for the cache.

21-Jan-13
The Demolition Crew were together again for another legendary caching run, and again, out to Ballarat area after starting in Melbourne. About 65 finds for the night in the company of Quasar3671, TrailRunning and Rebel Acts. Another fun filled night, plenty of great caches, and a night where Rebel passed 8000 finds, fantastic. My thanks to all the CO's for their cache placements.

Found pretty quick, but as TR said, felt a bit weird with torches, etc at night. Not a criticism at all, seeing the night aspect is our choice....! TFTC, a little tricky.

21-Jan-13
Myself, Rebel Acts, Trailrunning and Blacklegend (aka The Demolition Crew) planned another Ballarat cache run for tonight as we still had quite a few to find since our last run and some news ones had also been published since then too. Ballarat Smackdown III was soon devised with the route planned and the cache list ready to go.

It was another perfect day and night for caching and there was a definite feeling of deja vu. We started the run around the northern suburbs of Melbourne, picking up a FTF along the way, before heading west through Melton, Bacchus Marsh, the Enfield State Forest (which I personally love driving through) and into Ballarat city itself. During the run Rebel Acts also found his 8000th cache which was a highlight for the night. A big thanks to the CO's for spending the time and effort in placing the caches we found.

A quick find here and we were soon moving on. Thanks.

21-Jan-13
After a late start and wandering through some forest country it was time to head into the city and grab a few that had been started but not finished and some others that I had to pass.
Well the ageing Bushfire stuffed this one up as the GPS bought me to tulip Street but thinking it would be the other side of the fence I found my way in there and searched to no avail.
OK back to Tulip St and off to GZ and it still took a while to spot this guy as it was not what I was expecting.
Thanks to Fergzter for placing this cache.

19-Jan-13
Needed to use the hint for this one. I guessed what it meant and was wrong. Twice! Spotted in the end though. Was a but worried that the houses over the road might wonder what I was up too, but did see any activity.

Thanks for bringing me here.

17-Jan-13
My SIL's first cache. TFTC mate!

16-Jan-13
Found this one pretty quickly today with bogonghazy enroute to pick up a few 4WD caches. Cars were at the houses opposite, and it's hard to know if they are not looking out their windows behind the curtains. Thanks to Fergzter for the cache.

16-Jan-13
A quick find with and by Sully1 before heading bush for a few different challenges.
A quiet out of the way spot, and a hide that's not easily spotted by those not in the game.
Thanks Fergzter for this one

15-Jan-13
First cache found this morning on a caching spree across Ballarat with Shamus1. A tricky hide but after the long process of elimination the log was found and signed.
Thanks Fergzter

Shared FTF with ST37E Smile !!!
Wasn't the warmest Summer night, but when has that come close to stopping us trying for the FTF!
Was a relief to find the tiny cache after looking all around, tangling every pokey branch in my hair and disturbing many spiders by shining a big bright light in their faces!

Good camo'd hide.
