We are using Mary MacKillop caches to guide us to Adelaide today, from Mt Gambier.
This was the first at an early morning break in our journey.
Thanks for another one honouring this amazing woman.
The cache log is very damp, may I suggest you use the new rock paper next time

Found... eventually on a warm sunny afternoon. Searched behind the obvious, ended with a PAF and found deep within and thought there might be a church nearby. With cabbos after attending the recent event at Penola and now taking a different route home.

Suscoe was enjoying a few days at Mount Gambier and surrounds this week leading up to Easter.
We experienced a strange but familiar pattern of weather with a storm last weekend, with hail, rain and strong winds and towards the end of the week we had calm and sunny days. Just like home.
Anyway, we enjoyed the caching, so many different locations and interesting hides.
Well done to all the cachers for the work done in creating and hiding their caches for us to find.
It was a stinker of a day, cold cold winds, rain and hail. Sunday was not the day to be out in the open for too long.
Thanks to the Travelling Sister for this cache, we left a temporary log at this location, hope that isn't a problem, thought we could help keeping this one going until the Travelling Sister travelled back this way.

No where to be seen. We checked a number of trees out to 10m.
So placed a temporary cache in tree at the listed coords.
We love Mary Mac cache...

Having driven from Adelaide to stay at Nangwarry for the night, we found ourselves waiting for vk7hch and Chris Mc.
I decided to look and see if there was a cache nearby as we had about 30 minutes to wait. And this cache was it.
A quick look around in the dark and I finally located the cache just sitting there - not much camo.
Signed and replaced a little better.
Thanks for the cache!

A nice easy find on my way home from Mount Gambier to Adelaide.
The log is getting full, but there are plenty of spots in random places earlier in the logbook. Sorry I didn't have a suitable replacement with me.
Cache was very visible so I put some further camo on it (bark and sticks which have also helped to gently wedge/keep it in its hiding spot).

Beware of muggles.. Nice easy find.. Needs new log book as it is full.. Dance Laugh Sparkle - Big smiles
Another trip, another cache.....Mr Kookacrew saw the cache before we got anywhere near it, signed the log and went on our way after tucking the cache away a bit more hidden.
Looked weird to see the former church with washing hanging out the side, what a quiet lil town this one is, not sure what the population is but it wouldn't be too many.
Thanks for another in the Mary Mac series Travelling Sister, TNLNSL
NOTE No TB

Found after doing a loop Millicent - mt gambier - nangwarry - Millicent. The little monkey found her caching mojo and raced off in her thongs to find the cache first. She succeeded and we continued being amazed by all the forests and logging "stuff". Loved the windows of the nearby shops !! Thanks for the hide
Started heading off in the wrong direction but was soon directed correctly for an easy find on my way back home from the South East. TFTC Travelling Sister
Nice quick find on a Sunday arvo...nearly got busted by people taking a stroll
Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. It would appear that the nearby school is now vacant - a pity but a sign of the times. Thanks for the cache Travelling Sister.
Quick find on the way home from the Moorex off-road buggy race.
Super easy find... muggle free!

Another memory invoking cache. This lady was certainly a doer of wonderful things.
Care is needed at GZ as you could get into a thorny situation here if you are not careful. We ended up with a nasty scratch from GZ as we collected the cache container. The TB listed is not in the cache. SL TFTC

Another Mary MacKillop cache! We had no idea of who she was before starting our trip around Australia but now every time we see a sign about her we always think about the traveling sister and her caches so we check and surprise surprise there's always a cache there! We are loving SA with its beautiful hills (mountains?), green grass and sheeps. Someone could think that it's nothing special or uncommon but after weeks spent in the north, with the desert as background and spinifex everywhere this is very welcome to us and remember us a bit of home. Well, more than every other place we saw in Australia so far. So thanks for this cache

Heading out to the Mount for a week and picked up a few caches along the the way.
If it has Mary MacKillop's name on it we have to stop to add it to our collection of MacKillop caches. TFTC.
