Thanks to more than 252 people who found this cache over the years including many of the local scouts.
I understand the oval will be used for the construction of north east link soon so I will archive this cache and reflect on the excitement it created for many.
I’ll potentially hide a new cache in the future around the scout hall once the construction work in the area has completed. Alternatively another geocacher might come up with something new and fun to hide in the area.
Thanks everyone.
P.S If you have lost your phone check out nearby Binnak Park

The log is very manky and is unsignable. So I resorted to a photo. This chap needs some love and attention.
I just watched a family try to find this cache, saw their log and thought I would check on it. I was able to locate the main part of the cache, and after a little more searching I found the second but smaller part. Unfortunatly the container itself was no where to be found. I have left both parts of the cache at the base of the tree in case the CO would like to reuse it.
Hi Geocachers, I’ll check out the damage and make some improvements right after I’m finished with my self Isolation.
Not a tricky find once you get to the middle of things
Great cache, really clever

Very clever hide was confused for a while as I found another small log but could not work out how to sign it. Found proper log after some more searching TFTC
Need to find 35 caches to access the lock to the vault - Mystery at the Museum. Found your cache today. Haw0006, thank you so much for placing it.
Accompanied with crank1 for caching day. Found it. Good one. Thanks for placing the cache
Thanks Haw0006 quick find with Jimmytherat on a bitterly cold day. Made easier by no footy. Could do with some maintenance.
Out and about with TrailStevo last night, managed around 10km and managed to make a dog shape on my strava map, by accident! We found double figures of cache and spotted a few roos, possums and my favourite Tawnyfrog Mouths. Thanks to all the CO's for the fun. This one took us longer than it should have.
More night caching with Gunks. Almost 10kms of walking to pick a bunch up. Managed to find most including this one. TFTC

The girls were straight on this one as I was on the phone being a PAF.
Cheers Haw0006

One of my caching buddies noticed this clever hide from the car window today. Lucky for us, it made for a quick find! Thanks so much for placing this cache Haw0006
Saw no sign of a lid today, but hadn’t read the description properly and wasn’t looking for one. The other parts were found quickly today. Thanks haw0006
We think it’s been muggled, but easily repackaged and replaced. We love clever caches like this
This was a fun find. Cleverly camouflaged. The lid was off so has been reattached.
I went out hunting with the dog today, and this is one of the caches we found. tftc.
**Find #2212**
Scouting around tonight and at 10pm I drove right to GZ. Got out of the Geo-mobile and what the heck a muggle appears from the darkness and walks right past. Luckily he kept going. A nice quick find. Gave the log a new zippy bag. I enjoyed my days as a scout, many, many Years ago.
Thanks **Haw0006**

Greytiger and I liked the idea of this cache. The cache appears to have part of it missing and the exposed plastic bag containing the log made it easy to spot. TFTC.
A very easy find due to something missing, the bag containing the log was easy to spot, a little TLC is all that is required. amaali and I enjoyed the find anyway.

Very cool, unfortunately it wasn’t in a great condition. Cap appears to be missing so stood out way more than it should have. Still giving it a fav, not your fault someone inconsiderate has ruined it for others. I hope you get this one fixed up. I replaced it best I could.

I have scoured around here before, but that time the cache was MIA. Today I found it!
Leaving buddy Jeckleberryandtedd on the other side of the reserve with our three geokids, I scampered around until I spotted the prize. TFTC

Went for a walk this morning and found a few caches. The lid of this cache is missing so put the bag back in tight so it wouldn't fall out. TFTC
Visiting a local caching best mate and after the second to find, got this one after stepping in a poo mine! All good here. Cheers.
Had time to call into this one on the way home.
Found the camo but no container, just a ziplock bag with a logbook in it.
Signed the log and replaced as found.
Nice and quiet here at the moment, i guess it would get busy here on the weekend.
Thanks Haw0006 TFTC.

It was a little tricky as there were footy kids running around but we were in ninja mode at dusk.
It was a clever cache, the weather has made it worn but we still could write our name on the very skinny piece of paper.
Well done Bails (age 6 for the find)
Thanks

Was attempting this one solo after dropping the kids at school but there’s workmen, might have to come back with the kids and use them as my camouflage.
With the tradies gone almost straight after I did a “write note” it was a quick Cache. Unfortunately this one is looking a bit sad and sorry for itself.
NEEDS MAINTENANCE
I was able to sign log but this could do with some attention.

Brilliant one and was very hard to find in the hairy bush.
Me and Ash found it for 5-10mins searching it.

Out for a beautiful Sunday afternoon we decided to go find some caches, a nice easy find TFTC
Happy to find this one almost instantly this time round.
Unsure why we didn't see it last time.
TFTC and the great effort.

Out and about on a quiet Good Friday with miss 5. Perfect time to pick-up a couple of caches in usually high-visibility areas. TFTC.
We found it! With two kids, aged 4 and 7, no problem. However, there were no "treasures" inside -- we left a couple of things that could fit in the micro space. Good cache (but unfortunately too much litter in the area). Thanks!
Out caching with GJMMelb and quiet1_au this afternoon. I was having an increasingly stronger argument with my ISP on the phone. TFTC
We parked close to GZ and while lochb was stuck on the phone dealing with her ISP, G' of GJMMelb and I headed out to search for the cache. G' went straight in while I investigated the outside, slightly distracted by a couple of Magpies perched here, and wondering where the apples were (I wonder if this was a seedling from a past spectator?) - no surprises that G' made the find. TFTC
Found with Lochb and Quiet1_au. Found in the only likely spot once I got close enough. Thanks Haw0006

This one was quite troublesome.
A day looking, a rainy morning, nothing then a DNF was warranted.
I even spoke with the CO, convinced noting was there and it was agreed that I should assist in replacement of the cache.
But then, as amazement would have it, the cache was found, albeit in pieces, and clearly not where I had searched.
So another trip was in order and this time more success was the order of the day.
Thanks Haw0006 - glad I didn't have to place another all is good today!

TFTC, would have dropped the Scout About TB there if it was large enough, oh well will find another scouting cache to drop him in.
12:16, 4 March 17, Find #189, Out for the day caching with vamp1blade and smurff78, we had trouble finding this one but after looking in several places we came back to the original spot and I took a better look from a different access spot and finally found it, but..... I found it in several pieces and it was definitely not what we were expecting from the cache page info. This is large container not a micro as specified on the page. We found the log sheet to be very weather affected and unable to sign so we made up a new replacement log and put that and the original log into a new watertight bag and replaced the cache in a better spot for others to find. TFTC.
Found and replaced page as damaged co still needs to come out and check on. Found with boatietim and smurf.
Boo YaY !!! Found with Tim & Steve !!! Too k some searching, but we found it !!! We put new log book in & bag.
GREAT HIDE !!! SL, TFTC !

Did not find, but after reading last few comments it seems like this was tampered with already. What a shame
Gave this a semi serious look, in consideration of the previous logs, found nothing and quickly continued on.
Found the log papers all over the ground put them back where we think they should have been, tftc
Found the contents of the cache scattered around the area. It looks like it might have been tampered with recently. Collected it all and put it back together. Tftc
TFTC. Perhaps a little bit bigger than a nano. A nice break from watching my son's footy team get beaten by 30 goals. Nice bit of handiwork on the cache. Might need a little TLC.
In the area for the Anzac Weekend, and made this quick little find with no muggles about.
Thanks Haw0006 for placing & maintaining the cache for us to find.

I've driven past here so many times so tonight I decided to grab it. The camo was a bit exposed so I've hidden it a little more discreetly.
