Logs
Day 2 of my Oamaru GeoFest week. Alexandra to Naseby today.
Like Natalie247 we couldn't even find a rock.
Substantial grading etc at this area, so likely to be gone.

No luck had a good huntaround but looks like after washout and road repairs this seems to be gone
Stunning spot! Thought the cache might have been recently rollered, but sure enough it was still there
Travelling around the South Island.
Looking at our wonderful home land.
Weather has been improving every day. Wonderful to travel.
Not much view this morning. Too foggy

Decided to head off to the St Bathans market day and make it a day of caching as well. Cache was laying out in open, have rehidden TFTC
As we drove closer to GZ, I began to wonder where we would be able to pull over as the road seemed a bit narrow for stopping then we came to the top and . . . . . . ample parking with great views! Thanks bringing us here. Left TB. Found with AorakiSheep.
14.35: On the way from Wanaka to Naseby. Lovely lookout at St. Bathans. The area has been transformed into some kind of builders storage, maybe the cache could be endangered by disposing sand, rocks or other material.
Weather: sun, almost cloudless sky, 22°C;
Wheelchair: no problem in general;
State: all good.
IN & OUT: nothing.
Thank you!

Made up for last week's fiasco today with a very successful foray to St Batman's and Cambrian
A lot of family history in these parts
Great view from the parking at this cache although, oddly, the lake wasn't blue today

A bit windy, but nice views. But recommended in the morning to avoid having the sun straight in your face. TFTC
What a fantastic drive down St Bathan's Downs road away form the cache back to Becks. Strongly recommended.
One of many found on our holiday through central and north Otago, Rincewind3 made most finds (his logs will contain most info - it's taken a while for me to log them). Love the view of the lake.

Found on holiday with Mum (Not Manly Jack) and Dad (Rincewind3). We ended up finding at least one cache every day. I enjoyed breaking up the ice in the puddles - it was cold up there.

Great views in all directions. Came up after having a beer and a toastie at the Vulcan Hotel. Hard case locals here!

Up here to visit this amazing place and just happened to come this high when a traveller in distress asked for assistance with jump leads..always carry them of course. So up we all went and parked right beside GZ. Did admire the view. Thanks. Put in a pathtag of Wonderstuffs 14000 that we'd collected without a purpose.
While cycling the Otago Central Rail Trail we took a day off and cycled over to St Bathans. A very interesting place. TFTC
A quick find, once the clue was read. Very windy up here today, had to play chase the cap across the car park!

A quick find on the way back to Alexandra from St Bathans after my first ever visit there. Nice views! Signed log, TFTC
Coming in to St Bathans from this road, we dropped up here before visiting the Vulcan Hotel. Thanks erninz.
Have traveled from Christchurch to Queenstown for a weeks break from the daily grind, what better than enjoy a spectacular holiday destination and hunt out a few GC's. Today went to St Bathans the Blue Lake and had a coffee at the Vulcan Hotel. The lake was so still the reflections were awesome. Nice Hide great view TFTC
Nice quick find. Mrs UNCLE was unaware of the ghost at the Vulcan Hotel so explained that to her. TFTC .
Found at 1:27 PM

We took the alternative road (St Bathans Downs Road) to this cache. This road gives magnificent panoramas for much of its length. This was our second FTF for the day.
+ a marble, - nothing.
