Hello Budgietas thank you for the cache any way.
EeePees, LilRaffa and my self had left Hobart early this morning to go to Launceston to go to the "Th' lost loot o' Mary Hyde" event. After the very well attended event we had a leisurely drive home looking for caches as we went.
On our way home we stopped off to find all of the caches we hadn't already found in Campbell Town as it ended up none of us had found any of the active caches so we had a big list to tick off.
This was one of many on the long list, at GZ we very quickly found the information required to get the new cords we needed. once the calculations were done we started to head to where we thought the cache was hidden then I thought I had entered the cords wrong and checked the cords, they were correct.
After a very good search at GZ and other areas we went back to the warmth of the car. It was then I noticed some thing funny about the cords and went back to GZ and had another look where th others had already looked still nothing.

After attending an event earlier in the day in Launceston with EeePees and AlbyDangles we decided that Campbelltown would be a great place to stop and log some caches on our return trip home. We did the calculations at WP1 and then all three of us had a good look for the container as described. Then we rechecked the details and rechecked the calculations and then looked again. After calling time on it and returning to the car, AlbyDangles got back out and looked again, but still nothing. Thanks anyway for bringing us to this area Budgietas, I'm sure on a sunny day it would be a nice spot to spend some time.
Had 'sailed' from the deep south in treacherous and icy seas very early Sunday morning with Lil Rafa and AlbyDangles to attend the "Th' lost loot o' Mary Hyde" event at Trevallyn Tailrace Park, for some piratey fun and cacher catch-up.
As part of an assault on CampbellTown caches, we searched our calculated GZ quite thoroughly, and individually, but came up empty handed here, even after rechecking the info, our calculations, and many previous logs. It's been 6 months since the last logged find, wonder if its been muggled?
Thanks though Budgietas.

Was a fun find this morning! My geosenses had an idea of where GZ was, and after completing the req info made the find. Tftc!!
Found on our trip around Tassie.

Didn't find the clues to the coordinates until we found the cache. Wish we had looked at our feet sooner. Picked up the traveller and will take it back to the big island. Kutgw
Fantastic multi here and what better that to find a SCOUT geocoin. Oh, the reminiscence. Moving geocoin along. TFTC!
A quick multi to sort out before we made the find at this lovely location. StumbleTrip discovered (and took) the Scout TB (we were both Scouts). TFTC
Found this cache with the lovely TinyStorm. Very clever. I nearly found this one as a joke but didn't quite look hard enough.
Found it! Mark and 3 of the Geokids are heading South today after a couple of nights in Launceston. Stopped at this little reserve for a break just because it had what looked like a simple multi. Kids found the clues and did the math, Mark braved the mud and made the find. Luckily the flood waters didn't get up this far...TFTC...
Found during my first trip to Tasmania - a 10-day sight-seeing trip, enjoying the natural scenery while caching along the way.
Driving back home towards the ferry today it was time for one more stop before Launceston. I enjoy multis, so I went into the Lion's Den where the sneaky GZ was soon calculated and the cache found.
Thanks Budgietas for the cache, which made the 2500km roadtrip more memorable .

As we were heading this way today and we had time to spare we decided to do a couple of multis in the area. I must admit I've never stopped here before but it really is a nice peaceful place for all to enjoy. With 4 kids in tow I headed over to the first waypoint and concentrate on working out where GZ might be. A quick calculation followed by a "how far" moment. I called the kids over and we set off and one of them was lucky enough to make a quick find at GZ. SL TFTC Budgietas we all enjoyed this one
After a late night yesterday, and a day of helping to run maths professional learning sessions for some teachers, I started to wonder if you were deliberately trying to mess with my head when it came to doing the maths for GZ! After the very easy short stroll I had the cache in hand. Thanks for the cache, Budgietas; it was a nice added reward during a pleasant late afternoon stroll around the streets of Campbell Town.
right at lunchtime i arrived at the start of this multi, so i took advantage of the picnic tables and had a break before going for the cache. i quickly turned the info into coordinates and found the nicely hidden container. TFTC!
Today was day 64 of our trip out of Sydney to visit the southern states of Victoria and Tasmania and was day 22 of the Tasmanian part.
We did the maths for this one and then had to laugh. As it was only a short stroll away it meant we were able to locate the cache quite quickly. After the log had been signed the cache was replaced where we found it. Thank you for bringing us to this area and thank you for placing this cache for us and others to find.

Travelling around Australia and spending a few months in Tasmania.
The house is parked at Campbelltown so today we were able to explore both Ross and Campbelltown. Lovely historic areas.
We loved bimbling about exploring and poking around in all the shops and reading historic signs. Needless to say we took loads of photos, and got back home before it started to rain again.

Just passing by so regrettably did not have time to attempt the other multi's in town - another day?! A nice easy challenge with the cache quickly to hand.. thanks..!!
Grabbed some lunch and headed to the GZ, found the numbers required to solve the coordinates whilst finishing lunch. Made a very quick find of the cache. Beautiful spot.

Had to double check our maths but eventually found the prize in this pretty spot. TFTC
Sometimes maths is misleading! The two brackets are not meant to be multiplied together as I discovered after an unnecessarily long walk. Trudging back and thinking again, the penny dropped.
A quick stop for lunch and guess what there's a cache here. The walk to the cache was not very far, a good hiding spot. Found with Bazinga01 and Posho6
Our last (and 19th ) cache for the day, leaving us on 297!
It's been a gorgeous warm day in Tassie today and we have spent the whole day exploring and caching.
This was a nice quick puzzle and lovely walk along the river from the main rd with the geomutts.
We quickly found and logged the cache and the pups had a paddle in the river, our new 11 wk old German Shepherd baby had her very first swim here today
TFTC Budgietas and a wonderful way to end the day.

Beautiful river stroll & well hidden, left a Lego man for the next person
An attractive approach to GZ. After signing the log I took a photo back along the creek to the red bridge. Quite a pretty spot. Thanks Budgietas.
What a pretty little brook! Or river. And the view of the Red Bridge after you cross this one is lovely. We also had a pair of rather fat ducks wandering sling the bank! A nice, quick multi in a pleasant spot. TFTC, Budgietas. =^.^=
Couldn't grab the cache as several car loads of safety suited water workers were nearby on lunch break. Finally got to WP2 on the way back from Tunbridge. All safe and secure. TFTC
Heading north with membsec on a two day roadtrip, finding a cache here and there We were in need of a coffee and leg stretch so Campbell Town it was. At GZ it didn't take long until the sneaky beasty was in hand. I scribbled in the log and then replaced the cache as it had been found. A lovely location!
Thanks for the cache Budgietas

Poor muggle mum...after going to lolly shop (twice) it was decided that if I'm here why waste a geocaching opportunity. Contents dry. Had to double check co-ords...you had me going for a bit lol TNLN TFTC
We have returned from Canada to discover a few more Australian caches! What a great way to explore the Land Down Under" ...
Pretty quick find after figuring out the coords.
Thanks for the fun Budgietas!

Found while down here on holidays from Queensland visiting the Tassie in-laws over the Christmas period.
A nice little spot to stop so I went for a walk and found this one.
I didn't have to walk to far to the cache so I made up for it by walking down along the creek after adding my name to the logbook.

Following a great lunch at Burger Me we had to find the only cache in town that we hadn't done. After working out the coordinators (and rechecking them) we made the strenuous journey to GZ. We both chose a different path but arrived at almost the same time for a sneaky find. TFTC
Queenslanders roaming around, camped in free camp by river. Great hide but always cautious of spiders. TFTC

We stopped in Campbell Town for some well deserved lunch and stopped to do this one before sitting in a nearby park. We have done a few multi's like this one and thought it was clever. Cache was a little tricky to grab but no problems. Stamped and returned as found.
We enjoyed a wonderful 2 week trip around beautiful Tasmania soaking up the sights after visiting here almost 8 years ago. This time the little Na'wals are with us and some caching is to be done. We had a wonderful time time even the the terrible weather that we uncounted most of the time here.

Thanks for the cache, Budgietas !
Thanks for the cache, Budgietas !
Every time we go through Campbell Town we seem to miss this one. Today, Knight #4 made sure we did it.
At WP1 we quickly worked out the solution and were off to the final. The cache was very easily found by Knight #4 after Knight #1 had overlooked it. TFTC budgie.

A frustrating search after not being sure of the new coordinates. They just didn't seem right. Mrs Kanga found it while I was standing around like a dork trying to work out where I had gone wrong.
The start of the drive back to the south proper starts now and Budgie and Old Saint are happy to pull over so I can grab this one with Budgie saying "well if you want to do that one I'll maintain it at the same time" So it was a VERY quick reading of the clues and soon the cache was in hand, in fact Budgie handed it to me after i'd done the numbers bit lol.
Thanks for the cache.

We got quite a surprise when we found this one, wasn't expecting the cache to be where it was or like it was. Also, what a beautiful spot. We know everyone wants to stop and get their caffeine fix on the main street but why not bring your refreshments around to here - I know we will from now on. Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for reinstating this cache Budge. This hidden park needs a cache to advertise it's existence as there's no sign of a sign to turn the tourists off the main drag & (since the removal of those beautiful trees by the bridge) the now severely overtaxed Valentine's Park. We must have driven through CT hundreds of times over the years & never veered. We too visited this multi some months back only to discover a lack of information at the vandalised sign. But hey, that damage has magically made the hunt a little easier. Win!
Reading the instructions to solve the puzzel we were wondering is this a trick????? Is question D really the year of the cache? How can we find out? Well anyway it is the last digit so we are not to worried about it. We made up the coordinates off to GZ. After a firm walk we had the cache in hands pretty quick. Nice and easy and not so time consuming multi! TFTC Budgietas
I had previously tried to find all the info but the second waypoint had been graphitti'd and there were some grey nomad muggles propped right beside the waypoint.
I returned a couple of weeks later and was able to glean some info from under the paint, wearing sunnies and the sun's angle made it possible, but it turns out I got it wrong.
Now the cache description has been reworked, I have been able to fix the error and find the cache.
TNLN, thanks Budgie!

Second sign has been vandalised by spray paint and it is impossible to read. Will have to wait until the council or someone cleans it up...
By a pure fluke we parked on the grass next to WP2 and while Mr Beetle was over collecting WP1 info I had worked out the final. A very short walk then led us to gzl. Thanks, pity you can't camp here though.
Cannot find the location of cache with these equasions. Last entry has us beat. Someone needs to help me find this one!!
tricky hide was almost about to give up and say muggles had removed it when I decided to look in one last spot and hey presto there it was along with a yucky big spider. what is it with all the big spiders in the south they seem to love caches

Hi Budgie found this cache returning from a caravanning weekend at Ross. Nice to stop and find a couple of new caches that had been published since our last visit to Campbell Town.

A nice little multi, found on the picnic day in the company of 2y's and wilco. In the middle of the multi wilco and I were trying to get the jumping-off-a-swing-mid-air photo which took me back about 40 years. (It's not as easy as I remembered it being). Thanks for the cache.
Found in the company of Dippy and 2y'stassies during the event held in Campbell Town. Having read Dippy's log I thought I should add the "jumping off the swing" pictures.
Found in the company of tattsus while walking around the town doing the new caches. An easy find as the team that was there before us sort of gave it away, but thanks nevertheless. A very peaceful and pretty spot away from the main road. Afterwards, we jumped in the car and headed to the last cache.
The actual cache was found somewhat more quickly than we were counting on, as it was in the hands of another team as we were collecting the required information. We have said this before, but one day we WILL come back and read all the signs in the area! TFTC Budgie.
Enjoyed this multi in the company of Cheesy Pigs and red kitten while attending the event. It helps if your GPS works! Luckily Cheesy had his as well as I tried to go further afield than necessary. TFTC
Found with hookline. This is a lovely area. Thanks Budgietas for organising the event and for the 4 new caches around Campbell Town. We enjoyed our first Tassie event and look forward to our next 1.

The impropmtu team of Dippedidooda, Wilco and ourselves found this cache as part of the activities associated with the event. After locating the first waypoint, it didn't take very long to collect the remaining information and identify GZ. Once there, a quick find was made. Thanks budgietas for placing these caches for the event and thanks to team members for an enjoyable time hunting them down.
