Quick find. Thanks for so these caches. Made us go for a good walk on a cold day! Log very wet.
Oh my gosh just as I was doing a DNF my friend found it took us a long time but finally found it yayyayay
Didn't understand the clue at all. Perhaps a local inside joke that I'm unaware of. Thanks to an oddly placed rock, I managed to track it down. Nice day for a jog! Thanks
Quick find to get my fix. Will come back another time and get the rest of the trail. TFTC

In Greytown for the weekend. 1st find while out for a morning walk. Quick and easy. TFTC
A good cache to get kids to look through a wider radius. This time Pops found it again must train grandies to take time look carefully and think laterally
Was hoping to do this walk & get the rest of caches but didnt look like we could get mororhome under the trees so a quick walk to get this one TFTC
Today I was out and about in the Wairarapa with my friends Mar1sa and Etherlord Clan, in an effort to do the entire Nifty Swifty geoart series in a day, in order to help me with my qualification for GC30AD8 DGSc Challenge as well as have an attempt to finally do GC5G2PM 100, 10, 7 Challenge, which has been in my crosshairs for more years than I care to mention. The forecast for our day in the Wairarapa had threatened to put a bit of a dampener on our day, but in the end we were rain-free and spent a deal deal of our time in sunshine. We did get a bit of rain at about 3pm, but we had completed the NS by then so took that as a sign that our combined day was over. But as I was driving towards Greytown from Carterton (where we had met up to carpool) the weather suddenly cleared again so I figured this was an opportunity to get a few more caches under my belt, so decided to have a go at this one.Effectively a quick P 'n' G, I had no problems finding the cache. The container is not in a great condition and consequently water is getting in. As the paper is waterproof, it was good enough to get my name on the log before replacing everything as found. Thanks for everything here.
This was the final cache I found on this part of the trail today. It was the seventh for the trail and eleventh of the day.
I attempted to search for this cache when I initially arrived at the entrance to this trail earlier in the day. I searched unsuccessfully for a few minutes before some dogs at a nearby property started barking, alerting some muggles. I decided to abandon that attempt and begin walking along this trail, seeing how many caches I could find along the way. After a very pleasant walk on this lovely sunny day, as well as having found every other cache on this part of the trail, it was time for me to return to my vehicle. But not before having one final attempt at finding this one!
In the past, I can recall finding one cache with a very similar hint to this one. Though the idea of a skindo cache is still pretty obscure to me, I had a fairly good idea of where this cache would be located. Previous logs as well as some hints from other cache along this trail helped me narrow down its hiding spot. As I was nearing my car, I had a look in one very specific location. Sure enough, the cache was hidden there. I was very pleased that I found this extremely quickly on my second attempt. The lid to the cache was damaged and log was wet but still signable. I soon replaced back where I found before returning to my car and continuing on my adventure for the day.
Many thanks to the CO for placing all these caches along this part of the trail. I had a very enjoyable time walking around here and finding all the caches today. If it weren't for geocaching, it is very likely I would never have known about the existence of this trail.
Thanks again

I am supposed to be tramping but weather is not playing ball, so I only went for a day walk. And spent the rest of the time mucking about the lower Wairarapa. I had been aiming to do this series, and the archived other half further up, for quite a while. Now's my chance.
Ruddy long walk back to the car after I had done both sets. And of course, it was at the start of the long walk back that it started raining...

A nice quick find at the start of the trail. Taking the fur monsters for a bit of a wander. Thanks for the cache
I walked or drove past quite a lot of caches today in locations I had no interest in searching and this trail of caches was actually the highlight of my day since I very much prefer cache trails I can walk compared to random isolated caches. This was the first one which was a quick find. I don't think I've ever actually found an archetypal hide referenced in the hint but I absolutely know what it means! I needn't have used the hint and I didn't for any of the the caches. TFTC.
Been wanting to explore this series on my last few visits over here. Managed to sneak away from our non caching companions! Found with Piwaka54. TFTC
KTG found this cache very quickly with her eagle caching eyes. Great hide. GPS seems to be a couple metres off. TFTC
Nice classic hide to start off this trail. Despite having been to Greytown many times, I’d never visited this trail, so it was cool to have a reason to visit. and I enjoyed this walk, thanks! KTG
Out for a bike ride this afternoon, decided to head down this trail. First one along here, all good, cheers
Spoilt for choice but decided to try the power trail as the weather was iffy. Nice find. Cache is all good. TFTC
From Auckland and on a 7 weeks motor trip to the South Island to do all our outstanding parkruns.

Today is my last day of my time away from home. I'm driving from Masterton to the Ferry then on to Nelson. Time to find a few caches along the way. Having spent most of the last couple of days driving, it was nice to have a bit of a leg stretch on this walk. This was the first cache I came to along here. Found in thje first place I checked. TFTC, Biggles.
A nice stroll along here this evening. Thanks for more smilies and for the exercise. Cheers
Hot day for this but wanted to grab some of this set. This was a quick find when you have eyes wide open. Tftc
Easy find with @peadub before setting out along the walking track. Signed log and replaced where found. TFTC.
Spending a few days in the area with Talla64 and enjoying a great bike ride on this trail. Thank you for all the caches J 'N' K.
On a trip to the Wairarapa with Flowerydaze and doing some caches and this one was on the list. TFTC J'N'K
Visiting Masterton for a week of work. Had some spare time to head out and collect some nearby caches. Found enough Skindo caches not to have a problem with this one. Thanks for the smiley.
Grabbing a few caches before heading home after our Hawkes Bay holiday. Lovely morning to be out. All good at GZ. TFTC.
#1243. Start of the GTPT, which we (GB Leader and me) weren’t quite sure what it stood for - Grey Town Power Trail? Easy find to start with, but the log is very wet, but writable.
The wind was starting to get up, and we decided to do the walk to find the next in line, although recording two DNF’s in the next two searches cut short our enthusiasm.

This was the third day of a trip with my Muggle wife down to Greytown. I got the entire day to do some Geocaching, so I headed for this trail to grab a few. TFTC.

Mrs geodatum was very pleased to be able to join haydn.seek and PJMacNZ on a caching expedition to the Greytown area on this beautiful autumn day. We signed cache logs under a joint team name hamage, using two letters from each of our caching names.
It was a long day, hot and tiring at times, but we had a high success rate and pooling our various strengths worked well for all of us.
We enjoyed many of the caches but much of the river trail to Woodside was hard-going . Unfortunately the trail is apparently no longer being maintained and disappears altogether in many places under the rampant growth of grasses and weed - including blackberry and wandering willie - and access to some of the caches is now very difficult. A few seem to be missing.
After an early morning coffee and a few town caches, it was time to tackle the GTPT caches. The first part of the trail from Udy St to Kuratawhiti St is well maintained, it is after that that the terrain causes issues. It is disappointing however, that #6, disabled since last October has still not been attended to.
#1-#7, excluding #6, were all quick, straightforward finds. Paper was quite wet, but still signable. TFTC

During my Business Trip to New Zealand I found this together with Knarf48. Greetings from Bonn/Germany. TFTC
Decided to try and get a few of this series today and managed to grab 5, this being the first. Thanks CO for the cache.

Out picking up caches today to fulfil a personal challenge.
Thought I might start on this Power trail with my bike.
Cheers for the cache.

A group of muggles arrived at the same time as we did but of course even if you have instant finds you take longer than people who don't stop at all so they soon disappeared into the distance. TFTC .
Just a heads up for anyone planning to do this trail that the 1.5 km mentioned in the description is just the first part of the trail. It's probably evident from the map that it's more like 5km to #18, and it's probably another kilometre from there to the nearest road. The track peters out in two or three places and you need to look around for the continuation. Maybe the first half of the caches can be reached by bicycle, after that a bike would be more nuisance than help. Having said that, it was a fantastic trail and I really enjoyed the challenge. Thanks J'N'K .

We decided to target the row of caches along this walkway/cycle trail before leaving the Wairarapa. Super quick find here. Enjoyed watching the very cute little ponies/horses before continuing on. TFTC # 12,808
I went down to the start of this walk and quickly found the first two of this series but left the rest for another visit as i i had hoped to locate the 5 historic greytown multis.
