Could be a while before I'm able to replace this one. Will need to find a better hide in the near vicinity
Due to my broken foot I am still unable to scout around for a new spot for this one. Could be a few weeks yet
Finally got this one back in place due to muggles around GZ during the holidays and hot weather.
Have been away again. Will have this one back as soon as I can find a suitable replacement container.
Yep, gone. Going o/s in the morning so replacement will have to wait until I return early November.
TFTC, didn’t log as there were muggles. Easy find. This place was the very first date I had with my wife. Special place.
A nice quick find after parking the car nearby. It was busy here today but the cache was well out of sight from muggles. TFTC

Found by the team before I even got out of the car. Nice spot by the water. TFTC
We are on a long weekend holiday with the geo-hounds and decided to eat our chips in the car park.
Once finished time for caching and could not believe we had parked right next to this one.

After the excitement of the Mega we decided to stay an extra day in Morisett and have a bit of a look at this fantastic area as well as pick up a few selected caches along the way.
We came here originally to do the earth cache here but there was no way we were going to leave this one as we were parked only four metres from it.
Our biggest problem was waiting for a break in the muggle traffic and once this occurred we found the cache in the second place we looked and quickly added our name to the log.
We waited until we had another gap before returning it and then headed off down to check out the caves.
Thanks colleda for the cache, the rest of this series will have to wait for our next visit.

Day 4 of Oz Geo Muster and our team (RoddyC & Snickersallan) came to this area after visiting the nearby Webcam at Reids Mistake.
Beautiful scenery and location. Found this cache quickly, SL then returned as found.
Thanks for bringing us to this amazing place.

It's going to take me forever to get home from the Mega, with beautiful spots like this to stop!

We came across your cache, colleda, during day six of caching during the Easter Mega.
Quick find on the way to some caves.

Day 4 of the geomuster mega and we are touring around the lake with good friend granville86a seeing the sights and picking up the odd cache. This one proved nice and quick and we were quickly off to enjoy the water. Tftc
The seventy-ninth find for the day. Considering we parked right at the GZ for this one to do the earthcache, we thought it would be a shame not to have a crack at this one too. It was a quick find. Log signed and cache replaced. TFTC colleda!
So finally, after 5 weeks of torture I have hit the mid semester break for Monash University. And luck for me that it coinsides the Geomuster this year, so after working hard over the holidays I was able to put some money aside for my 4th mega event. Arriving to Newcastle Airport late on the 30th I only had a couple days off before heading home on the tuesday morning. Meeting lots of familiar faces and meeting many new faces was a major part of my first mega out of my home state. Eitherway with lots of caches done this weekend and not enough time to write up detailed logs for all of them (mainly due to my 3 3000 word geology reports due after my week break). But eitherway thanks for the caches/ event I had an absolutely amazing weekend this weekend and cannot wait for my next trip to the beautiful NSW and especially the astounding Lake Macquarie area.
We came down to Caves Beach to marvel at the geology and log the nearby earthcache.
Upon returning to the car I noticed that we had parked only 30 metres away from a traditional cache as well, bonus!
So we walked over and made a quick find in the only spot the cache could have been lurking!

Austpark and I are just going through the caches we did at the Ozmega and we missed logging this one. We would have logged it on the 30/3 or the 31/3. We had a great day doing lab caches around Lake Macquarie. If there was a cache nearby.....gotcha! by the time we got here the day was late, but the sun had come out again and there were many people enjoying the spot, both top and bottom.

31/3/18. 8:52 AM. Cache #5548.
6th of 7 finds (& 2 DNFs) this morning - Pinny Beach & Caves Beach.
It's the second day of our family holiday staying at Caves Beach and I was certainly keen to get some caches while I was up here. I got up early and had a short drive to the end of Spoon Rocks Rd, and then saw that most of the caches on my map around were part of this Two Beaches series, and would be a nice way to get some exercise while checking out the sunrise.
I'd walked my way through most of the series, but after DNFing #2 Post & Rail, I followed the road back south to the car & then drove to this car park cache. After making sure the coast was clear of muggles, I had already sussed out a likely hiding spot, so made my way over and made a quick grab. Walked away with it to sign the log and then returned for a discreet replacement. Starting to run out of time this morning for much more caching, I decided to skip "Balzers Wanderlust # 2" and just had enough time for the "Sea Cave" earth cache, so I headed over there. TFTC.

Whilst at the OzMega event we Northumbriabs (Uilleanns) and I decided to take a walk along the Coastal track and grab a few.
(Unfortunately lost my reading glasses in their case somewhere down the tracks Bugger!)
Great series and walk.

As we'd returned to the area today to do the Earthcache it would have been foolish to have ignored this cache here. Plenty of people around today but due to the many parked cars and with two of us keeping watch we were able to access the cache, sign the log, and return as found, without any problem. Thanks colleda!
A quick park and grab on our way to the Oz GeoMuster and a visit to the Caves below. Thanks colleda.
Found this cache quickly on our way back from visiting the Sea Cave Earthcache. This place is so different now I'm 4 times as old as when I used to come here all the time as a kid. I really have to add this to my to visit properly list in the near future. Next Feb/March perhaps. TFTC
We have arrived at Morisset for the Mega and today with Gullivers Travels54 and Whitewebbs. We found a variety of hides and enjoyed the sight seeing around this area.
An easy find at GZ
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

We are currently in Morisset attending the OzGeoMuster and headed out this way to find some caches, and this was one we found. A lovely spot for a cache and a quick find. A beautiful beach. TFTC
Logged, 16382.3 km from my home location! Thanks for bringing us here, thanks for the cache. This is one of my favorite locations, so I will leave a fovorite point for you.

I came this way to do the inaugural "Caves 2 Catho" walk (ie Caves Beach to Catherine Hill Bay, then back, about 15.5 Km). I knew there were some caches on the way, but I was more focused on enjoying the walk. Plus there were lots of other people walking too, and they weren't making random trips into the bushes to look for Tupperware. Plus it was lightly raining most of the walk, and I wanted to keep my iPhone dry. Certainly some beautiful views and interesting rocks for caching though! I have a great excuse to come back here and have an explore.
So I finished the walk with no finds. BUT when I had collected my finisher's medal and went back to my car, I found I'd parked about 20m from this cache. Cool! So I quickly located the cache, signed the log, and got a find after all Cheers and TFTC!
PS. Almost forgot, I saw a whale! Squeal of delight!

Good hide, however very tricky to get out due to the cache missing it's magnet. It was wedged in the hiding place because it wouldn't stick anywhere.
Found at 1:32 PM GAFF1.
We came here from Mannering Park where we are camped for 2 purposes - 1 to take our grandchildren to this lovely beach and 2 to do the Sea Caves earthcache. However as we parked in the upper car park there was suddenly a 3rd reason - we had parked 1 metre from another cache!
A quick find with excellent co-ords and then we went down the stairs to the beach.
Thanks colleda.

Back in caves beach for work this is the exact spot that I learnt about geocaching many years ago where a lovely couple explained to me why they were searching under the little bridge! Unfortunately that cache is no longer there. Tftc
Wednesday 30 August 2017 - another glorious sunny Winter's day in the low 20s finding 4 caches (2 EarthCaches & 1 trad in Newcastle, 1 trad at Caves Beach Swansea). Unfortunately the hide tides meant that we could not complete 3 Earthcaches - 2 in Newcastle and the one here at Caves Beach. Great that there was this cache nearby to make up for the disappointment.
We were travelling from the Gold Coast(Southport) since Sunday to be in Canberra by Wednesday evening via Newcastle. MuggleHusband remembered that I had loved Caves Beach when I came here at a young teenager some 45 years ago when I lived in Narara. He saw the turn off sign and made a split second descision that we had time to visit the area and caves. I was thrilled the there was an EarthCache here so the walk began after he had a late lunch nearby. We saw that it was high tide so tried accessing the caves from the sides and top but it was clearly far too dangerous to attempt even though we could others had traversed the waves and were close to the caves in question. Took photos from the side and top platform, above these caves, and have attached them below. One day I will be back and hope that the timing with the tides is more favourable than today. Thx MuggleHusband. TFTC colleda.

No problems with this one...located in the obvious spot...off to the viewpoint now to check out the waves
Really couldn't miss this one. It was out in the open for all to see, but intact and complete. Tucked it back out of sight where it initially might have been hiding. Thanks so much for the cache, colleda. Will have to return some day to search for the rest.
The rock by which this one was hidden has been moved and, we presume, is now on top of the cache. Placed a new one a short distance away.

Nope!. Out for day of geocaching with madrabbitoh and had decided to do this series to start the day. Late start though around 10ish which probably set the scene for the rest of the day.
Too many muggles to get this. Its pretty hard to be inconspicuous when standing in the middle of a road. Also, the area has recently been maintained with fresh material added, possibly burying the target. We spent a good deal of time here trying but gave up defeated. Not sure when a good time to do this would be TBH.
Anyway the series turned out to be a good one. We got 6/7 out of the 9 as we did not head onto the Spoon Rocks area, leaving that for another day. The trail is a little overgrown between 6 and 7 which is a real shame, as whats the point of going to all this trouble of creating a coastal walk, and then not maintain it. Shame on the council I suppose.
It should be noted as well, that phone reception is difficult in some areas. We normally use a gpsr and phones, but today I stuffed up the download onto the gpsr so that was useless to us. We did get around though, with a little backtracking occurring once the phone updated.
Thanks for this series, we will return to finish it one day.

TFTC Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
An easy find to kick off day 2 of my little caching road trip with Theatralis. TFTC!
After a dnf in Dec 14 and a cache renewal I've made it back for a find quickly spotted by the grandchild I'm sposed to be minding.
Found this one with my Godson while up here celebrating his 21st birthday. He found it. Thanks. Great views.
