TFTC! Nice easy find not really rock unless it been moved which it probably has been!
A day in the Wairarapa today beginning in Featherston, then onto Martinborough, over to Carterton and behind then down to Greytown for the night. 18 Ad labs, 22 trads, 22 mystery and 1 multi, 4 muggled out so didn't look and only one DNF.
A quick find and sign here. Thanks for the cache.

I hate to admit it, but this cache took me way longer to locate than I expected it to.
I missed this cache during my initial walk out here due to the nearby farmer moving his cows in the paddock next the cache. I figured it would be best for me to continue onwards towards GTPT7, picking up those caches slightly further from the farm, then pick this one up on the return journey. My cache searches from GTPT5 and onwards were very successful.
When I returned to this area, I was hoping the farmer would have left so I could have this location to myself, without rousing any suspicion. I was therefore very disappointed when I heard the sound of a motorbike coming from across the paddock. It was the farmer. Fortunately however, he was just closing some of the fences to his paddocks and was very quickly on his way, leaving me to search this area alone.
I began searching, checking under various hint object for this cache. My initial searches were unsuccessful. I didn't think this cache would be too hard, so I persevered and kept on hunting. For whatever reason, I unknowingly nudged the correct hint object multiple times during my search without actually checking underneath it. My glary sunglasses were doing a great job of obscuring it from my vision. After a bit more unsuccessful searching, I came back to this location and tried getting a closer look, this time removing my sunnies. It was now I was able to immediately notice this particular hint object. I quickly turned it over and the cache revealed itself to me.
Happy that I had finally found it, I quickly signed the logsheet and replaced the container before continuing on my way.

I am supposed to be tramping but weather is not playing ball, so I only went for a day walk. And spent the rest of the time mucking about the lower Wairarapa. I had been aiming to do this series, and the archived other half further up, for quite a while. Now's my chance.
Ruddy long walk back to the car after I had done both sets. And of course, it was at the start of the long walk back that it started raining...

After crossing the cow race (luckily there was a gap after big herd had just gone through) I approached this cache and found it pretty much immediately. Good coords will do that. TFTC.
Liked the look of the little tree but that was a trick. Put some new waterproof in to get through the winter and replaced under rock feature. Tftc
From Auckland and on a 7 weeks motor trip to the South Island to do all our outstanding parkruns.

Today is my last day of my time away from home. I'm driving from Masterton to the Ferry then on to Nelson. Time to find a few caches along the way. Having spent most of the last couple of days driving, it was nice to have a bit of a leg stretch on this walk. A quick find here. TFTC, Biggles.
Fantastic extended caching weekend with evilC! We enjoyed the nice walk to the river, no one around. TFTC!!
A nice stroll along here this evening. Thanks for more smilies and for the exercise. Cheers
Easy find with @peadub along the fence line. Signed log and replaced where found. TFTC.
On a trip to the Wairarapa with Flowerydaze and doing some caches and this one was on the list. A lovely day to be out and about finding caches. TFTC J'N'K
Spending a few days in the area with Talla64 and enjoying a great bike ride on this trail. Thank you for all the caches J 'N' K.
Just finished a week of work in Masterton and now have a few days free to collect some caches in the region. Was here on foot a few days ago but decided to return on my bike. Quick find here. Thanks.
Found this white film case beside a rock but no log. Added a piece of paper but pls let me know if this isn't the cache! TFTC.
This part of the track was excellent with no problems . It is a very well used track! and maintained well thanks to the Lions Club.
Part of out 13 hour geo trip to Greytown. signed as a team as 'hamage' being the first two letters of out 2 names.

Mrs geodatum was very pleased to be able to join haydn.seek and PJMacNZ on a caching expedition to the Greytown area on this beautiful autumn day. We signed cache logs under a joint team name hamage, using two letters from each of our caching names.
It was a long day, hot and tiring at times, but we had a high success rate and pooling our various strengths worked well for all of us.
We enjoyed many of the caches but much of the river trail to Woodside was hard-going . Unfortunately the trail is apparently no longer being maintained and disappears altogether in many places under the rampant growth of grasses and weed - including blackberry and wandering willie - and access to some of the caches is now very difficult. A few seem to be missing.
After an early morning coffee and a few town caches, it was time to tackle the GTPT caches. The first part of the trail from Udy St to Kuratawhiti St is well maintained, it is after that that the terrain causes issues. It is disappointing however, that #6, disabled since last October has still not been attended to.
#1-#7, excluding #6, were all quick, straightforward finds. Paper was quite wet, but still signable. TFTC

I was a little distracted by a decoy here but then watched as Isis headed for the actual object mentioned in the hint. Thanks for the hide.
I know it clearly states this is a walking or cycling trail in the description but we're from Nelson and unfamiliar with the area and looking at the maps it looked as though this section could be driven. It was obvious at #1 that you couldn't so we find ourselves enjoying the countryside by foot - no problem with that its better for us. TFTC # 12,811

Easily found while out and about doing the power trail this morning. Sorry about the copy and paste logs. If there are any caches that are special I'll log those separately. Tftc and thanks for the trail.
