Logs
Full of water and only partially able to sign log. Emptied water as well as we could
Another quick grab. Clue helped. Coordinates a little off for me. Paper was OK, reading past logs. Thanks!
Quick easy find although we had to wait for a local inhabitant to vacate before we were brave enough to grab it log was a bit wet. TFTC
It took us a wee while to locate this cache, which was full of water. We replaced it a few centimetres away in what we hope will be a less wet location. TFTC
navigation was a bit off but read the hint and immediately knew! the log was a bit soggy tho.
In Greytown for the weekend. 4th find while out for a morning walk. Log always quite damp buy not issue to sign.TFTC
Hint made it easy. Grandies found it. Great way to spend St paddies day looking for caches
A pleasant walk after lunch in town to look for this one. Good to get away from the big smoke for a couple of hours. TFTC
A day in the Wairarapa today beginning in Featherston, then onto Martinborough, over to Carterton and behind then down to Greytown for the night. 18 Ad labs, 22 trads, 22 mystery and 1 multi, 4 muggled out so didn't look and only one DNF.
Quickly spotted. Thanks for the cache.

This was the second cache I found while out on this trail today. I made my way over here from GTPT2, missing the two other caches in-between due to the nearby farmer moving his cows along his parallel farm tracks. I figured I would finish this trail off, and pick them up on the return journey.
I soon arrived at GZ after a very pleasant walk. The hint helped me find this cache relatively quickly, despite being the final corner I checked. I did, however, find the cache very exposed and its lid was partially off. Fortunately, its contents were all fine inside. I took the cache to the nearby table to sign the log, but had to wait a few moments for a muggle using the trail to walk by. They instead turned around at GZ.
After signing and closing the lid, I replaced the cache in the same corner I found it in, but tried make it a little bit more obscure so it was less exposed. I soon continued on my way along the trail.

Farmer muggles went past as I arrived. Yeah, I was boring. They had no interest in me.
I am supposed to be tramping but weather is not playing ball, so I only went for a day walk. And spent the rest of the time mucking about the lower Wairarapa. I had been aiming to do this series, and the archived other half further up, for quite a while. Now's my chance.
Ruddy long walk back to the car after I had done both sets. And of course, it was at the start of the long walk back that it started raining...

A good spot to stop on the shade. Fur monsters have had enough so thats the end of the line for us today. Thanks for the fun wee adventure
This cache wasn't hidden at all and just lying there with its lid off. The log was still inside and dry enough. I found the lid, put it back on and put the whole thing under and object to keep it out of sight a bit. I did drop my pen here and it seemed to vanish in the grass. It took me longer to relocate it having accidentally hidden it than it did to find the cache! Thanks for the trail along here.
‘‘Twas pretty damp around here so it is a good thing the cache had a RitR log. TFTC. KTG
Quick find, on an overnighter short holiday from Blenheim. We will have to come back on our bikes...tftc
Thought we might be needing a bit of shelter round about now, but the rain was so slight that us tuff guys just carried on. Cache is all good.
Upset a big spider clinging to the cache. Don't know who got more of a fright! TFTC
Found with nzmel in plain view and rehire with something over the tip. Log very wet, couldn’t sign properly. Tftc
From Auckland and on a 7 weeks motor trip to the South Island to do all our outstanding parkruns.

Today is my last day of my time away from home. I'm driving from Masterton to the Ferry then on to Nelson. Time to find a few caches along the way. Having spent most of the last couple of days driving, it was nice to have a bit of a leg stretch on this walk. All good here. Found as per the hint. TFTC, Biggles.
Fantastic extended caching weekend with evilC! We enjoyed the nice walk to the river, no one around. TFTC!!
A nice stroll along here this evening. Thanks for more smilies and for the exercise. Cheers
'Foot loose' hall which gave us some relief from the sun while signing this log. Tftc
Nice to get out of the sun and in to the shade of the "Wire shed". Disturbed the swallows that live here. Easy find but log was quite damp. Signed log and replaced where found. TFTC
On a trip to the Wairarapa with Flowerydaze and doing some caches and this one was on the list. Lovely day to be out and about. TFTC J'N'K
Spending a few days in the area with Talla64 and enjoying a great bike ride on this trail. Thank you for all the caches J 'N' K.
Just finished a week of work in Masterton and now have a few days free to collect some caches in the region. Was here on foot a few days ago but decided to return on my bike to complete this series. Quick find. Thanks for the smiley.
This was the third day of a trip with my Muggle wife down to Greytown. I got the entire day to do some Geocaching, so I headed for this trail to grab a few. TFTC.

Mrs geodatum was very pleased to be able to join haydn.seek and PJMacNZ on a caching expedition to the Greytown area on this beautiful autumn day. We signed cache logs under a joint team name hamage, using two letters from each of our caching names.
It was a long day, hot and tiring at times, but we had a high success rate and pooling our various strengths worked well for all of us.
We enjoyed many of the caches but much of the river trail to Woodside was hard-going . Unfortunately the trail is apparently no longer being maintained and disappears altogether in many places under the rampant growth of grasses and weed - including blackberry and wandering willie - and access to some of the caches is now very difficult. A few seem to be missing.
After an early morning coffee and a few town caches, it was time to tackle the GTPT caches. The first part of the trail from Udy St to Kuratawhiti St is well maintained, it is after that that the terrain causes issues. It is disappointing however, that #6, disabled since last October has still not been attended to.
#1-#7, excluding #6, were all quick, straightforward finds. Paper was quite wet, but still signable. TFTC

As we approached we could see there were muggles in the general area of this cache. Fortunately the coordinates lead us to a place that was hidden from them so we managed to nab the cache without anyone noticing. Thanks for the hide.
Another in the bag as we continue our way along this section of the trail. TFTC # 12,812
Easily found while out and about doing the power trail this morning. Sorry about the copy and paste logs. If there are any caches that are special I'll log those separately. Tftc and thanks for the trail.
